Lance looked back are her and smiled. "Yah I dont know what happened to that" He said. Lance didn't know why, but this girl made him feel good. He wanted to tell her certain things, but thought it would be fun to keep a few secrets.

Her face grew hotter as he smiled and another brief smile traced her lips, "Th-that's okay. I'm not one for fancy parties." She continued to doodle and found herself drawing him. It was rather shaky and not so well done, but she hadn't drawn since who knows when.

Lance watched her. he found her quit interesting, so he studied her face and her hand moving about on the paper. He couldn't see the picture though. "What are you drawing?" He asked.

Blinking, she looked at the paper and laughed alittle, covering her mouth. She turned the pad around and showed him, it...was pretty horrible. But it looked like him sort of. If one of his eyes was deformed. "Don't worry, you really don't look like that."

Lance looked at the picture. He tried not to laugh, but couldn't help himself he started to laugh anyway. "Sorry its not THAT bad" He said. It looked like a deformed picture of himself.

"I told you I wasn't any good!" She couldn't help but grin then burst into laughter with him. Her face turned red, she hadn't laughed in such a long time and it felt so good. She couldn't hold it in as he tried to console her, "Its hor-horrible!" Tears started to form and she tried to stop.

Lance continued to laugh. "Yah well we cant all be artists." He said still laughing. He managed to calm himself a little, but he was still laughing.

"I dunno, I'm just glad you don't actually look like that. maybe one day I'll be able to draw you right." Tried to suppress her laughter as she looked at the picture, "If I live to one hundred and four!" Grinning, she watched him, he wasn't bad looking. She kind of wanted to tie her hair up and look nice...maybe she could be mistaken from pretty if she wasn't standing next to the other girls.

Lance look at her. He managed to stop laughing. She really wasn't that ugly even though she seemed to think she was. In his opinion she was rather pretty. There is a way though she could live that long, but he wasn't going to say anything. "I dont think it would take you that long."

She sighed as she calmed and smirked, "Bah! Flattery." Combing her right hand back through her black hair, her entire face was visible. "So do I get a room here and does it have to be close to the other girls? No offense to them...but...I don't...make friends easy." She looked down and fiddled with her shirt. "Also...these are all the clothes I brought, or are you guys still planning on killing us." She had a stone serious face more a moment before she winked.

"Yah you get a room here" He said with a smile. "Well if you want you can sleep in a basement, thats where I sleep" He looked at her, she was really pretty when you could see her whole face. As for the question about whether or not he was going to kill her, he just ignored it.

"The Basement, huh? I think I could definitely tolerate fooling around in the dark with y--oh god." she covered her mouth and blushed, that had sounded lass innocent then she had meant. "Uhm, y'know..."

Lance giggled a little, and turned away. That had made him a little embarressed. "Anyway..." He said trying to change the subject, but he wasn't sure how.

She smirked alittle and picked up the pad of paper and the pencil, "How about you show me where my room will be and I can get situated?"

Interesting Facts:

The two highest IQ's ever recorded (on a standard test) both belong to women.

Sliced bread was patented by a jeweller, Otto Rohwedder, in 1928. He had been working on it for 16 years, having started in 1912.
Lance stood up from his chair. He knew what room he was going to give her since she didn't want the one upstairs. "Ok follow me" He said, and started out of the library. Lance slept in the basement because he hated the sun more then most vampires. He had no more trouble with it then any other, just hated it more.
