Tsuki looked up into Tashiro's face and only cried harder. Why am I even crying? Looking into Tashiro's eyes, she knew why she was crying. It was because Tashiro had easily accepted Minori, when it had taken Tsuki months to even talk to Tashiro. Minori was being accepted by everyone; Junji, Tashiro, Hoshi, Shinobu, and even Kyo. Kyo, who was sweet and nice to everyone, except for Tsuki.

Tashiro was confused to see her crying more, completely unaware of what would cause such a reaction. He let a gentle smile remain on his lips as he pulled her into a gentle hug, his arms held loosely around her. "Whatever's upset you, Tsuki-chan...I'm sorry..." He murmured, as it was quite the truth. He did not like seeing her like this, or anyone for that matter, really. "Please...tell me what I can do..."

Tsuki buried her face in his shoulder. Stop crying, she commanded herself, and wiped her eyes as it started to work. "Why does Kyo treat me like something less than a girl?" Her voice was quiet.

"Kyo-san?" Tashiro repeated the name quietly, considering the question. "That's what this is about?" He tilted his head, somehow not buying it, not entirely. He would play along, though, so as not to upset her more. "I don't know, to be honest. He probably only thinks of you as Ren-san's little sister, not as a 'princess'." He replied finally, taking his best guess at it. It may not have been the truth of the matter, but he didn't know either way. Turning his head to watch her, he smiled slightly, before pressing his lips briefly to the top of her head. "Never mind him, though. That's just the way Kyo-san is sometimes."

Hoshi tilted her head at the observation, as though she hadn't noticed it herself. "Do I?" She thought about it for a moment or so, before lightly shaking her head. There was nothing bad she could think of that would cause her to stare. "N-no....I don't believe anything is the matter." She replied after giving it a few moments of thought, a small smile crept onto her lips once more after she'd answered. However, upon thinking of other reasons there might be for such a thing, she couldn't help a faint bit of color filling her cheeks. "Does it bother you? I...I can try not to, if you'd prefer."

Reaching out Ren lightly took her hands in his own, shaking his head. Normally, he was fairly aloof with his customers, yet with Hoshi.. He smiled softly. "Of course not.. I am simply glad.. that it is you who would stare at one such I.." At his own words he blinked, a light pink tinge reaching his cheeks. "A-Ahh.. it is true.. what I say.. I simply cannot deny that fact.."

Hoshi was silent a moment, her cheeks still flushed with a pink tinge as well. Her eyes rested momentarily upon where he held her hands, before moving back up to him, a soft smile returning to her lips. "If that is the case... then..." Her hands shifted to gently grasp his in return, as she leaned forward slightly. "...perhaps you wouldn't mind something.. like this.." As her voice trailed off, she leaned forward a bit more, so that their lips connected briefly, before she sat back once more, simply awaiting his reaction to her unusual boldness.

With a rapid thumping of his heart against his chest Renten blinked, peering over his glasses to Hoshi. "You.." he began, but simply shook his head, smiling. "I could not have asked for anything more.." Reaching his hands up to lightly cup her face he drew her in once more, bringing their lips together yet again. This time he held her there for a moment or so before drawing away, searching her eyes. "What sparked this..?"

* Shino, in need of some sugar refill was shuffling to the desserts, which proved to be a little difficult at the moment with the amount of guests they had. He would pick up pieces of their conversations.
"Aww he's sooo cute!"
'Shhh. He might hear you"
"What?! He's a Senior?"
Hearing the last comment Shinobu gave a heart-warming smile of his own in their direction before finding the long awaited sweets and sat himself down infront of a tray of cookies. As he munched on them, and managed to get crumbs on his tailored shirt he looked around. From his spot he had a clear view of the room and of the table occupied by Hoshi and Renten.
"Oh..."his brows raised, now hidden beneath his bangs. Quickly he averted his eyes elsewhere not wanting to pry.*

Silence lingered between the pair for a second or so, Hoshi's eyes blinking as they searched his in return. Finally, she gave a soft sigh, slowly shaking her head from one side to the other. "I-I'm not entirely sure..." She admitted quietly, seeming unsure how to word her thoughts--something rather unusual for her. "...I suppose...it was just an impulse, though... not one I regret acting upon." She finished with a small smile, before shifting to lift her tea from the table once more, and taking a quick sip from it.
