A tennis ball bounced against the wall of "The box" A.K.A, Solitary Confinement. It was about 4 square yards, perfectly square, perfectly ugly, steel-plated cell on the edge of the reservation. The sun was rising now. Thene pretended to pay it no mind, continuing to bounce the ball against the wall à la The Great Escape.
She was not pleased. If she wasn't stuck in this stupid mortal body, she'd show those damn guards what for...but she was. Stupid mortal body. She had lost two cup sizes in this damn thing! And the hair! Nasty, stringy silver hair! Not the glorious amber waves she had back in Olympus, that was for sure. And yet in all her ugliness, that guard at the border still had the nerve to call her 'Honey'? He deserved that merciless kick to the kumquats! But then they had to start freaking out because apparently he couldn't have kids anymore? Ha! She did the human gene pool a favor!
She wouldn't stand for this.
Bang.
And once she got her beautiful Goddess body back...

Every freakin' guard would pay.

Athena had a bit of a temper. This was no secret. But it was also no secret that today was day 7. The day she got to go back into that hellhole dusty desert wasteland again. Oh rapture. She could hardly wait.
The door opened and a guard's body blocked out the sunlight partially, sending blinding beams into Thene's one eye. Thene sighed and grumbled.
"Have you learned your lesson?" The guard cocked his head.
Thene rolled her eye. "Yes sir."
"Then we're clear then?"
"Transparently." Thene replied.
The guard's eyes narrowed and he stood aside. She walked out.

Hope stretched out her tired muscles. She looked out her 2nd story window and yawned. San Fransisco was as foggy as ever. She looked out at the bay "Good Morning Dad." She said lightly, the waves seemed to sparkle as an anwser. "Today is going to be great." Today was her meeting on Olympus, she was assigned a important job to oversee the reservations and today was update day, the one time she couls ever see the family she had come to love. It meant a lond trip to New York, but it was worth it. She quickly got dressed and put her black/blue hair into a ponytail. She looked in the mirror and smiled "Today is going to be a great day."

The dust blew around Thene's ankles. She frowned and looked around. The air was dry. The sun was bright. The wind was hot and dusty. She sighed. Damn desert.

The barren landscape of Area 51 stretched for miles before Sondossa's eyes. The sun had already risen high enough in the sky that it was boiling hot out in the open. Her long blue hair gently brushed against her face, and her white dress and cloak hugged her small frame. The day had only just begun, but already Sondossa was wishing it hadn't. She sighed as she began to patrol the edges of the reservation, looking for both Freedom Fighters, possible recruits, and those who wished them harm.

"YAWN!" Haine streched her back. You could hear each and every part of her back pop. She got up out of bed and headed towards the bathroom in the back of her families inn. She quickly locked the door and turned into her original form. She had beautiful silver hair and big red eyes. Her black tail and ears twitched. Hmmm.....i wish i could stay like this all the time. She washed her face. Then got in the shower. Whenever she had privicy like this she would remove the appearence spell put on her by her parents. When the spell was effective she lost her ears and tail and she gained black hair and dark blue eyes. "Haine....Haine dear. We've got customers....." her adopted mother called out. "Coming!" Haine yelled. She had a part time job at her families inn. She quickly finished and the spell had effect on her again. Haine got in to her white old styled japanese uniform. "Yes mother you called..." she looked at women she knew as her mother. She missed her real parents, but the people she lived with in New York City were kind for a bunch of weak humans.

"KYAAAHH!!!" Thene's fists smacked into a punching bag with impossible speed and strength. She punched and punched and punched, then went into a few kicks. In the reservation Rec center, she could always blow off steam. The Goddess of War and Wisdom was good to have on the side of the Freedom fighters. She liked anyone who showed her some common decency. Then brushed her silver hair out of her eye and sighed. She was wearing a tight wifebeater and baggy sweats as she made her way to the showers. As she stepped in and got the sweat off of her stinking human meat sack body, she sighed. The muscles were sore. She wasn't used to soreness. Daddy told her that she shouldn't strain her human body too hard...but it got tired sooo easily! And they didn't have Ambrosia down here! What did they expect a Goddess to eat? Doritos?

Hope jumped on the next farry to Alkatraz and hopped on the underground subway to New York. She walked into her friend's parent's inn and waved to her friend's mortal mother. "Hey can you tell Haine I'm here?" I stood in the gift shop and looked at the cards.

" What a poliet young women...." said a lady in around her late twenties. " How i wish my children were as sweet... I'm taking a vaction from them." i looked at the woman and she looked back. " May i ask your name." I shook my head and replied, " My name is Haine Kimiya......nice to meet you." i bowed my head. Why do i have to act like this towards someone who is under me. " Haine show her to her room, please." I put bacl on my cheerful face, " Yes mother......" Turning to the woman she said, " Follow me.." She showed the lady her room when she heard a bell. " Excuse me a moment...." She walked back to the lobby of the inn.

'Sondossa, take these.' Loriana thrust a bow and quiver into her arms. 'Now listen to me very closely,' she said taking Sondossa's face into her hands. 'You are to run and keep going; don't stop. No matter what you hear or see, don't stop. Get as far away from here as you can and stay there. Your father and I will come for you. I prom-' The fire started. There were yells from outside the house. 'Run, Sondossa! Run!'
Sondossa shook her head, clearing the old memories from her mind. Focus on something else, she told herself. Stay busy and your memories will leave you alone. Sondossa stood up and slowly started walking along the streets of the reservation, giving smiles to the few people she saw as she went.
