As Loch walked into the store he knew something was wrong. The emotions were roiling off these guys like steam. Loch approached the one nearest the counter. "Is there any way i can help you?" he asked as he felt hsi way along the counter. keeping up the cheraide of being completly blind.

The one nearest the counter turned and faced Loch. "You the elf called Loch?"

Loch noded a few times. "Yes, that is me."

THe man noded. "Were here to take you in. You have been seen consorting with the rebellion and have been marked as a traitor to the crown. Will you come quietly?"

Loc's staff spun up and craked into the man's temple droppng him like a sack of grain. Once their leader fell the men sprang into action. One tried lunging over th ecounter at Loch but Loch simply side stepped and leapt over to face the others.

Kato finished up the apple she had been given rather quickly. In the same fashion, she located a rather unappealing shop that stocked thick leather armor. She moved inside to take a look around, but the ceiling was low enough that she had to bend over and crane her neck, which was not comfortable. In the end, she decided that this place would not accommodate her and left as quickly as possible. She decided that it would just be best to find the rendezvous point and wait for the time being. Where was that again? Outside of town... Where? She thought of going to ask, but decided that it would be best to just get a look around. With any luck, she would be found. Slowly, she headed out of the city.

I have no clue if I'll have an internet connection when I get home from school.
Winds are getting up to 65 mph today, I kid you not.

Let the Brush Flow
Lola after a while decided to take a stroll around town. She wanted to see the stars for some reason. As she walked outside she looked up and then smiled as she headed for the dark elf's shop.

Loch began a furious assault on the two that were now facing him. He was aiming for un armored areas. Knuckels, throats, jaws, wrists. Anythin to cause some pain and distract them so he could get a good attack in. When an opening came he trie to lunge forward but something grabbed his ankle. It was the first guard he had dropped. "Wow, you got one hard head." he said as he tried to strike at the guard with hsi staff, but it was knocked away by the other two. The group of guards, now regrouped and sore with their beating wanted revenge. they commenced to kicking and pummeing the form of Loch who was on the ground. Once finished the leader of the group tied Loch up to a shelf using the rope in his shop and began to pour hsi best alcohol on the walls and shelves. "Screw taking your sodding carcas in. The king will be pleased if we just burn you right here."

"No, not my store!" loch pleaded.

"To bad elfey boy." THe man chucked as he struck a match and lit the spilled alcohol. All of them quickly ran out of the shop as the flames spread.

Loch began to cough because of the smoke, but he remained calm. He could escape easily. With a deft twist of his wrists he was free of the bindings. He quickly gathered up some of the things from his shop that were important and ran to the back room. He grabbed his staff and a few more items then ran out throwing his cloak on as he went.

he patted out a few of the flames on his body and turnd to face the burning shop.

Laserus had nodded to his brothers words, brother's ears were never wrong when it came to danger. he grabbed his satchel and his Cue, folded it up and put it inside then disappeared using shadow magick to miss the men as they came in the front door. He headed from the alleyway to the edge of town with such grace and speed as he leapt from roof to roof unseen.

As the gaurds exited the now burning store a giggle was heard. "You know its not nice to do such things to my allies?" The gaurds looked around confused and then the echoes of the charms began. the chiming lingered and all of a sudden the gaurds started dropping like flys. No one saw a thing but after the killing was over, all that remained was Lola smiling as the wind hit the charms all over her outfit, and the soul claw still on one of her hands, "Too bad you will never have another chance to fix your problem." She then turned in Lochs direction, "are you all right my friend?"

Loch nodded. "That i am. Thank you." Loch Pulled off the cloth covering his eyes revealing hsi milky white orbs. he "Looked" at the corpses on the ground. "You know, your a hard person to track..... and you are now an enemy of the king..."

Lola smiled and then shook her head, "Nah, I just cannot stand people disrupting the peace in the forests and in all the inocent peoples lives." She looked down at the corpses and felt no shame or descust as she made the claw disapear. "All I am is a Gypsy who preferes to keep the peace, and protects it."

Loch shook hsi head. "Well, alright then. I offer you a safe haven with the resistance. a favor for a favor?"

Lola shook her head again, "I was paying you back. You did something good for me so I was returning the favor." She jingled the pendent that Loch had given her.

Loch laughed. "Ah, i see. well actually i guess i don't.... oh well. I'm glad th ependant came in handy." LOch turned to see guards combing the crowd looking for him. "I need to get outta here. The resistance needs me." Loch began walking into an alleyway. "You can come if you like."

Lola jingled behind him humming a very light and fast tune as she walked behind him. It seemed like she always smiled. even in times of war.

Loch could see the outskirts of town at the end of the alleyway. THe capital was a weird city. It had no wal to speak of just a ring of houses surrounding a castle. Loch could never get over this fact... "I'm supposed to meet a few people here."

Lola just smiled as she sat herself down and looked into the sky again, "Kato will be having difficulty getting to the right spot.. you think I should play my flute and see if she fallows?"

"You can. That would probabaly work since she recognizes your music." Loch continued walking till he got to the tree line. He groaned a litle as he sat beneath a shady willow.
