Loch smiled. "Your the second recruit today. Don't worry about eaves droppers this place is shielded. our conversation is safe." Loch nodded. "i plan on meeting the new recruits at the outskirts of town, Meet me there at sundown. I'll get you to the resistance." Loch's ears twitched with ecitement. The resistance was growing.

"Thank you," she smiled. Now she was amused by the twitching of the man's ears, which was quite apparent. Pushing some light hair from her face with the hand she now had back, she tucked the pendant away again and hooked her thumb on her belt.

"Is there anything I can do until then?"

[[I'm going to bed! Talk to you tomorrow.]]

"explore the town and get any suppies or armor you need." Loch scratched his head. "Just make sure your there at sundown. You'l now it's me when you see me."

(g'night, sleep well)

Lola jingled her way down the alleyway when the men from before payed her another visit, "Hey Gypsy! You got some pretty jewlery there! " The man stumbled as he walked towards Lola with a blade in his hand. She assumed the man drunk allong with his companions and then smiled as he grabbed her shoulder. In the next moment only the sound of coins clinging against each other, and then she left the allyway still smiling and humming towards the next inn. A scream was heard later when someone else wandered into the ally.

Kato nodded to Loch in thanks, murmuring it as well when she remembered that he was blind. She rose to her full height and unhooked her hands from her belt, instead resting one on a sword. Generally speaking, she only did these things when threatened, but now it just felt comfortable to have some place to rest her hands other than at a hanging position at her sides.

"I'll see you at the setting of the sun then, sir," and with a smile, she left, headed off to find perhaps a meal or armor. At this point, she had money for the possibility of both. In the distance, she could hear jingling, and she supposed that was Lola moving about not terribly far away. That was the first thing that came to mind, anyway.

Lola walked towards the nearest inn when she caught sight of the giantess. She smiled and then basically danced to her side. She made chim noises as she walked over to her. "Hello my friend. May I ask where you are headed?" She then tilted her head, making her look almost child like as she looked up to her eyes.

Lola was an exciting one, that was for sure. As the woman danced to Kato, the giantess could not keep from smiling. The charm of this gypsy was quite infectious. Kato actually found herself tempted to pat the woman's head. That was simply too strange, though. Instead, she turned a bit red and spoke, just barely lifting her mouth from over her scarf.

"Greetings," she replied. "I was looking for something to eat..." Then she paused, having just reached a corner. Looking around, it took a moment for the halfer's thoughts to process. She really had no clue what to look for. This was essentially her first time in the city!

Lola smiled wider to Kato's reaction. She then pointed to the inn that she would be staying in for the night, "Well if you want I can make something for you. I may not look it but I know how to cook quite well. I think I could make something for the two of us." She offered her hand as she spoke to Kato.

"I couldn't impose," said Kato right away. She smiled, of course, but could see many problems right away from this proposal, the first of which getting stuck in a way that would make her miss the meeting at sundown.

[[Ack! The shortness...]]

(( ^-^ don't worry your fine~! ))

Lola smiled still as she didn't want to force the girl into anything that she didn't want to do. She then reached into her bag that wraped around to the back of her waist and handed her an apple, "Eat it, its good for you and it will give you energy. I promise I didn't poison it, so please." She then hummed and jingled her way inside the Rusty Sword Inn.

Jak sighed and stood up, suddenly remembering the reason he'd gone into the shop. "Knife sharpener! " He hurried into town, his cloak fluttering slightly with the speed of his walk. He found a weapon shop near the edge of town. Jak pulled some coins from his pocket, walking into the shop. He found a sharpener, a small stone made for throwing knives, and paid for it. He left the shop, walking calmly out to the rock. "Why was I in a rush? It's not even near sunset yet. " He looked to the sun, just barely touching the horizon. He arrived back at the spot he'd been sitting at. He sat back down, pulling out the knife sharpener.

Laserus decided to come from the back to the front and heard was what they had said and cheered a bit in his head. "Good job, Loch! we got another comrad! but I did go to the store when you were gone. I got that rice you like." Laserus told him with a smile as his scarf hung over his shoulders his middle bowl shaped hair.

The apple that Kato was given was not a bad looking piece of fruit. She trusted that Lola had not done anything to it, but appreciated the care she took in making sure that was understood. She took a bite out of the apple and it was already nearly gone, but she decided to wait to finish it. Turning her head, she checked how much time she had left. Sun's still on the move, she thought. I should get moving. With that, she hurried on to look for some armor shop or the like.

I have no clue if I'll have an internet connection when I get home from school.
Winds are getting up to 65 mph today, I kid you not.

Loch nodded. "Thanks Laserus." he said as his ears twitched. his brow furrowed. "Laserus, i need you to leave... now. Go meet the others at the edge of town." his ears twitched once more. "Go, now." he whispered as he heard someone enter the shop with th etrod of heavy boots. it was more than just one person. there were four... they were armored and carried weapons. "i will meet you there, now go."

Jak finished sharpening his knives, pleased with the results. He slipped the last one into one of the many sheaths hidden whithin his cloak and armor. He pulled out his longsword, deciding to shapen the tip a little. He looked up at the sun, smiling at the familliar warmth.
