Lola only smiled as the elf waved her off. She never really minded peoples rudeness, she felt every one was who they were and that was it. She could have easily fought for the earnings before but chose not to. To her good things happen to those who waited and that was very evident through what just happened now. She placed the on one of her many chains that covered her outfit and then let it set on her side. She then looked down at the counter and noticed the symbol drawn in the dust. She raised an eyebrow and then smiled as she moved towards the tall woman.

Jak looked at the shopkeep, "Excuse me sir,' he began, "is your name Loch? " he asked, placing his hands on the counter.

"It is usually good manners to introduse yourself befoer asking of another." Loch said with a chuckle

"I'm sorry," Jak apoligized, "I get a little ahead of myself sometimes. I'm Jak." he reached into his cloak, pulling out a small stick. Placing the stick in his mouth, he began to chew on it.

"WEll, nice to meet you Jak. What can i do for you?" as he asked this he casually wiped the mark in the dust away.

Jak tilted his head to the side. "Well, that symbol is actually the reason I'm here. " He tapped the table where the mark previously was. "I'm not sure if you can read this, but these are the orders I was given. " He reached into one of his pouches and pulled out the note he'd read earlier. "I was told you're able to see, but you're also blind...sooo, I'm not quite sure if you can read or not... "

Loch sighed. "No, i can not read." Loch scratched his head. "What does it say boy?"

"Well, it just says to find the shopkeep who sees, yet doesn't. Under the messege it has the same mark as the one on the table. " He looked up from the note, "It also says to tell you that I'm the recruit." He placed the note back in his pocket, chewing on the stick some more.

Loch's brow furrowed with thought. Loch grabbed the boy by the collar of his shirt and pulled him forward. "Hold your toung or lose it. There are times to speak and times to listen." as he said this loch's ears twitched. "Mind what you say." then in a tiny voice he spoke. go out back and wait for me there.

Jak cringed at the touch. 'He's touching me... Oh how I hate it when they touch me...' The familiar burning began in his stomach. He took a deep breath, nodding in response to the mans order. Jak turned and walked outside, his breath quivering.

Loch looked to the rest of the group that was in his store. "Alright everyone. I need to be steppin out in a little while so finish up your shopping. And i have that crest because it was given to me as a gift. it really helped me out."

Jak leaned on the wall outside, now chewing feverently on the stick. A liquid began to leak out, the burning in his stomach subsiding. He pulled his hood farther over his face, looking around at the people on the street. He took the stick out of his mouth and slipped it back into the pouch in his cloak.

Lola looked at Loch and smiled again. She nodded her head his way and then made her way out of the store. She could be heard all the way down the street, she then disapeared into an ally way and all that remained of her was the sound of her jewlery.

Loch quickly walked out the back of hsi shop and stood before the boy staff in hand. "that was a stupid move boy. Who sent you?"

Alexander sat under the tree, his ears twitching every now and then as he listened to the breeze blow on by. He could still see the small town from where sat, and out towards the opposite end was nothing but wilderness, and who knew what. He let out a small sigh as he let his back rest up against the tree trunk. He'd have to think of where to go next. Surely any place would be beneficial, he just had to know in what way.
