In the land of Fayra creatures of magic used to live freely un-hindered, yet governed by one ruler. He was once a kind man, until the queen died. Then things just seemed to change. The king was not himself anymore. The grief of his loss drove him to the depths of depression. Until someone new came into his life. Her name was Acacia. The king changed entirely, he became happy and was able to enjoy his life with his family. But things changed again. After the king had left to hunt for pagans, in the land of Fayra. He returned to find his lady love worshiping with a group of others to a Demigod. The king went into a rage killing all the worshipers. But when he got to his wife he stopped, he could not bring the sword down. Siegfried saw too much of his former wife in her and he still loved his current wife. In despair he turned the blade back on himself. Hoping to end his pain. But a voice sounded in his ear. “Do you wish for it to stop? The pain…. The sorrow? I can do this for you….” Siegfried looked around and searched for the origin of the voice “Who are you?” A friend….. If you will allow it…. “What is it that you want!? Can you take it away? All of it?” I can….. I just need one little thing from you. A sacrifice. My powers will not be free. I only need one life. She will do nicely…the voice purred. Siegfried slowly turned his head to look at his wife. A crazed look was in his eye as he began to chuckle. “You may take her; just release me from this pain!” The voice turned from a harsh whisper to a deep bass. The bargain has been struck. You shall be released from your pain! A pillar of flames engulfed Acacia, her screams pierced through the castle as she was burned alive, both body and soul. A ring of fire surrounded Siegfried and began to slowly rotate around him, building in intensity. Siegfried could feel power flowing into his limbs but there was something else; he could feel something invading his mind. He fell to his knees and grabbed his head as the demon worked its way inside. The tiny part of the consciousness that was Siegfried cried out in despair at what it had done. But it was too late. The creature’s work was done. The being stood using Siegfried’s body. Siegfried is no more! I AM Sarthaz!

From then on the world began to descend into a time of chaos and war. Sarthaz simply sits on his throne and laughs at the carnage he enjoys so much. But there is a faint glimmer of hope. A resistance movement as started. In the undergrounds f the capital city a small light shows. Will the resistance triumph?

Loch sat on a grassy knoll overlooking the once peaceful city of Vicca. The capital of Fayra. He could still remember when Fayra was a beautiful land full happiness. But now this, Vicca was now a dark and dismal place directly under the thumb of the evil king.

Lola looked into the sky remembering the many happy moments in her life before the evil reign came over the land. She sighed and the began to play the flute that she used to gather money. She played a random sweet melody as passerbys would throw gold and food into a container that she layed out.

Loch stood realizing that he needed to get back to town. It was time to open up the shop. He pulled his cloak over his shoulder and took off at a dead sprint to the opened gates of the city. Before he got there he slowed to a walk and slowly entered the city, so he would not attract attention. His ears twitched a few times as he walked down the main street of the city, at one point in time h eeven heard a flute playing.

It was almost odd. Kato was able to breathe in a fresh gust of air as she overlooked a ravaged land. Though it was true, the air catered to her senses differently because of her advanced height, she had at least expected some foreboding scent to be carried by any breeze that flowed past the city that stood before her. Slowly, she rested a hand on the hilt of one sword. Her eyes scanned the area as a natural sense of paranoia set in. Did this clean wind mean something? All grew silent around her until all she could hear was the faint sound of music, presumably caused by a performer or traveler. She sighed and shook her head, realizing she had tensed up for nothing.

"...I've heard this place was beautiful once," she murmured, mainly to herself. The vision of beauty was certainly gone now. The ruined city looked anything but noble and pristine. With steps lighter than what one might expect of a giantess, she carried on toward Vicca.

Loch soon arrived at his store. He entered quickly and fliped the sign to open. It was a nice little shop. large and roomey with an item for every adventurer. Even a few select items for special customers. Loch took off his cloak and hung it on a peg, revealing his heritage. He then picked his staff up from it's wall hanger and walked behind the counter.

On entering the city, Kato had expected a lot more right out fighting. Instead, she was faced with an eerie silence that brought out her more suspicious nature once again. She fought off the urge to take a hold of a weapon again. At this point in the game, the tall woman had very few encounters with people under her belt, and the only people she really knew were all taller than her. She had no clue that her stature could be seen as a weapon within itself. After all, she towered over men and women alike. Though height was not usually a deterrent, it would work for her. With her dark clothing and large swords mounted on this size difference, she really did seem like someone a person would not normally deal with. Once again, however, she had no clue of such things. She was just a farm girl.

With long strides, she moved through the city at a fairly relaxed gait. Her eyes were insanely aware of her surroundings, falling on every little thing that made a sound or moved within range of her vision. Admittedly, it was too quiet. Were there any shops around that were actually open? Looking around, she realized she must be in a resident's district. Further ahead, not terribly far away, she could see busier streets. It was not wise to be alone, she supposed, so she made those streets her goal. Maybe that was part of the business district or something.

Loch began walking around the shop getting everything in order. With teh way he moved through the rows of goods you would have never guessed he was blind.

Kato reached the busier streets sooner than she had expected. A bit surprised, one could note her wide eyes and risen eyebrows quite clearly. Behind her dark scarf, she bit her lip. It was then that she realized that this city was built to the specifications of people with shorter legs. Back home, standards had been giant-sized. After a moment, she let herself relax. She gained a few stares instantly from those who passed by her - she, who just stood there like an idiot - but she did not give them too much notice. After scanning the new area for a moment, she began to walk again, only to brush the crown of her forehead on a sign. Almost too calmly, she reached up and pushed it out of the way. Then her hands ran across the design carved into it and she had to see what it said.

"What's this now?" She read the text. It seemed she stood outside a small shop for adventurers. Curious. Leaning slightly downward, she tried to see what was inside. Was this place open? Maybe she could get some help.

I have no clue if I'll have an internet connection when I get home from school.
Winds are getting up to 65 mph today, I kid you not.

Loch popped his head out the door to see wht the noise was. "Please tell me my sin didn't fall off again... oh...." he said as he noticed the giant standing in front of him. "Are you lookin to shop?" he asked tilting his head up at her. His eyes were covered by a white strip of cloth to hide his milky white orbs.

Lola looked stopped playing as she a couple of strange men came up and grabbed her earnings for the day, "You stupid gypsy's are not worth anything, this gold belongs to us now." One of men chuckled. Lola just stood up and walked away. Without a word she stumbled upon a giantess. Alot of people were whispering and stareing at her. She was facinated by the tall woman and persued her without any special reason but that she wanted to meet the foreigner. She felt an odd simularity to her.
