When they got into the taxie, Evan leaned his head back against the seat, allowing himself a moment to close his eyes and clear his head. He wasn't the most clever man in the world, and he needed time to think about things before he could actually make up his mind. After a moment, Zach started speaking, so he lifted his head and polietly listened. Nodding, he told the impacient looking driver, "Corner of Thrid and Fith." Wrapping his arm around Zach's shoulders, he smiled softly at the mention of their date. "Well, I'm sure I can whip some fancy, romantic dinner up when we get to my apartment," he replied, kissing his check with a light chuckle. A loud buzzing went off his pocket, telling him that he had a call. Wipping out quickly, he answered with a, "I know, I know. Don't bite my head off, Jess." Evan actually had to move the phone away from his ear so he didn't go deaf from Jessica's screaming. "Relax, relax. Please. You don't need to make me deaf. It's hard to explain, but I can't co- Hold on a second." Holding the phone down low, he asked Zach, "I think they may be waiting for us at both of our places. The best way to avoid them is to be around normal people, or at least, I assume so." After he explained, he called to the driver, "Change of plans. Switch bar on Eighth street, please." It was a few blocks over, but who cared? Returning to Jess, he told her he would be there in a little bit before hanging up.
