"You're runnin' from, all that you said to me,
We fell apart, and then just let it be,
I know... that I don't wanna say goodbye..."
【Raene sipped her coffee, knowing she was late, and screwed. One, Alana would have her head for being late. Two, she had trashed her bike, and she wouldn't be able to get home. Luckily she had crashed close enough to the office. She straightened her hat, and her coat, and began walking. After 5 minutes, she made it to the building. She was officially an hour late. She walked through the double doors, and didn't even have to have security call Alana to let her though. Even though the staff was new, they knew who she was. Well, they knew her persona. Her real name was Raena May Galloway, and she grew up in a tiny town in Michigan. However the world knew her as Raene Myers. She had begun dressing like a boy in her late teens, and being someone else made her more comfortable, and easygoing. For over three years she was that persona, but one little slip up with drugs at a party had made her security blanket lifted up and shoved away. Everyone knew "he" was not a he after all, just a freak who just wanted to be someone else. Raene had always looked boyish, and been flat chested, so it hadn't been so hard to pretend. By straightening her hair, and wearing clothes from the men's department, no one ever took a second glance at her. Her voice was always calm, knowing that if it got to high people would start to question a few things. She got in the elevator, and went up to the highest floor she could, before getting off to take the stairs. She went up to the roof, wanting a smoke. She opened the door to see a tall, dark haired boy with an acoustic. She got out her cigarettes, and took one. She lit it, and walked over. After taking a drag, she sat beside the boy. She didn't say anything, she just sat. 】
"All alone, this world can be so empty,
But what we have, is not an ordinary love,
It's more than just enough..."
