Welcome to Gaia! ::

Cole nodded and pulled out a small notepad and pen, writing everything down that he was told, word for word.
Then added a question mark and the side note to find the remains and have somebody uninvolved with the case look over them.
"thank you. I'll will of course still have to track down the remains, and send them to an expert." He stated with a slight shrug. He turned back to the mayor.
"Now then. If I could have my answers from you. I will be able to leave." He looked at the doctor for a moment. "If I must wait until he is finished to get my answers I am perfectly willing to stay here throughout the examinination. Perhaps it will give me the oppurtunity to speak to his daughter that I was told is here as well, though I assume she is getting something to drink."
The mayor shook his head, "no, my little girl's not here."

"Indeed", said the doctor, "and it would be quite against the law for you to be present for the examination, as it's illegal for you to burst in here."

"And what I was doing at the hotel is... a private matter...", said the mayor, looking a bit red.

Danny's ethereal body floated around in the manifestation of the computer systems. He was looking through agent files reading about himself "Loud mouth? I am not loud." He put his file back and floated around some more "Oh wait what about GL-0, no one wanted to tell me about it and I guess while I'm here I can look for myself."
Cole's eyebrow arched for a moment, letting what he could only assume as a lie about the daughter pass for the moment as he replied to the doctor, not moving his eyes from the mayor.
"Just as it is illegal to not make at least two copies of the reports for offical documentation. But that must have slipped your mind. Certainly I wouldn't want to think that you are actually trying to hamper my investigation."
He pounced on the mayor's statement, writing it in his notepad.
"So you were there on the night of at least one of the murders? Did you see or hear anything out of the ordanary? And I will need her name as well."
"Now see here", said the mayor, suddenly red in the face, "you leave my daughter out of this, yeh hear? Or I'll have you thrown off the force! I've got friends, don't you know!"

The doctor once again cut him off, "you know, for seeming to think there's parallels to some other case, you've really got no details. All the murders occurred at the same time. Midnight two Saturdays ago."

The doctor did not believe Cole in the slightest.
Cole blinked, surprise crossing his face for a moment. Then he went blank again.
"I cannot leave somebody out of an investigation if the facts lead to them. And I would like an answer to my two questions." he turned to the doctor and stared at him for a long moment.
"Did i ever say otherwise?" He asked "I merely asked for the reports. and then when they were unavailable the details in the reports. You seem rather upset about this. Where were you on the night of the murders?"
"If you've got a warrant", said the doctor, "then you know where to find me."

He didn't say much more. The mayor, on the other hand said, "sure fine, play detective with whoever you want, but stay AWAY from my daughter!"

It seemed anger had eased his earlier unsteadiness.
Cole nodded, and wrote into his notebook then turned to the mayor.
"give me a good reason to stay away. As you have just admitted that both you and she were there that makes you both at least possible witnesses." He wrote down the mayor's avoidance of answering the questions and his refusial to allow him to see his daughter before nodding almost to himself.
"If you will excuse me I have to go interview the employees of the hotel. And dr. don't worry. the next time we meet I will make sure to have a warrent." He turned on his heel and walked out, putting his pad and pen back into his pocket.
When he left the building his pulled out his cellphone and dialed a number, asking for a friend that he had made in the sector to pull up the files for both the doctor and the mayor. Then starting to walk away towards the residental section he hung up on them and started to dial another number, beginning to track down the remains of the victims.

Avalon followed the other into the briefing room, he stood at attention by the door, it was a force of habit for him from all the training. His eyes galnce across the room quickly, taking in all the information he could, he was constantly collecting information on anything. 'The wise survive, the stupid become fodder' he thought to himself.

Danny headed farther into the system of the computer all the while leaving things behind for others to find on their desktops later.

He stopped in front of the file he wanted to find.

"Interesting what do we have here...."

"Ah damn it. Oh well, it must not be important."

He heard something outside the system and logged off and looked up. He saw an agent glaring down at him on the floor. "Eheheh. Oops."
//Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
//Come down from your fences, open the gate...

'Come to think of it...what if it just so happens that whatever the hell it is in that room can come up and attack her some more...' Evy remembered. 'Gahh! I'm so torn! What do I do, what do I do...hah. A bad breakup my butt...'

"I..." Evy took a glance at Lena's body. "Alright. But...I do still need to go to my room to get some of our stuff. Just that if she does wake, I can take care of her and all." She finally replied. She could still get some of her equipment and her anxiety medication, something she hadn't used for a while, but had brought for times like these.

The residential district was, for the most part, small and simple, the houses a decent distance apart, but not so far that one neighbor couldn't call to another from their porch. A few had dogs, mostly medium-haired dogs better suited to the wind from the sea, this this area was a bit farther inland than all that.

In the distance were four large mansions, indicating a sizable difference in the quality of life between the citizens. It was also evident that the town was shrinking, by way of the many "For Sale" and "Sold" signs placed noticeably in front of many of the houses. The road was not paved, which was bad, because it seemed this area saw much dew and the ground had become quite squelchy.
Lena had closed her eyes and decided to power off for a bit. She was reaching a very critical level of low battery, with no way to express it.

"Yep, I reckoned yeh had personals tah bring. I'll wait in the truck with yer friend."

Then he looked at the bellboy, "yeh up to it, Danny?"

Danny, the bellboy, nodded, "yes sir. Right away", and got to work bringing Lena outside.
Cole walked through the area, looking for the address of the man that had been at the desk the day of the murders. Finally finding it he frowned to see a dog in front of the yard, just staring up at him, looking like it was trying to bark or not.
He took one last glance at the mansions, making a mental note to go up to those, as well as see why the town had begun to shrink as it had. Surely it could not be only because of the deaths in the hotel. He stared down at the dog for a moment, then opened the gate. As soon as he stepped into the yard the animal started barking.
"Should have brought Spinner." he muttered to himself, walking up to the door, taking a moment at the steps to knock most of the muck from his boots before ringing the bell.

The room was much the same as all the meeting halls, bare walls, two fake plants, ceiling panel lights, and a round table.

Jin sat at the head of it, kicking his feet onto the top and pulling the file from his jacket.

"So... What we're doing's pretty simple. We're just having you walk into a werewolf den, find out where the leader is hiding, and then the both of us capture, the b*****d, get the information we need, then eliminate all evidence", Jin said, shooting Avalon a sideways glance, to judge his reaction. He had one hand in his coat, fingering the trigger of a small, but quite powerful little custom made six-shooter, each bullet containing enough silver and silver nitrate to poison anything living.
