Cole ignored the door shutting by itself, used to such things from having worked here. That and the fact that he could turn iron into liquid just by touch. He caught the file and opened it, skimming through it for a moment before turning back to Mr. Town.
"Sounds like a ghost." He observed after a moment, adding mental that it also sounded like half of the stories that he had heard as a kid.
He sighed softly learning that they would be having problems with the local authorities. Lord save him from people with too much pride and not enough common sense.
"When do we leave?" He asked after a moment.

She gazed down at the paper, quickly scanning it's contents before turning her attention back up to the man before them. "Oh, this is just great." Not only did they have to go to the place and search for the creature, but they had hardly any evidence to go on. Shion resumed her position, and her eyes narrowed. Hopefully this wouldn't bore the heck out of her. The last time she had gone on a similar mission, the target was all too easy to track down.

.::Mr. Town::.
Untiring Sentinel

"You can leave immediately. The sooner the better. G1 will be waiting for you in the back of van #312. Don't worry about arming, the van's been supplied with everything you might need, from wooden stakes to land mines."

He took a sip of his steaming coffee.

"You should investigate the mayor as well. Since this incident has begun, there have been reports of... semi-erratic behavior by his staff."

Putting down his coffee, and slipping his sunglasses back on he waved the door open, "dismissed."

Cole nodded, almost absentmindly. Glad to leave that they would be leaving immediately, never one to wait around. He frowned for a moment, learning about the mayor. It never rains but it pours.
turning around he walked out, holding the door open for Shion before walking down the hall, stopping first at his room and picking up a small pack. It held a change of clothing, and some pieces of metal for whatever he might need them for as well as one or two other things that never seemed to be put in with the equipment but he had always found to come in useful.
Locking the door he walked out into the garage towards the waiting van, arranging the neighbor's teenager to take care of Spinner while he was gone. He hung up and then nodded at G1, shutting the file.
"Do you need to read this?" Indicating the file.

.::Agent Lena 3sG1::.
Undead Hunter

Print Readout: Agent Cole Reed, ally. Absent: Agent Shion

Suggested Action: Wait and banter.

"Huh? Naw", she said with a listless sort of bored expression, leaning carelessly against the van, "I heard everything and read that thing already."

She tapped on her head, indicating her internal radio, directly linked to Mr. Town. She looked appraisingly at Cole, "what is this, like your second mission or something?"

She pulled a gun immediately, leveled at Cole and mocked shooting at him, "Kapow kapow."

She grinned and opened the back of the van. Inside there was a battery charger for Lena (or G1, as she's often known), One wall of small munitions, mostly silenced and short range, a sniper-rifle, a chain-gun, a rail-gun, a rocket launcher, some landmines, and a few unusual looking devices called "proton packs" used to destabilize ectoplasmic entities, psychic mimics, or otherwise ephemeral beings. Lena sat on the edge of the van, her legs dangling over the edge.

Cole nodded and tucked the file away to give to Shion once she arrived. His eyebrow arched for a moment then shook his head.
"Third for the agency. Just enough to no longer be called a rookie, not enough to be considered a vetern. I suppose it makes me an Intern." His eyebrow rose again as she mocked shot him.
"Is that what you are going to do if I do not bring the coffee?" He asked then looked inside of the van, placing his small pack out of the way to the side.
"If these are yours i have a cousin in the marines who would want to meet you." he tilted his head to the side, "And perhaps marry you."

"Hah! I wish these were mine... they belong to the agency. No, my babies these", she pulled out a second giant silver revolver. The two guns seemed quite oversized, especially in the hands of Lena, the small agent with glowing red eyes.

"I love revolvers. Old design, never jam, strong as hell", she flipped them both back into her suit, where they seemed to disappear, despite their rather large size, presumably stored somewhere in her chassis.

"I got those, and this...", she reached behind her and unsheathed a shortened katana, something between a full sized blade and a wakizashi. She swung it around a bit, smiling. If the higher ups were authorizing a van full of weapons, then maybe whatever they were "investigating" would be a little fun. In her mind, images of glorious explosions abound, with the disembodied heads of werewolves and zombies raining from the sky.

But all the cool missions like that were usually given to Rogue, not Sentinel.

.::Thomas 3sG2::.
Superior Design

Elsewhere in the compound, Tom sat coolly around the central hub, an area where each of the different sections of the compound form a nexus point. In life, Tom had little to do but watch, wait, and think. He was rarely outside the compound as his presence was closely monitored by those that would wish to destroy Sector 8.

No, when he wasn't on a mission, people watching was about all there was to do. Games were pointless when there was no way to lose, books took up milliseconds, so it was something of a relief when Tom received a transmission from Mr. Town. It seemed there had been a sighting of target GL-0, and Tom was to deal with it immediately, this time in Toronto.

She ran quickly down the halls as she mentally berated herself. When gathering all her needed items - some of her own weapons (more like ones she'd taken off her brother) and other necessities - she'd gotten distracted. However, as she made her way outside, she was happy to see that the indicted van hadn't left her behind. She adjusted the small pack on her back before making her way towards where they were supposed to meet.

"Ug... Sorry for making you wait," Shion said as she too jumped into the vehicle. "Did I miss anything?" She blinked, looking from Cole to the other new person. "I guess you're 3sG1?"

Lena raised an eyebrow at the new girl, "It's Lena. LEEEENA. Rookies... No, you haven't missed anything. You're... Shion, right? Good you got here. We've got a lot of road to cover. Who's driving?"

Lena never drove the van. She usually stayed in the back, keeping all charged up. Why waste energy if you don't have to? Besides, being in the charger meant she wouldn't have to take up a seat, AND she'd be able to link up directly to the on-board computer.

Cole rolled his eyes as he got into the driver's seat.
"She can drive on the way back. And if you had told us your name then we would have refered to you as such." he glanced at Shion for a moment, waiting for her to get into the truck as he put on his seat belt and started the engine.

Moving towards the front, Shion got inside and buckled up. This was an odd crowd she was traveling with. One a chipper agent while the other seemed ready to head out to work. They looked normal, though she knew that Section 8 didn't just recruit anyone. "We'll get it right from now on Lena." Lena herself puzzled her. She looked so innocent and young. However, looks could be deceiving. And Cole seemed pretty normal too. Though, he seemed eager to do the job. Once buckled in, Shion placed her elbow on the window and rested her cheek in the palm of her hand. "Let's just get the ride over with, right?"

She jumped into the back and plugged herself in, her chassis seeming to go offline, as it stood within the charge tube. It was a strange sensation to be a part of some other machine, and Lena couldn't say she really cared for it.

Lena's voice boomed out of the van's speakers to the two in the front seat, a little fuzzy, "So tell me what kind of experience you guys have."

Pulling out Cole nodded and entered the streets, keeping an eye on the traffic more than paying attention to them. But he still answered Lena's question, glancing over his shoulder as he switched lanes. Completely unbothered to hear her voice come through the speakers.
"Three years in the army. Almost a year with the agency. And could you turn down the volume the next time you do that? It is somewhat distracting."

"Pretty tight-lipped, aren't you", asked Lena, chiding, her volume lowered a bit, "come on, EVERYONE has SOME kind of story. You wouldn't be here otherwise. Besides, I gotta know who I'm dealing with, don't I? For all I know, you guys could be a couple of screw-ups!"
