the keeper walked over to Destiny's limp form on the floor and lifted her to a table that would be used to read at. opening his lips and jaw he sank his fangs gently into the soft skin on her shoulder where it met her neck. it takes less than a pound, and a normal human bite can be as much as 160lbs. her sweet blood wet his throat and bathed his tongue in delight. he drank, but not to excess. even though he was technically a fledgeling, his many years had already taught him restraint.
