Chloe couldn't help but laugh as the floor board slammed him in the face. It was just her first reaction. She put herself back together and looked at the door. If he could leave, why couldn't she? What made her so different then them? And what hell was he talking about? Chloe wasn't planning on staying there, not with them. She had a life she had to get back to, she had made plans. "I'm going to find a way out...if it kills me then so be it.." Chloe said under her breath. She stood up, tearing off the bandage. She didn't care anymore about her health. If she didn't leave she would go insane. She hated being trapped, that feeling unnerved her. Again her hand touched the door. To her surpise it opened. The slayer in her did make her completely human, the house was not accustomed it seemed to keeping her in. Still, it was false hope, she was still human enough. As soon as she went to step out, the door slammed in her face. Still, it was different, she had opened the door. No one that was human had done that so it seemed. Her eyes followed the young man named James, the poor kid looked like a ghost.
Pyro Bassist
James stared at the blood and then realized that he was being adressed. A cute girl with snow white hair was curtsying and introducing herself as Sanaa. "Hullo," James said sheepishly, "How do you do?" As he spoke, James attempted to bow, but he went too low and fell over.

Till the current ends and dips his wing
In the orange suns rays

Sanaa continued to smile, the heat radiating from her pearly whites could roast marshmallows. Mmm, marshmallows. Something about him was just...comforting. She felt like they were connected, like twins separated at birth, although she and Johnathan looked the part.

"Very well, thank you. And you? How do you fare?" She had asked the moment before he toppled over. Feeling guilty, she rushed to his side, hand over her mouth.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! Are you alright?" She asked worriedly, wanting to help him up. Something wouldn't let her though; she just couldn't. Her gut feeling advised against it.

She was startled to see another man enter the room. When would it end? She was starting to feel uncomfortable again, and it took all her strength to prevent herself from hopping around. She was just so antsy.

Nicholai seemed unfazed by Razvan's shooting; although, in reality he was starting to get pissed off. His fist clenched as he glared at the vampire walking down the hall. Noticing how he had instinctively stepped between him and Chloe, Nicholai tried to play it off as an attempt to get James to come out of hiding. He walked, virtually silent, to where the revanent hid,"You can come out now." he said in a calming tone.

((how is a tristan revanent gonna be scared of a regular vampire?))
Johnathan smiled merrily to himself as he answered Arcadia's question. "Nice to meet you, Arcadia. Well, for this to make any sense, first you need to know that the house is alive. Magical." Johnathan looked in Arcadia's beautiful eyes and continued, "I know that sounds crazy, but it's true. One of the newer tenants of this wonderful mansion, named Razvan, doesn't get along with her well. I'd guess that he just shot her somewhere, probably a door or a wall." They had reached the foyer when he finished explaining, and he pointed to the floor as it fixed itself. "See, there. He shot the floor." Johnathan looked up at Nicholai with an inquiring look on his face. "I thought you went to get some milk, Niko," he stated matter of factly.
Nicholai glanced down at his jacket making sure the bloodstains were gone,"I...got...thirsty on the way back?" he reached down and picked up the bandage that Chloe had ripped off. He turned around, hopefully without anyone seeing him, pressed it to his face, and inhaled deeply. Turning back around he slid the blood soaked bandage into his coat pocket. "Anyway...the population of the village has grown to an exceeding level. I was merely...preventing crime by thinning numbers."
James grabbed the leg of the nearest girl to him. It just happened to be Sanaa. His bloodshot eyes widened, and he wrapped himself around her leg. "The walls are melting!" He yelped, convinced that this was true, despite the obvious fact that it wasn't.

((He's tripping. Anyone mean scares him. He's just like a little kid. For now.))
Arcadia blinked as their eyes met and she smiled slightly and lifted a hand and brushed a lock of hair behind her ear. She blinked once again as he told her the house was "alive", of course it sounded crazy and she was about to say so she saw the hole in the ground heal up and she gasped. "Okay... so that is really really werid." she admitted and moved a bit closer to Johnathan and away from the wall as well.
Johnathan merely shook his head at Nicholai's reply. "Hmph. Whatever. Why did Razvan shoot the house this time?"

Johnathan instinctively put an arm around Arcadia's shoulder as she stepped toward him. "Dont worry about the house, she won't bother you. James is relatively harmless unless you anger him. Niko, well, Nicholai is Nicholai; he's a little fight happy. I'll handle him if he gets out of hand. You don't have to worry about a thing, Arcadia."

Sanaa listened to Nicholai speak with great interest, her heart thudding when he mentioned "thinning numbers". Everything sounded so familiar, so normal, so odd...Little bits and pieces of things were putting themselves together slowly, and she just couldn't wait to see the bigger picture.

"Ho, so that's it." She muttered to herself, smiling. If only she was surrounded by trees; she could identify each one by its smell. That would be a fun way to pass the time. It was then she felt a heavy weight fasten itself to her leg, and she laughed in a motherly way.

"Everything is fine, I promise...See? The walls are sturdy, never changing. They set life's guiding lines, it's impossible for them to move, let alone melt; if they did, the whole fabric of time and space would be distorted. Everything is as it should be." She knocked on one of the walls with a steady fist, and looked at James with caring eyes. When Nicholai commented, however, her face set itself sternly and she gave him a challenging look. ((Not James, Nicholai.))

"Oh, and I apologize for demonstrating my theory physically." She smiled warmly, speaking to the house.

((Aww, how cute. Umm, silly question, but does inebriation come in to play?))

Nicholai sighed at James' drug induced trip,"Yes and the ceiling's talking to me. It says that it's raining music notes." he said wishing to play with the revanents now fragile mind.

((call me once the drugs are done...))
It was almost as if she was begging the house to let her go, as if she were at it's mercy, not the men that dwelled there. Her eyes went to where she had thrown her bandage, it was not there. "What?..." Chloe simply thought that someone had taken it, mainly the house had taken it since it seemed so magical. She got sick to her stomach as things began to get more real. It was not fair, she had never harmed anyone, why was she stuck there? Her only hope was the mysterious Nicholai who seemed stranger and more intriguing by the minute. She refused to beg him through, she had pride. Chloe felt like a girl who just found out Santa wasn't real. her world was crumbling as she knew it. Everything that was not real was and it was...terrible feeling that way.
"Don't toy with me," James whined, "It's telling me that you're a loser who doesn't understand it's needs."

((I feel like dying, I feel like dying))
Nicholai cocked his head to his right shoulder as he looked at James,"It also says that me and you and a lighter need some alonetime." He looked back at Chloe, making no attempt to hide the pity in his eyes.

((I am sitting on the clouds i got smoke coming from my seat...))

Sanaa sighed and pushed her imaginary glasses up, feeling like an overworked babysitter. Petty little arguments annoyed her; they were so unnecessary, and all they caused was trouble.

"Hmm..." She was deep in thought, trying to forget about her surroundings. Now, she was in the forest, walking along a hiking trail, trail mix in one hand, walking stick in the other. The smell of sugar pine was everywhere; perfect, light weight sugar pine. The sound of the forest was mystical, birds chirping, brush stirring...She was cured.

"Ack, why'd I have to come back?" She whined, as Nicholai's voice cut through her fantasy.

"A lighter?" Razvan seemed to have appeared from no where. "I can supply that." He pulled out possibly the biggest zippo ever. "Made it myself, just for you James." As usual, evil grin, marked with cruel mischief.
