A free bird leaps on the back
Of the wind and floats downstream
Till the current ends and dips his wing
In the orange suns rays
And dares to claim the sky

"Hum...It's so strange, isn't it? Finding a place like this in the middle of an ancient forest...It's pure mystery, just what I need!" Sanaa whispered to herself brightly, deciding to strap her equipment back onto her back; now her arms were starting to ache. With a nod and the fluidity of an expert, she whipped a small field guide out of her pocket, easily flipping to the page she needed. Her questions answered, she stored the book back in it's place and continued gazing at the mansion.

"I wonder...If I could just...Maybe like...? No, that wouldn't be good; nope, not one bit. I can't just waltz in. Knocking is the only way to go, yep!" Sanaa reinforced herself and, not needing to muster up any courage, knocked on the door before her.

Hearing no reply, Arcadia glanced back to the door she had just walked in from and sighed softly, Ramona had said she was coming to the mansion so she had to be somewhere here already. The house was certainly big enough for the other girl not to hear her. Walking in further she breathed in deeply, the mansion was cetrainly very warm and would be a good place to sleep until they could call for help. Moving down the darkened hallway slowly she felt as if someone was watching her and she glanced around and shook her head. "Just your imagination." she whispered to herself.

Turning to see an unfamiliar girl with unusual bright yellow eyes and white hair, Ramona's facial expression wasn't surprised to see her. She simply thought that she neer met her from the boarding school, or at least up until this point. Yeah, just that I never met her before. That's all.

"Hey you! Drop that gun!" she yelled out suddenly. This made the brunette a bit confused- what gun? All she had for weapons were two draggers, unforunetly if she got attacked, no firearms from her pockets or a place easy to acess will be there, unlss someon just handed it to her.

"I don't have any guns... But I like your eyes. Are they naturally that color or contacts?" Her last two sentences are really true to what she was saying to the girl in the red hoodie; she wasn't teeling a lie.

Chloe found her way through the forest, bleeding from her right arm she cursed under her breath. She ripped the end off her shirt and tied it around the wound, it would at least help keep the infection away. The worse thing about it was that it burned, worse than anything she had felt before. She didn't see any of her classmates and she knew her teacher and the pilot were dead. Quietly she made it though the forest, she was aware how dangerous it was.

It wasn't until she found the mansion that her heart raced. There was hope, some kind of humanity lived here, or so it seemed. She knocked on the door but it slid open with just a touch. Who lived here? Would they help her or would they send her away?

"Hello?" She questioned.

James was frustrated by all of the noise going on in the mansion. It was freaking him out. He couldn't quite remember why though. He decided to investigate. James staggered down the hall, looking for where all of this noise was coming from. He fell over a banister and landed on his back in the entrance hall. "Who put that there?" James said to himself. He looked around and saw pretty girls. Suddenly there was a knock at the door, so he got up and staggered towards it as it opened up.

Nicholai walked briskly back through the woods. He tried desperately to clean the blood off of his jacket without smearing it to much. If Jonathan saw the crimson liquid he would flip out, again and that was something Nicholai would rather not listen to. He opened the massive front door to the mansion as he licked the blood from his fingers. With his thumb hanging in his mouth he stared at Chloe awkwardly,"Hello?" he said hesitantly,"Who are you?"

Chloe spun around quickly, taking several steps back. Her eyes looked them both over, wondering if they a threat or just being friendly. The one with blood on his hands seemed like a threat, the other not so much. "I...I " she was forced to study before she could find words. "Our plane crashed...I do not know where I am..." she said. It gave some information, but not all. Chloe had to be careful of what she said.

“Who put that there?!” Rammi turned to see another male with beyond human looks as he tripped over a piece of furniture. He started to worry her already, though it seemed like he just randomly fell over. Maybe clumsy is part of his personality, but it seemed right now that he just tripped.

Is he ok? she thought to herself as she saw the male stagger to the door to open it. It seemed like he was struggling just to open it, so she wanted to help him somehow. After all, he seemed to be one of the hosts “I’ll get it for you.” she chirped sweetly.

Leaving the bright yellow eyed female with the vampire, her flip flops made noises as she walked toward the large doors. She opened the door to see one of her classmates with brown curly hair grasping her arm, which was bleeding. “Chloe! Are you ok from that plane crash!?” she recognized her acquaintance fairly easily, mostly since she was known for looking older then she really is. They were so-so with each other while they were at school.

Looking at the male she was talking too, demonic looking eyes stared at her. Black hair was up to his shoulders, making him look a little feminine. Unlike most boys though, he didn’t have bangs. He looked pretty ok to her, though the black clothes he was wearing made him look better then in other colors. Chloe didn’t seem to know him, which made a conclusion that he was another host of the house.

“You both come in!” she gestured the two to come inside, as if nothing was wrong.

By the way, I'm Asian.
Mellow Marshmellows
Johnathan quickly moved around the corner of the hallway in front of the girl. He came out of his shadows and leaned against the wall, waiting for Arcadia. "Hmmm... James is never too violent, but Nicholai might harm the others..." he muttered to himself. "Perhaps leaving her alone wasn't such a good idea. And where did Nicholai go anyways? Hmmm..."

Johnathan quickly drank another of his rabbit's blood vials to reduce his visible qualities and his ever increasing bloodlust. He was down to two vials now, but his eyes dulled to a more natural brown color than his usual gold, and his fangs shrunk to a size passable for a normal human, though still sharp. -Hopefully, the girl didn't see me drink that.- He thought.

Sanaa smiled warmly when she saw another girl her age, and, with her voice smooth and cheery, she replied, "Oh? Thanks! Unfortunately, they're only contacts...I wish my eyes were such a bright yellow. These contacts totally reflect my personality. Oh my gosh! I just realized something totally important!"

Sanaa watched as the girl walked on, but decided to stay in her place. She was a bit startled when more people started to show up, though; she'd never been really social. Suddenly, her demeanor changed; instead of bright, she was now very, very shy. Looking down at the floor, she took a step back, into the shadows. Old feelings were stirring; how would these people treat her?

"H...H..Hello...My...Plane crash? Is everyone okay? It...It seems as though there are a lot of..." She muttered weakly, confused and depressed. She'd just noticed a young man in the room with her. His eyes - weren't they just yellow? And his hair, it was a blinding white. They looked alike. She smiled, curious again.

"Oh, how interesting!" She cried, covering her mouth with embarrassment.

"Plane crash...okay. Sounds like you could use some help." said Nicholai trying to put on an air of hospitality. His eyes crawled from the girl's face to the thick makeshift bandage she had around her arm. He forced his eyes back to her face, suppressing his bloodlust. He smiled quickly and then it vanished as if it were never there,"Are you hurt?" he asked,"Excuse me. Where are my manners? My name's Nicholai." he said extending his hand.

Sanaa watched with an expression of mild surprise as the man named Nicholai reached to shake the girl's hand. Something was off about him, there was something that screamed mountain lion in him. She just couldn't put her finger on it though. After thinking about the situation, Sanaa nodded, and, her voice back to its usual bright and cheery level, she smiled at the girl once more, nodding again.

"I know it doesn't matter much in the long run, miss, but I'm Sanaa. Just thought I would get it off my chest." She winked and looked between Nicholai and the other boy she noticed, comparing and contrasting their appearances, or at least, she was mentally. Her eyes were closed, and she was busy humming to herself. A chill had just run down her spine, and she hated when that happened. The tune she was thinking of was warm and inviting, it melted away the chill.

I am the voice of your hunger and pain, I am the voice that always is calling you, I am the voice, and I will remain...

Arcadia crossed her harmsin front of her and ran her hands up and down her arms wanting to bring warmth to her limbs. The mansion was quite chilly and she swore she could almost see her own breath. It seems way to quiet for the other girls to be in here. she thought to herself as she rounded a corner and glanced over her shoulder. This caused her to almost run into a man who was standing in the hallway. "Oh!" she gasped catching herself before running into him, however she stopped herself too quickly and lost her balance and started to fall back.

Chloe still took a step back, eyeing him with caution. "I think most of us are okay, she said looking at Rammi and the others. They didn't have apparent life threatening injuries. There was something cold about him, different. He smelled different too, almost earthy, not dirty though. "I guess what I am trying to say...can you get us back home?" That was the first question. If they got back home, everything could be turned back to normal. It was also a test, if they were actually on their side or not. Not, they would keep them there. "And the name is Chloe..nice to meet you.." she added at the end.

Show me how to lie,
You're getting better all the time.
Nicholai saw the Chloe's hesitation and retracted his hand letting it fall by his side,"Im going to be very blunt with my answer, and you're not going to like it but it must be said." He paused letting this fact sink in before he explained,"A mortal cannot leave this forest. You will only be sent back here. To the mansion I mean. Im sorry." There was something about this girl's blood that made him stop talking. He stared at the bandage more intently now. He knew that if he didn't keep feeding on the village this girl would most definitely become a target. His tongue teased his fangs as he stared at the blood soaked cloth.
