Magnolia | Rae Lynne | Thericho

Let the Night begin.Fight. Fight. Fight.
Magnolia stood upright and proper before Bane, her perfectly arched back had a sensual curve that gave her profile the lovely shape of an S. It was in her nature to have a relaxed but flawless posture, this was something that had prevailed in her long before she was turned into a new creature. This trait had been one of the main attractive qualities to her beauty, back in her human years many of the women allowed their backs to sag. Whether it be from the weight of a womb full of child or from cowering from a strong willed father, their backs swayed. Maggie, however, was fortunate enough to be born defiant and fiery, no one would cause her to cower, strong willed or not. Standing up straight, with her chin held high, had become a statement to the young Magnolia, it easily said what she'd have been slapped for turning into words. I belong to no one but myself and you have no authority here. At least in her minds eye that statement vibrated through her skull in her human years. The fact of her posture now was mostly habit, her relationship with Bane was not one of being owned or authoratative, it was more a friendship than anything else. It was a family loyalty, so with the change of Venue came a new meaning for this arched back: respect.
Now after meaningless babble....
I continue!
The blonde haired creature clasped her hands comfortably behind her petite waist, this was also a hard broken habit. Her porcelain colored skin felt soft beneath her own digits, yet she new inside that if a human were to press against her they'd permanently associate her with a well carved block of marble. Which was the closest analogy of what they were physically, Maggie could go to a museum if she chose and stand perfectly still on a pedastol, they'd believe her to be a Renaissance statue, David's Wife. This thought pulled an infectious and throaty chuckle from her shapely lips, her vocal chords had always produced the most lovely of sounds, hoarse to the point of being seductive and resonant in a husky way. It was her voice that convinced young men to run into her arms under a moonless sky. It was her voice that entranced them into offering their necks.
Bane's own harmonious voice pulled Maggie's icy blue eyes to attention, her mind had been wandering and it was time to be more attentative. She listened with a casual ease to the syllables and consonants forming in the front of the woman's mouth, speech had always been something that she found interesting, watching it in action anyways. When Bane finished speaking Maggie took it in her to step forward, "I too feel that this night will be enterprising, the children of this generation do indeed seem different, they are bolder than their parents. An exciting flaw indeed." With the thought a challenge Maggie's thick pearly white fangs pushed out even further beneath her velvety lips, her smile curled into a cruel grin. Then Bane continued, with the news of arrival.
Welcome back.
and Good Luck...
Maggie's fangs remained protruded but her smile lost is blood lustrous quality, as soon as Bane had mentioned Kalypso her mind had innately expanded. It spread itself out as far as Maggie could push until she located the presence of Bane's sister, the young bodied woman was not exactly difficult to find. Even her aura screamed for attention, it was like a hot spot to a heat seeking missile. Once honed in on the fast moving creature Maggie patiently focused, her eyes closing for a split second to better aim her unique power, unfelt by any of her subjects of interest. From Bane's personal body guard she felt pure excitement and a homesickness that felt like a stake to the abdomen for Maggie. Well at least the woman was returning to the mansion in a good spirits. Just because Kalypso was not Magnolia's favorite it did not mean that the creature did not at least respect her. "Yes it is good to know that our own are safe." Maggie agreed honestly enough, she'd still kill for Kalypso, they were bonded by family after all.
When Bane moved on to ask about her own morning Maggie felt the warmth of ecstacy flush through her body. She'd followed her usualy morning routine of stripping nude and racing throughout the forest surrounding the manor. No one in her family nor of the other vampires she'd met could match her speed, it was one of her most enjoyed past times. She'd layed in the damp grass and played with her own mind, it had been lovely, it would always be the most lovely part of her day. "It was extraordinary as always. My mind is expanding with every hour Bane. It is growing every day." Magnolia lowered her soft voice so that Bane would only hear her response, her powers were not something she discussed with everyone. Think of it as a General speaking with the Emperor. Her powers had grown significantly over the past decade but Maggie was dedicated to them. She had accepted the ability as a gift to her pysche and treated it like a muscle that required work. The creature treated it as a weapon that needed to be trained with. And she trained every day, all throughout the day. Just expanding and letting the thoughts and feelings of others drift into her invisible web. It was pleasant enough.
Milky Maggie
Perfect like Porcelain.
Magnolia had ran long dexterous fingers through her elegantly fashioned curls before turning her head slightly to the door. The next instant her crystal blue eyes were seeing Kalypso burst forth from the night outside.

is that a warrior takes everything as a challenge
while an ordinary creature takes everything either as a blessing or a curse."

Thoughts drifted through his always full mind, giving him a distracted appearance. Bren hadn't been out in a while... Well, it had been a while for his tastes. The last time he'd ventured outside and off the property was in the summer. It had been warm, and the moon was bright, luminescing his ivory skin. It was just a long walk through town at about three in the morning. No humans were out, and it had been a while before he returned. That was a habit of his, wandering off the grounds for short periods of time. Tonight, no tomorrow night, was Halloween. It was the perfect night to walk about with his fangs gleaming in that way that made humans turn to look twice as he walked past. It was the perfect night for him to do what he pleased, within reason. He didn't want Master upset with him for being ostentatious.
