User ImageLet the Night begin.
Fight. Fight. Fight.

Magnolia stood upright and proper before Bane, her perfectly arched back had a sensual curve that gave her profile the lovely shape of an S. It was in her nature to have a relaxed but flawless posture, this was something that had prevailed in her long before she was turned into a new creature. This trait had been one of the main attractive qualities to her beauty, back in her human years many of the women allowed their backs to sag. Whether it be from the weight of a womb full of child or from cowering from a strong willed father, their backs swayed. Maggie, however, was fortunate enough to be born defiant and fiery, no one would cause her to cower, strong willed or not. Standing up straight, with her chin held high, had become a statement to the young Magnolia, it easily said what she'd have been slapped for turning into words. I belong to no one but myself and you have no authority here. At least in her minds eye that statement vibrated through her skull in her human years. The fact of her posture now was mostly habit, her relationship with Bane was not one of being owned or authoratative, it was more a friendship than anything else. It was a family loyalty, so with the change of Venue came a new meaning for this arched back: respect.

Now after meaningless babble....
I continue!

The blonde haired creature clasped her hands comfortably behind her petite waist, this was also a hard broken habit. Her porcelain colored skin felt soft beneath her own digits, yet she new inside that if a human were to press against her they'd permanently associate her with a well carved block of marble. Which was the closest analogy of what they were physically, Maggie could go to a museum if she chose and stand perfectly still on a pedastol, they'd believe her to be a Renaissance statue, David's Wife. This thought pulled an infectious and throaty chuckle from her shapely lips, her vocal chords had always produced the most lovely of sounds, hoarse to the point of being seductive and resonant in a husky way. It was her voice that convinced young men to run into her arms under a moonless sky. It was her voice that entranced them into offering their necks.

Bane's own harmonious voice pulled Maggie's icy blue eyes to attention, her mind had been wandering and it was time to be more attentative. She listened with a casual ease to the syllables and consonants forming in the front of the woman's mouth, speech had always been something that she found interesting, watching it in action anyways. When Bane finished speaking Maggie took it in her to step forward, "I too feel that this night will be enterprising, the children of this generation do indeed seem different, they are bolder than their parents. An exciting flaw indeed." With the thought a challenge Maggie's thick pearly white fangs pushed out even further beneath her velvety lips, her smile curled into a cruel grin. Then Bane continued, with the news of arrival.

Welcome back.
and Good Luck...

Maggie's fangs remained protruded but her smile lost is blood lustrous quality, as soon as Bane had mentioned Kalypso her mind had innately expanded. It spread itself out as far as Maggie could push until she located the presence of Bane's sister, the young bodied woman was not exactly difficult to find. Even her aura screamed for attention, it was like a hot spot to a heat seeking missile. Once honed in on the fast moving creature Maggie patiently focused, her eyes closing for a split second to better aim her unique power, unfelt by any of her subjects of interest. From Bane's personal body guard she felt pure excitement and a homesickness that felt like a stake to the abdomen for Maggie. Well at least the woman was returning to the mansion in a good spirits. Just because Kalypso was not Magnolia's favorite it did not mean that the creature did not at least respect her. "Yes it is good to know that our own are safe." Maggie agreed honestly enough, she'd still kill for Kalypso, they were bonded by family after all.

When Bane moved on to ask about her own morning Maggie felt the warmth of ecstacy flush through her body. She'd followed her usualy morning routine of stripping nude and racing throughout the forest surrounding the manor. No one in her family nor of the other vampires she'd met could match her speed, it was one of her most enjoyed past times. She'd layed in the damp grass and played with her own mind, it had been lovely, it would always be the most lovely part of her day. "It was extraordinary as always. My mind is expanding with every hour Bane. It is growing every day." Magnolia lowered her soft voice so that Bane would only hear her response, her powers were not something she discussed with everyone. Think of it as a General speaking with the Emperor. Her powers had grown significantly over the past decade but Maggie was dedicated to them. She had accepted the ability as a gift to her pysche and treated it like a muscle that required work. The creature treated it as a weapon that needed to be trained with. And she trained every day, all throughout the day. Just expanding and letting the thoughts and feelings of others drift into her invisible web. It was pleasant enough.

Milky Maggie
Perfect like Porcelain.

Magnolia had ran long dexterous fingers through her elegantly fashioned curls before turning her head slightly to the door. The next instant her crystal blue eyes were seeing Kalypso burst forth from the night outside.

Standing outside, the doors open behind her and a wind moving around the whole house caused an erry feel that Bane loved. It was as if earth was preparing for the night ahead of it, a night where all vampiers go nuts and murder, feed, until they feel like their bodies can hold no other liquid. Her long dark hair moved within the wind, a sound, clear as day catches her ears. 'Catch me if you can!' It was the voice of her Sister. A sigh of relife escaped though her lips. Now that she was in hearing distance, she could go inside. Worrying no more over something that neededn't be worried over. Bane never liked to worry, it was an ungly emotion, almost as horrid as hate. She sighed and started to turn to go back inside and let her sister come to her. The relife she felt started to turn her lips up inot a smal smile..The relife didn't last that long. She looked up from her smile, the smile not leaving, when her daughter Elizabeth started to freeze up and instantly, Bane knew that her daughter was seeing something. Whenever this happened, her scents changed as her emotions changed. She could almost see the worry that rolled off of her. Bane chose not to say anything. Her daughter gave a bow, and Bnae nodded her head in return, sending her daughter off with a small, personal, wave of peace. Be safe my sweet one. So her daughter wouldn't worry her head to much, over something that shouldn't be worried about.

She entered into her home more now, the doors behind her shutting automaticly. Her red dress flowing with her body nicely and moving with her walking. The tattoo's that lined her back, moved as she forced them to, now simply moving around her arm in a small trabil looking band around the upper right arm. And a bit on her left hand, looking more like a black henna then anything. She walked, away from the fireplace, and to her little, but eligent throne. She looked to each of her daughters in turn, before reaching for her little key and taking out one of her most valuable bottles of blood, it was the largest, but still held the most value out of all the blood within the house. "Please, everyone get a glass. I feel like celibrating." In truth, there was no reason, on sure, her belived Sister was returing to her, but she was sure she would have felt like celibrating ither way. She placed the bottel on the table next to her throne before she sat herself down, and then pour the liquid into her own glass, and into her Sister's glass, then then held it out for everyone to take part in. Crossing her leggs she smiled to her family. She loved them so much.

She looked up when her adopted daughter, Magnolia, came up to her and started to speak to her. A warm smile on her face as always. She had said she was worried about the trange emotions from the children of today in in the town. They are much different then their four fathers. More aware of the dangers then the newer hearts of today. It worried her slightly, but brought her daughters more excited for their ignorance. She looked over when her daughter's emotion's wavered for a moment, but it wasn't something new for her. Bane's smile only was warmer. She let out a small chuckel after Maggie spoke again. "Yes, it brings me much joy to know that my family will be whole again." A smal sigh of joy escaped from her when Maggie said her gifts were growing. "This brings me much joy too my sweetling. Knowing that your mind of expanding tells me that you are growing quickly. My daughter you are a wonder to have." Her voice was small as her hand went up to touch her daughter's face. Passing on a warm embrace with a simple touch. Her soft hand, well, soft to her, toughing the equally soft face of Magnolia.

A small sivere ran down her spin as she felt the presents and joyest emotions that flowed from her sister. She looked upwardsm hearing her daughter's return to home, Just in time. She smiled up to Maggie and pulled her daugther's head down to kiss the top of her head before releasing her. "I'm so proud of you my sweetling." She spoke softly before setting down her cup before stading just moment's before she heard her sister's feet on the first step. "She is here." She spoke loud enough for the household to hear her. She took two steps infront of her throne just moment's before Kalypso entered into her home, the way she always entered, dramaticly. Bane didn't mide this much anymore, just as long as her sister was home safe and sound. Her arms found themself opening up even before her sister could completley enter inside. Welcoming her home with opne arms. When she felt Kalypso's arms around her, her won wrapped their way tightly, around the body of her first and beloved companion. If she could cry, she would have. It was so nive to have her sister home. And it showed too, the air in teh house started to fill with roses and lavender, a peaceful loving scent. Petting her sister's long hair softly, a larger smile crossed her face when she felt Kal teking in a deep breath, it tingeled against her own skin. Even when Kal pulled away, she kept her hands firmly upon the vampier's shoulders. Listening to the news was a good thing. She bowed her head slightly and released Kal, but took her hand while she went to sit in her throne. Releasing only after she was seated. With a smile, she held out the cup of blood for her sister. "And I am thrilled and ready to hear it my sister, but first, you must be thristy from your travils. Drink and then tell us all of your jurny." She tucked her leggs under her and waited to hear the exciting news.

Markus Faith

Markus had drifted off into a world all his own. These poems, spoken-word, and speeches had no power to them no deeper mean. They held nothing that would make one pause and go 'hmm what does that truly mean.' The class was turning into a larger and larger disappointment until he heard Siri's name being called. She was the one of the few people who took the time to get past his awkward and rather weird personality. He appreciated it and in return for her kindness and friendship he listened to her words with great interest. Although it wasn't hard, her words wrapped him in giving him some comfort that not all the world was without thought of feeling. When she finished he clapped and returned to his sketch pad.

He hadn't expected to be noticed but she eventually found her way over to him. Hearing her say hello his eyes left the pad to meet hers followed by a warm smile. “Oh what little faith I have in this reality of mine. That the great created would weave its fabrics with apathy. That hearts have grown so cool that the queen whispers sweet nothings to the pawn. I cannot save you for I am weak, she speaks such soft lies that the brave pawn charges to his death for another who would mark his grave without a name.” He held up his sketch book to a drawing of a beautiful woman's face but below her soft face were shadow figures extending gifts to her.

Markus chuckled mostly to her self “I find high school so very entertaining” He said before setting the pad down “I've been good, what you been up to lately?” He asked through the hair that covered his eyes. “Ready for Holloween? I still don't know what I'm going as I need to make a costume for myself soon.” His emerald eyes closed as he drifted into thought something he often did. He didn't mean to space out but there was always something going on in his mind. He was odd like that and one of the reasons many people didn't like him.

With his eyes still closed Markus' hand started to slide across a fresh piece of paper. He began sketching a Halloween costume for himself. When he finished it turned to be a four-winged demon/vampire thing. He shaded it quickly “hmm” he said “nope that's crap” he said as he closed the book looking at the clock “When does class get out today?” He asked wanting to be done with English class as soon as possible. He looked up at the teacher who was encouraging students who didn't do their work to ad-lib for a grade. It was things like this that pissed him off. People could blow of work and because teachers felt bad for them they got some watered down assignment but Markus did his work and still didn't have straight A's. He sat back in his chair closing his eyes again “just a few more hours” he mumbled to himself.

A little to Happy on the Outside

Sitting herself down on the chair before her rather quiet friend, she pulled her hair over her shoulder and started to brush ehr fingers thought the soft silk like fibers that made up her long blond hair. She tilted her head after speaking to her dear friend, Markus. She was sure that ht would start to spek when he was ready, and when he was, his words would hold great meaning that was hard for her to unravile. Like he always did. Soon, just like she expected, he started to speak in rythem and ryme. When she first started to speak to him, she got a bit annoyed with that, but she was determined to be his friend at any cost! She was very glad when she really started to listen to his words, the more he spoke them, the more she understood what he was all about. His deep meanings and wisdom.

Anyways, when Markus started to speak to her she closed her eyes and let his owrds create images in her mind. She could see everything that he was saying, very vividly in her mind. As if she could see the very words he was saying. It was very, beautiful. She sighed inwardly for a moment and opened her eyes when he was finished speaking. She smiled and looked down to the picture. "Its beautiful. You really should write a poetry book and put your picutres inside as well." She commented and smiled brightly to him."Everything, as usual. We have a play in a few weeks that were working on, we have a meet next thursday, and holoween tomorrow! So yeah, everything." Siri sighed and let her shoulders drop with exsageration of having everythign on her shoulders. She rolled her eyes heavily and then started to speak again. She nodded her head in a yes motion when he asked if she was ready for holloweed. "Yes. I have everything ready for a great Mad Hatter costume." She loved the Mad Hatter, he was crazy and being him, meant that she could be as crazy as she wanted to. Holloween was and still is her favorite holiday because she could dress up and mess around without being mad fun of. Anyone could be anything they wanted to be and they couldn't be criticized for it. Well, unless they dress up in skimpy outfits, then they are just..well, sluts! But, whatever, she's going as crazy and that's all that mattered to her.

She looked over her shoulder, a few of the boys looked to her, wondering if she was looking at them, she wasn't, she was looking at the clock. "About two minutes left." As she spoke she started to get up. "All there is left, is the five other classes we have to get through!" She laughed sarcasticly, her laught bubbeld out and around her. She looked over Markus's shoulder as he drew. "I though that one was good, though the wings would be hard..." She though for a moment before speakign again. "You could always be a vampier? Your dark enough." She spoke jokingly, but it was true in a good way. Siri knew the world needed a little more darkness into it. Siri looked to the clock again just as the bel rang. Siri grumbeled under her breath. "Great, gym.." Siri was never a very athletic person, just when it came to swimming. She couldn't' run, climb, or anything that didn't involve water. She was completely useless on land. Tripping over herself all the time. It was a wonder how she got anything done. She waited for Markus to get up so she could give him a hug and then start to go to her class.

                : Earlier today :
The angry red numbers of the loud alarm clock shrieked into the darkness. A small feminine groan answered, as a dark form made her way across the cluttered floor. There was a rustling noice, and then a loud thud of a heavy book falling off the bed side table on to her little toe. "Owwie..owwah! Ouch!" she mummbled alway to the dresser where the blaring tone came from. " Stupid clock..." After the precious silence filled the room. Her small hand fummbled over the wall for the light switch. It took a good couple seconds but then burning white light filled the room showing the severity of how "cluttered" her room really was, there were scripts, various books, an array of cloths, both dirty and not. There was a full length mirror that took up the full Length and width of the wall that wasn't cluttered with play bills from broadway plays, and balletes from all over the world, along with posters of numerous bands, ticket stubs to concerts, and pictures of all the famous people she took pictures with. She opened her dresser and fished out a matching bra and underwear the lacey ones with little pink butterflies on them. She then took out her outfit for today complete with gloves, hat and scarf. She laid everything on her disheveled day bed. She stretched and walked out of the room into a really neat organized house, thanks to the nanny that came with her step dad as a whole package. She made her way lazily into the big bathroom at the end of the hall. She filled the bathroom with steam as the water poured out of the shower head, pelting her skin with hot water. She washed and did the nessary things that a girl must do in the shower, but she did condition her hair not once but three times, to kept her long curly hair.

Towel drying her hair she peered at herself in her mirror, poking at her stomach in the, 'Mann, i need to lose wieght, kind of way. Though she had a wonderfully shaped body, proportioned well, taking in her latina heritage from her mother. She had strong long legs, and her abs were toned, but not ripped in the poking out kind of muscled type. She brushed her hair, softly pulling at the tangles and knots from the deep conditioning and sleep. She then slid into her pants, and a light pink tank top that matched her scarf, almost identically. Than on to make up, she applied her regluar powder foundation and then eyeshadow. She usually goes light on her eye makeup not wanting to draw to much attention to herself. She finished the whole look off with a gray eyeliner, just on the top and then mascara.

Before she walked out of her room, she slid on a white v-neck tee and her black mocasin boots. She checked the clock again, "Man o man! " her heart raced as she spritzed herself with sensual amber perfume and applied deoderant. she grabbed her finger less mitten gloves, hat and jacket. She looked around once more before to turned off her lights and locked her bedroom door behind her. Thundering down the stairs, into the kitchen she smiled at her tiny mother who smiled behind her cup of coffee. " Mmh, hola mammi! Como esta?" she asked in her first language, though when she spoke english it didn't sound like it. She grabbed her toast with rasberry jelly from the counter, already wrapped in a paper towel to eat on the way to school. " Muy bien, mija. Uh you father and I are gonna go out of town today, to some confrence for his work. We don't know when we will be back, i hope that is okay?" That stopped her in her tracks, " Yeah, i guess so..i can take care of myself and Nadia will be here, so no problemo." She grabbed her black boho purse that she threw over her shoulder, and damn near ran out of the door with a piece of toast in her mouth.

                :Now:

Her hand was going a mile a minute trying to keep up with her physics teacher..Uhh this is not a good class to have in the morning! She stared at the balding teacher as he droned on about somethign she had no idea about. She doodled in her compostion note book, where she wrote all her ideas for extra lines in drama, or preformances she had to do after school for theatre. she wrote down a list of things to do, and at the top it was to clean her room. She was lost in her own world, bored out of her mind. She jumped alittle when the bell rung, she stood quickly and picked up her bag and her books. " Ugh gym." she muttered under her breath. yay time to go sweat. Its not that she didn't like to be athletic, she loved working out, and moving her body, it was just the creepy gym teacher that made the girls do extra jumping jacks for "carido reasons" yeah carido reasons my a**! She walked through the surge of people around her, tryign to survive the trip to her locker and then to the gym. She reached her locker, that was almost as messy as her room, but it had a disorganized, organized system surpisingly. She dropped off her books, jacket, gloves, and her hat, but kept her purse.

She made her way to the girls locker room to get undressed and then dressed into her gym cloths. She went to her small dinky gym locker and took out her freshly cleaned clothes that she left in there yesterday for today. They consisted of black sophie shorts, that usually the cheerleaders wore, a white tank top and a black shirt, and her cute pink nike shoes.

After she dressed and locked her normal clothes into her locker she went to the mirror in the bathroom/showers area to tie back her lazy curls and relieve herself before she went in there, because her teacher sure wouldn't let her go after she passed the gym doors. She washed her hands, and hummed under her breath one of her faveorite songs, from the musical Wicked, "defying gravity"

    Bennoni | Rotauge | Kaevar «

“life is like a house of cards. When they fall, build them back up, then set them a blaze and let them burn.

Kaevar stirred awake some opening his eyes only to close them tight once again for he nearly became blinded by the rising sun," what in bloody hell," he groaned sitting straight up his denim jacket falling fromk his chest. opening his eyes slowly this time he looked about to see where he was. There were tree all around him the beautiful green of the firs as well as the dying browns and oranges of the few maples. he soon realized he was sitting in the park nearby the school. He stretched himself before standing up before he continued looking around," Well there is no point staying here anymore, as he turned back to the broken down wooden bench that he took as his bed for the night. Bending over he took an old army drybag as well as a worn down side bag, which carried his school stuff. Moving out of the park he notticed another one of his kind laying off to the side on another bench, though he layed under some drenched news paper. He changed course so he stood over the man," Ok old man I will only do this once," He muttered as he drapped his dry bag and opening it up. It took him a few moments to find what he was looking for, pulling our a blanket he had gotten from one of the army surplusses he paused and looked at the old codger that lay in front of him. Turning his head a few times to make sure no one was around, after all he had a reputaion to keep, he brushed the newspapers from the man, then covered him in the blanket. With one last sigh he turned from the gent and continued on his way.

First thing was first, he needed something to eat and he knew eaxactly where to get something. He walked down the streets not very many people were out where he was but there still were a few and as he got closer to them they would move to the other side of the street trying to keep out of his way, he really never understood why they did this he always guessed it was the smell, which was priority two on his todo list. He stopped looking up at the sign to a QFC with a sigh he moved into it and headed over to the delli reaching into his pockets another sigh, this one of relief, came from him," Thank god I still have some," he sighed as he picked up one of the small sack that contained a bagel a carton of milk, and an apple. he then grabbed another sack with lunch type items and moved towards the self check out. he rang up the items quickly then dug out out his pocket and old wrinkled up bill and slid it into the machine, " Thank the world for running into mr money bags," he laughed as he picked up the two plastic sacks and left the store. opening the one with the bagel he took a bite and looked up at the clock that they had hung by the door, good he still had half a hour or so till classes started," now it is time to go take a shower,"

It didn't take him very long to get to the school. Jumping the fence that went around the back of the school he moved towards the locker rooms. This was always his normal routine for no one came into the locker room till classes were started and by the clock on the wall he still had fifteen minutes. Placing his bags off to the side of the shower he quickly undressed and pulled out a bottle of shampoo, conditoner, and soap, even if he was homless he still had good hygiene. He turned on the water and began to rinse himself. he stood under the water for several minutes thinking before he picked up the soap and washed himself. After he was fully washed up he moved back to his bag and quickly rummaged through it and grabbed his towel. Drying off he continued to rummage pulling out a shirt as well as a pair of ripped pants. He slid them on quickly then grabbed a bottle of gel and began to stand his hair up in a mohawk type fashion. once he was done he grabbed his bags stuffing the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and his bar of soap and left, just in time as the the first groups of jocks to get into the locker room.

Walking into the main building he looked about and groaned, his first class assignment was some dumb poetry reading about how he felt, there was no way that he was going to that class today. This didn't stop him from stopping by the door to listen to his friends read theirs, he had always loved listening to the emotion they put into their writing. After listening he sped off towards his next class, which was creative writing.

He sat back and listened to his teacher dribble on and on about how it is improtant to put emotion into your writing or it will just sound drab and dead.

"Mr. Kaevar, will you come up and read some of your writing," spoke the teacher, it wasn't unusal for the teacher to use him as an example but it was quite boring when he did. moving to the front Bennoni pulled out a stack of paper that was paper cliped together. looking up towards the class he sighed deeply then smiled,"by the way this is all fiction"

"There I sit my face drenched in a mixture of tears and rain in my hand I hold the picture of a girl that I’ve been in love with since my sophomore year, in the other a small gift wrapped box with the tag that say “I Heart You”. My life feels empty now for this girl is the same girl that broke up with me several minutes ago in front of her best friend. Ever since that day people tell me I’m a totally different man, but I believe that I am the same man only looking at the world through different eyes. I’m getting ahead of myself though let us go back to the beginning and see how everything began.

It was the day before Valentine’s Day, a group of friends and I decided to hit the mall to check out some of the new renovations and stores that we have heard so much about. With this group was a young half Filipino woman, she wore a black corset with white ribbon holding it shut, her pants were a pair of black pin stripe dress pants that hugged her curves up till the point of her ankles. Her name was Miranda, this girl was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen, she didn’t hide herself under makeup and the little she did wear blended in beautifully with her tan skin, and she could wear clothes that didn’t show off to much skin and still was able to turn many of the guys heads around us, I noted this during our walk through the mall that day. I’m veering from the story though so let us continue."

After finishing his example he walked off back to his desk and sighed some as he listened halfheartedly to his class members talk about his story and what it was about and if it was real. The class went by quickly as so did lunch. Standing up he looked at the clock, " shite gym's next," he growled as he picked up his bags and headed towards the gym. He didn't bother changing for it would take him ages to spike his hair up again, he moved into the gym and leaned up against the close bleachers as he watched the others slowly fill in to it.

    Markus Faith

Markus looked up at Siri with a curious gaze. She was determined to befriend him even when he did things just to annoy her. He constantly spoke in rhythms and riddles to her simply because it gave his mind ease. When she informed him on the time and answered his questions he simply smiled at her. “An...interesting costume” he said with a his normal casual smile. He closed his book as he glanced at the the clock “two minutes” he mumbled to himself his attention drifting all over “tick tick tick tick” He green eyes slowly moving from the clock to her eyes as she said he was dark enough to be a vampire. He leaned forward almost uncomfortably close “do you fear the darkness?” He asked releasing a cool breath and grinning showing mostly his canine teeth.

When the bell rang Markus stood collecting his things “shall I drift or shall I creep? Do the shadows beckon me or am I the shadow?” He smiled at Siri before walking off without a good bye. His eyes glazed with thought as he walked out of the class. As he walked out one of the football players shoved him to the ground laughing and calling him a f*****t. Markus sighed seeing his drawing scattered across the floor. He attempted to collect them but the football players made sure to step on them and scatter them further just before the hall filled with people. He collected the pictures that he could looking at one he had drawn of Siri when he had a crush on her. Although he had still felt the attraction at time he said nothing one could assume it was all part of being a loner.

He released an annoyed sigh before walking to his locker. He put all but his sketch pad away and headed towards the gym. He didn't bother with the locker room he simply found his spot on the bleachers. He closed his eyes trying to find a new muse to draw “A vampire you say?” He said to himself before starting to draw different faces, bodies, and outfits. He did this until a great idea came to him. He couldn't help to grin “Jack the skeleton...” He said as he started to draw an outfit for himself “yes...” He said excited for tomorrow now that he knew what he would be. He would have to spend tonight and tomorrow working on it to make sure he had it just right. He looked up and started to watch people walk in through his hollow thinking eyes.

Siri continued to shift her fingers though her hair, pulling out the knots that she created from it. Smiling awkwardly when Markus looked up to her. She wondered what he was thinking, she did that a lot. Wondered what others were thinking, mainly because she though her own thoughts were dull and meaningless. But who doesn't think like that now a-days? Oh right, everyone. She smiled back when he smiled after she told him the time. She chuckeled a bit when he 'complimented' her costume. "Thanks. I'm rather excited for it. I love All Hollows Eve. Its my favorite holiday." She spoke softly, something she only really did with Markus. She was glad that she never had to speak loudly because someone was playing music to loudly, or just not really listening to her. She started to space out a little, she did that a lot, daydreaming, until she felt Markus's eyes on her. Large green emerold eyes, almost snake like, turning and looking to her face. Blinking she looked to him and waited for him to say something. A smile on her face while she waited momentarily. Almost unwillingly, when he moved closer, she moved an inch back, it was a self preservation type of thing, letting out a broken up nrevious breath. She hid a shiver that ran down her spine when she felt his breath brush against her cheek like an ice cold hand. She continued to smile, though it was a bit smaller then before. She chucheled after a small pause to catch her breath. "You see, thats why you would make a good vampier." She giggeled softly, avoiding the question skillfully...well, she though it was. The bell rang and Siri waited for her little good bye, though she liked hugs, what she got from Markus was still nice. When he spoke she smiled and nodded her head. "You are the Shadows Markus. You wre born there." She spoke more to herself then anything while she watched him leave.

Collecting her things she headed to the door just intime to see Marku sbeing pushed down. Well that just pissed her off. She knew just about everyone on the foot ball team, and she devinatly knew this one. Her face twisted into a grimace as she storemed to the boy who shoved Markus. "Hay Oats." He laughed and waited for her to walk to him. "Made these for you sweet cakes." Oh. That didn't help. She snatched the pictures, knowing full well they all belonged to Markus. She could recognize his art anywhere, it was full of emotions and character and person feelings. She didn't even wait after taking the few that Markus had missed. Once in hand she used her other one, and in the blink of an eye, there could be heard a large SMACK sound from her palm making contact with the boy's face. Normally, she didn't like violance, but every once in a while, it was nessisary. She didn't wait for his reaction, but started speaking right away. "If you ever shove one of my friends, making them drop anything, even a pen...I sware..I know how to get you off the team faster then a humming birds wings." She still didn't wait and turned around sharply and starte to head to the girls locker. Storming the whole way there. The football player just stood there a moment in compleate shock, when he finally shook off what had happened and scoweled while the others laughted.

She entered the locker room with a pissed off expression, not even bothering to go to her locker first. Shoving her bag inside the swim locker she had and pausing a moment when she looked at the slightly crumpeled papers that she had in her hand. It was indeed the ones that Markus drew. She smiled when she looked at them, and cought herself spacing off while pictureing herself walking inside one. It was one of dark woods. Looking within it she could almost feel the chill of the wind that makes the leave blow in an erry sort of way. She only snapped out of it when she felt others looking over her shoulder. "You make that Siri?" Asked one of the girls. She shook her head a bit and put it away so she coudl get ready in her sweats. "Nope. A friend of mine did." She never said Markus's name to others, she figured he would want it that way, so they don't start talking about his or something. She smiled to herself as she slipped out of her clothes and put on her Sweat pants and Shirt. Pulling her hair into a tight pony tail at the base of her neck she locked the locker and started out to the gym, less inthusiastic and with a mind filled of wonder. She was definatly going out into the woods tonight with that picture and study it more...then she'll give it back. She looked around once she entered the gym, looking for people she wanted to hang around before class really started. She spotted Eva and her face brightened up, she started to walk to her when another person cought her eye. Bennoni, who was once again not changing. She smiled and figured she would see both either way, but for the moment, she was going to Eva first. "Hay Eva." She smiled and walked after she waved. She smiled as soon as she got up to her and waited for a responce. Class was going to start in about three minutes, but it was still nice to say hello to her. She would say hello to Bennoni next, but her first....

Beethoven Sonata 31 in A-flat major rang through the halls of the Musician home. It was coming from one of her many rooms around her house, but this one. was her favorite. It held her most prized possession, her grand piano. It was old, way older then she was. It was given to her when she was ten years old. Her sister had it shipped to their home from some place on the other side of the world. She also was told each piece was from a different country. She loved it and would never let anything happen to it, or let anyone but her touch it. Tally even knew how to change each part of it just encase something happened to it. Long pale black tipped fingers moved across the keys with a grace that no other could match. She played the piano as a speed that was almost impossible to follow. That was just from her own talent, and pure practice. Sitting every day at this piano and move her hands across the keys; making sure to hit all the right notes. After a while of just moving her hands across the key board; her pinky finger slid past the correct key and hit a low note that made it sound disgustingly bitter. Shacking her head and sighing. Slowly; pulling the lid down over the keys and smothering her hands over it before pushing back the matching seat enough for her legs to slip around it and to stand. Her black night gown moved around her body like a second skin. It flowed as she walked through her home, picking up a red apple from a basket of fruit as she moved through the kitchen.

It was just about time to get ready for school; so she sauntered up towards her room. Not wanting to go to school; she really did not want to read out her poem in from of the class. Tally Anne hated to speak in front of others. Now; playing music in front of them was a different thing.. All she wanted to do was play her piano, maybe the violin or fiddle. Yet, she was moving through her wide living room and up the the flight of stairs. Lily and Tally's home was large; bigger then most in this small town. Their parents life insurance had left them with plenty of money to never have to work. Plus Tally composed music for some bands now and then. That made her more money then what any teen in the town would make. But she would rather have her mother and father and the memories of them being murdered to be out of her mind over all the money in the world.

Eyes like no others scanned each hall as she passed them. It was like her eyes were kissed by the sun, no.. more like they were the sun. They were bright yellow with lines of lighter golds and darker yellows. Her colorful hair twirled up and out of her face. She usually wore her hair up, for it would get stuck in her stringed instruments if she played it too quickly; which she often did. Getting the bow stuck in your hair was not a good thing when you have to rip it out. Pale lips snapped a bite being taken out of the crimson apple. A crunching noise could be heard, but nothing else. Her steps were silent, her breathing soft. Tally is always calm in the morning; that is until she gets to school; people irritate her. Sighing to herself as she tossed a half eaten into a small trash on the inside of her door. Looking around her large room; she smiled at the dark decor. It was almost as if one was walking into a different time.

Migrating through a large marble doorway that had a few thick curtains hanging from the ceiling. The curtains were black, thick, and heavy. Past the thick curtains were thin sheets of crimson silk. Each was nearly see through, but piled the way they were, you could not see anything but light; and if you stopped.. you just might get lost in all the fabric. Once through all the thick fabric and through the silk, you would be gobsmacked by the beauty of the room. A ceiling so high that it did not look like their was a ceiling. Walls that looked like a hole was formed in the middle of a marble statue. They were bright, shinning and perfect.. In the middle of a room was a huge bed, bigger then queen but smaller then a king sized bed. It was round and looked like it The bed was not just a large piece of cushion. It was thousands of different sized pillows. Large, small and medium; all where either a black darker then night or crimson that was brighter then blood. Each was stark against the one next to it. Light gray fur coverlet were here and there. Cascading down from the ceiling, was lengths and lengths of sheer coal-black cloth swirling down and piling in large mounds around the bed. There was one door leading to a closet and bathroom mesh together thing. Tally just loved her bed room; the bed was the softest she ever felt before. Smiling at her bed just before moving towards the bathroom.

After a quick shower. blow dry and slipping into some comfy clothing and she was ready for school. Though, before she left her room she grabbed her edge shaped pendent from a tiny jewelry box beside the bath room sink. The tony thumb size egg layed just just below her breast. For a long time Tally never took this necklace off; but having to get the chain fixed a few too many times; she decided it was safer to just take it off and put it back on every morning. The pendent had been her mothers; she had worn it the day she died. Her blood is still dried to the whiteness of the inside of the egg when you open it up. Grabbing her three inch binder off her bed room floor and a sac of black and red pens just before leaving her room and then her house. But not before she left a note for Lily on the kitchen counter. Tally and Lilly always left each other notes; Tally was always doing something and Lily; was just no where to be seen from time to time... Well.. Most of the time.

A few minutes later a short ride in her blue roadster and she was at school. Late; again. Tally was late every day; though she donated some money to the school so that they could have a updated computer system; do they really don't complain to much about it. Now; Tally wasn't one to throw money around like it was nothing. She loved her new school and wanted the best for the other students; and that involved new computers; She also made sure the principle of the school wouldn't tell any one she did. To everyone; she wanted to be known as the person that could play any instrument and not have a problem with anyone. Tally was new; barely a few months into the school and was grateful for the few friends she has.

Slowly; Tally Anne entered the room just as everyone just finished talking about; she was assuming; Bennoni's poem. Before she could even walk past the teachers desk; she spoke. (( im amusing its a woman,.. cause no one really said so.. )) "Miss. Sustan. Since you are already up here; Why don't you read the class what you wrote." Tally groaned but set her thick binder on the teachers desk before opening it and slipping a sheet of paper from the front of it; then turned to the class. Her low toned voice ringing out like none others; it was low and crawling with what felt and sounded like hatred. Some of the parts she even whispered in a strained tone.

"Its... Ah.. Kinda long.. but i couldn't stop once I started.. So yeah.. Here it goes.

When you scream it sounds like a lullaby
When you beg I get all gooey inside
Tonight I take your eyes, mind, and tongue
To spread the word, and watch your kingdom come

Another night with you Another wound
    You keep me In stitches
    You tear me To pieces

I need new voices in my head
To speak my secret evils with
I need new lovers in my bed
To be my friends and special pets

I need your scent all over me
I need to taste your blasphemy
I need to know with certainty
The nectar was worth the squeeze

It's just the way that we're diseased
It's the plague that stains us
    It's the sweetest disease
    It's so contagious

    Once upon a time
I ripped the wings from my spine
But when I hide inside your eyes
I still pretend that I can fly

    Tell me every secret
So you can fall in love
    And then fall to pieces

When you scream it sounds like a lullaby
When you beg I get all gooey inside
Tonight I take your eyes, mind, and tongue
To spread the word, and watch your kingdom come."

With out waiting, she turned back towards the desk and grabbed her binder and dropped the paper on the desk and walked towards the back of the class. Small whispers started but was quickly vanquished by the teacher telling everyone what the next assignment will be. Tally tuned the teacher out and plopped down behind Marcus, placing her feet on the back of his chair nodding towards Bennoni and waving slightly towards Siri and Evangelina before looking down at her binder; opening it up and promptly started writing music. The binder was mostly filled with sheet music; half of the pages were scribbled across and marked on. Where she started writing a song but stopped because she didn't like the way it was turning out. Humming slightly in her mind and tapping her toes against Marcus' chair; oblivious to the fact that it just might bother him. Then it was off to math.. where she sat around and wrote in her binder some more and had no friends in this class and was happy with that.

    (( DONE!!

I swear! It only looks long because of the outline! and the fact the poem is soo spaced out!!! lmao.. yeah.. dont worry.. i will cut the next one shorter so that i don't scare people with my awesomeness!!
    -wink wink-

When she was done she slowly made her way to the gym, ugh it smells like sweat and feet in here! Her hazel eyes scanned the crowding basketball court, there were the gossiping girls, he jocks pinching he cheerleader's butts, the outcasts leaning against the bleachers. She seemed to be one of the only "latina" girl in the school, she was mexican, while the others were mostly puerto rican, and they were sereotypical and didn't like her much. She shugged and went to her assigned place, and started to stretch. She reached her tanned arms to the roof, and the bent and touched the floor, she continued this, and some others. She pulled out her small ipod, and stuck an earbud into her ear and suck the music player into the band of her shorts. She undid her hair and then pulled it over her shoulder to tie in a side pony to hide the ear bud cord, because it was alomost to her waist so, it hid most of the black cord anyway. She turned it on and a hip hop song called Lolli Lolli played. It was catchy, and easy to dance to, her ipod was a mix of classical, techno, hip hop, alternative and some other songs, she wasn't afraid to open her mind to different music.

She tapped her foot lightly, and tryign not to draw attention to herself as she thought of the coming holiday, All Hallow's Eve, one of her favorite holiday next to christmas. She wasn;t sure what she wanted to be, but she has been looking at the spartanqueen, it covered just enough of her body that her mother had agreed to let her wear, and also it covered "too much" skint hat the other girls weren't gonna wear it. She thought as she watched the gym get more crowded, and the gym teacher started to get alittle frisky with the girls, that wanted an "A" in gym from doing nothign but gossiping in their a little to short shorts. She rolled her eyes as she started to randomly braided little braids in her pony.

The song changed to an upbeat instrumental with errie violins and the deep cry of a cello, it had a heart beat and was easy to move your hips just so and your body arched in a way that made is fierce and sensual, like a gypsy ballet. She hesitated her move not wanting to ge tnotice, as she simply swayed. Lost in a trance she barely recognized a swee melodic voice that spoke her name. Her hazel eyes searched the gym, and then a few steps away she saw Siri, The Star of the school. Her shiny blond hair was tied tightly back in a low pony tail; causing her blue eyes to seem bigger. A small smile played at the cornners of her plump lips.

Evangelina Minerva Alucard, little Miss Cellophane, or thats what she consideres herself, because she tried to hard to blend in here at her new school acouple years ago and she blended right into the background. " Hola, Siri." she rolled her "r", something simple when she was nervous. Siri was a nice girl, one of the nicest that Evvy ever knew. She first met her in drama club after school a couple months back, but Evvy knew who she was, everyone did. She waved her hand in a soft arch by her waist.

Her smile quickly dampered when she glanced over Siri once more. " Whats the matter?" concern filling her voice quickly. Evangelina had a thing for noticing small signs of sadness or anger, because she watched people and how they act in siuations, and siri wasn't that hard to figure out, exspecially when she got pass the whole, ' i'm so happy..look at me i'm smiling, nothing is wrong at all in my life act.."

A little to Happy on the Outside

Siri, as her mother called her, was an open book. Just about anyone could read her, even if she tried to hide her emotions, tried her hardest, anyone could read them though her eyes. At times, she didn't know how her friends did it, figure out what emotions she was at the very moment they see her...maybe it was though the way she moved her fingers when she was irritated, almost looking like she was playing the piano; she couldn't, but she wished she could. Maybe it was the way her eyes darkened when she was sad or depressed. Or how she played with her hair when she was nervious or lonely, and the way her fourhead gaines a little, hardlynoticable stress ling between her eyes and her jaw locks when she furious and angry. The only one she hoped others would notice was when she was happy, her eyes lichg up, even her hair looks brighter, it was as if she shined when happy, and fell into shadows when sad or angry. It was true, she was an actress, able to have any emotion within the snap of a finger, she could even cry on que. But, she couldn't ever figure out how to hide her own emotions when around her friends. She didn't want to. It made things easyer...sometimes.

She had just entered the gym and started loking around when she found Eva, probibly the most unnoticed girl in the school. And Siri had a crush on her. Well, in all honesty, Siri has had crushes on almost all her friends. She can't really make up her mind, really, at the moment, its stuck between Eva, the most welcoming gril in the school, and Markus, the most deep boy she's ever meet. She didn't think she could ever have a chance with Markus, so, Eva was her choise..for now, and she was very happy. Eva always made her smile when she saw her smiling back. Made her feel warm inside too. It was a great feeling and she wasn't about to lose it any time soon. It was the kind of feeling that made her stomach tighten and her finger tips tingel. She remembered when she frist meet Eva in drama class. She was auditioning for the lead sining roll for the musical, leting her voice ring out while singing the alto song I want to hold your hand by the Beatles, the hot new sensation that was all over the world! But, in her own rendition. While she was singing, she was looking in the back of the room. That was when she saw her, dancing. It was amazing to watch her dance while she sang. It was as if they were in perfect harmony, and they were at the time. It made her heart race even faster, and made her sining all the more powerful. She never told Eva that, it was her secret. Something she would treasure forever.

Walking up to her friend her smile grew larger to hear her speak. She loved the way Eva rolled her 'r's. It was very...well, it made her smile a lot. it didn't serprise her to hear Eva ask what was wrong. She tried to keep up a smile and act like thing was wrong. "Wrong? Theres noghting wrong....." But she knew, with one look from Eva, she would spill it anyways, so, with a sigh, she spoke again. "Its just...it makes me so angry when the jerks in this school are..well..jerks." It wasn't the whole story, and Siri wasn't about to give it up either. For Markus's sake. Folding her arm under her chest, she tried to hide the fact that her fingers started to move and twitch. She smiled to Eva and rolled her eyes a bit before moving to her spot next to Eva. She started streaching, happy that the teacher was far on the other side of the room, looking at the cheerleaders and their 'sanky pants', she rolled her eyes as she started to streach her arms fisrt after the teacher called out "Streaches! Now!" Speaking in an amlost harsh tone. In a whispering voice, she spoke to Eva. "Do you have everything ready for tomorrow night?" She asked in wonder, mainly becasue she didn't know what her costume was going to be this year. She liked Eva's costumes, like her's they didn't show to much skin. In fact, her's didn't show much skin at all, she was the Hatter. Last year, she was doll, it was kinda creepy, but it was still fun. "I've heard rumers that this year, something big's suposted to happen in the woods. The one's that no one's suposted to go inside." There were many sets of woods in their town, but only one that was forbidon by all!! It was actioly a law, not to go into the woods, it was a weak law, but a law none the less, the only one she ever broke...well...not the only one, but that's another story.

It was never too late when the male woke, but it was never too early, either. He wasn't ever going to be the first one up in the evenings, that was a well known fact. Bren lay in still silence for a long moment, his eyes not opened and his body still curled comfortably on the soft blanket. He only slept in a tomb because the others did it. None of them wanted to know what would happen to a vampire who didn't. Of course, in his mind, why would a vampire need to sleep in a tomb? They didn't technically need to sleep anyway, so it would stand to reason that there was no requirement to sleep inside a hard, stone coffin. That wasn't anything he was about to go challenging, though.

While intelligent and analytical, Bren was not the type to do something that had any chance of getting himself killed. Besides, Master had changed him on the very brink of death, he was not about to pull a stupid stunt and die because he didn't sleep in the right place. So as it was, he finally made himself lift the lid, the weight nothing against his wiry muscles. He would love to see a human come out of a coffin from the inside. He would love it just because they would start to panic and have a hard time. The thought brought the ghost of a smile to his lips as he sat up, leaning his shoulders back and popping his spine. A long yawn escaped as he glanced around the room. It was early into the night, but he was guessing the others were already up and about, enjoying All Hallow's Eve.

A wave of soothing peace washed over the male at just the right time, as he was standing to climb out of the tomb. It relaxed his shoulders and allowed him to smile genuinely. That would be Master, making sure her children were happy. She was that type, she actually cared for the members of their family. It had been odd at first, to be a part of a family that had very few expectations of him. Bren had come from the family that was expected to be the very best. They had looks, money, and prestige, but no real connection. It had been an awakening for him to come here so many centuries ago.

The vampire glanced in the mirror on his way past, quickly taking in his appearance. Deathly pale, with silvery blue eyes and messy dark hair. He was pretty thin, as well. Somewhere between the forest floor that night and the change, Bren had lost most of his muscle mass, gaining more dense, more efficient muscle. It looked like he was just toned, not a well programmed killer. That was a funny way for him to think of himself. He shook his head, the grin disappearing as he slowly stripped down and redressed. This time, it was a pair of dark slacks and a mahogany colored collared shirt he wore underneath the slate colored blazer he loved. He added a thin black tie, mostly out of respect. The others dressed nicely, so he would, as well. However, he left it loose, rather than tightening it around his throat like ties were supposed to be worn. He had to be his own individual, of course.

With the business of dressing for a night of relaxation with his family taken care of, Bren finally decided to make his way downstairs. He raked his fingers through his hair as he crossed his room, opening the door with little to no regard of the icy knob. With no really warm hands to hold it, and no heating in the home, the metal in the home was all pretty much freezing to the touch. It only had to be, for it to act in any other manner was absurd. The vampires probably never noticed. They wouldn't feel the difference, considering their own skin was icy to everyone's touch but their own.

Bren set off at a liesurely pace down the long hallway. His was the room at the farthest west end of the house. He enjoyed his privacy. It wasn't necessarily too far away, though. Master could be at his door at any second if she wanted. The tall, straight backed vampire descended the stairs with an impeccable poise, half learned as a human and half graced to him as a vampire. It was another perk of being undead; being near perfect in too many ways. Vampires could be scary, even to one such as Bren. He wasn't one to take his own race lightly. That was partially why he remained buddies with most of his family members. That, and they were so close to another, they had to like each other.

Upon nearing the main parlor on the ground level in the mansion, Bren smoothed his jacket, making sure there were no unsightly creases. He arched his brows as he reached the room. Mostly everyone was already there. Even Kalypso was home from whatever travels she'd been on. Bren noted that he seemed to have come into the room during an expectant silence. They seemed to have been waiting to be regaled with her stories. He drifted toward a seat saturated with his scent- he was the one who sat in that paricular one the most. Glancing toward his younger brother as the male entered the room, Bren draped himself into the seat, leaning back comfortably against the cusioned back. His eyes trailed the floor rather than connecting with anyone else's.

User ImageThoughts drifted through his always full mind, giving him a distracted appearance. Bren hadn't been out in a while... Well, it had been a while for his tastes. The last time he'd ventured outside and off the property was in the summer. It had been warm, and the moon was bright, luminescing his ivory skin. It was just a long walk through town at about three in the morning. No humans were out, and it had been a while before he returned. That was a habit of his, wandering off the grounds for short periods of time. Tonight, no tomorrow night, was Halloween. It was the perfect night to walk about with his fangs gleaming in that way that made humans turn to look twice as he walked past. It was the perfect night for him to do what he pleased, within reason. He didn't want Master upset with him for being ostentatious.

He had a loose plan for the night, and it involved wandering the streets dressed in the darkest clothing he could find, using his stealth to frighten people as they walked by, but be gone by the time they looked back. He wasn't going to harm them, just startle them. He loved the smell of their fright, it gave him a buzz not unlike the feeling of having drank excellent blood to your fill. Hopefully, he would have company, too. It was always more fun to mess with people's minds when there was someone there to work with. It was so much easier, too. Bren shook his head to clear it, standing abruptly and grabbing a wineglass. He could use a drink, he wasn't feeling very ficused right now. He chose a bottle from the regular store and poured a small amount into the glass, swishing it with turns of his slender wrist. That being done, he returned to his seat, smiling warmly at Maggie and Bane on his way past.

He needed to talk to Maggie sometime, he was, after all, created for the sole purpose of fighting for the clan under her. She was someone he would hate not having on his side in a conflict. He knew from training with her that she was a force to be reckoned with for sure. But at the same time, she was no less gorgeous than any other vampire, perhaps more lovely than most. That was something that she no doubt knew very well. Bren relaxed back into his seat, leaning on one elbow, the stem of the glass perched between two of his fingers.
