I will say it now, I will not die for you...

[[Awww, you have a kid? Is it a boy or a girl? How old? What was he/she sick with? Ooh... I must sound creepy. xd ]]

Alimbil saw Aeros' eyes flicker to his blade, and Alimbil kicked it behind him. He'd have to get through him before he could reclaim his weapon. He saw Aeros' eyes glisten with some distant memory, and then revert to normal. He seemed to be contemplating something, and Alimbil was hoping desperately that it had to do with letting him live.

Unfortunately, Aeros' reply did not keep him talking. He definintely knew how to end a conversation. Out of ideas, Alimbil replied shakily, "It does matter though. Everything has a reason..."

"Just keep going on that topic," he thought to himself, "Just keep it up..." He had to keep it up, or else... He felt the sweat condense on his forhead rushing down his face. Everything was bright, as if he was alert for the first time in his life. He could see the intricate carvings on the stone walls, the pleated sheets, the hay-filled mattress. The colors stood out as fear nearly constricted his level headedness. He blotted it out as best as possible, focusing on only Aero.

    {{I remembered something! I decided something about the whole pendant thing... Both he and his brother each had a pendant, and Aero's has a ruby while Gale's had a sapphire.}}

    Aero frowned as Al refused to stray from the topic of his brother. Yes, you heard me right: he actually frowned. Leaning against the doorway, he closed his eyes and thought back; tapping a finger lightly against the frame of the door. "Why..." he said again; replaying the moment, the emotions... Replaying the whole thing in his mind. After he minute, he smiled and finished "Just to see what would happen, I guess." After saying this he glanced back to Al, who now seemed bent on keeping Aero's sword away from him, and his eyes fell once again on Gale's pendant. If he tried to run away from it, so help him he would--

    But his train of thought was interrupted as a smell drifted past him. A smell so horrifying that it instantly snapped him out of his deranged state of mind, and made him whip his head back in the direction of the kitchen. He could smell smoke. "Oh no no no..." he trailed off, rushing into the other room where his meal had been cooking. After a few seconds, his voice rang out "NOOOOOOOO!!! MY FISH...!" For the moment he was the goofy, don't-waste-food Aero again; who was down on his knees bawling over his now inedible meal. "How could I have let this happen!?" he cried out, sobbing, as if it were the most horrible thing to have ever happened to him.

    {{Noo... The fiiiiish... I give permission to arrest Aero, by the way. >.^}}

For useless, twisting, all our new technology

Quialda sighed as the thing uselessly left. She clicked her tongue, and then began making her way through the forest. It was best to head towards town, knowing she couldn't make it to her cave before nightfall. She'd just have to go the old fashioned way- walking. She pulled the black hoody over her head, and with a flourish began making her way silently through the forest. Every few minutes, she would step on a twig, or be forced to climb through thick brush, but other than that the only sounds where of the birds in the trees.
Quialda obviously hated it, and the moment Arava was in sight, she quickened her pace. No use in waiting around, now is there?

{Ere, what in God's name where you talking about? D;}
Oh, now there is no sound, for we all live underground

[[Well, excuuse me-!! xd Oh, and that's a good idea, Kyo~!! ]]

Alimbil was stunned at the words; 'to see what would happen'?! Somewhere down the road, Aero must have... changed. To kill your brother in cold blood for no reason was not normal, to say the least. He was definitely not your average killer. Alimbil saw his eyes revert to the pendant again, and Alimbil tensed for the oncoming assault-

It never came.

Aero sniffed the air, and, in a flurry of distress, shot away from the door, launching himself down the steps. A moment later a wail sprung up, "NOOOO!! MY FISH...!" Alimbil paused, shocked at his own luck. The burning food had caused Aero to snap out of his infuriated state. Alimbil let out a great sigh of relief. That had been way too close for comfort. He wasn't surprised to see his hands shaking; he hadn't expected to live through the ordeal.

Perhaps this Aero fellow wasn't all bad? He meddled over this for a few moments, before coming to the conclusion that he'd find out. After all, he had gone through the trouble of bringing him to Arava. Perhaps this guy just had some problems he needed to find answers for. After all, everyone behaved differently to obstacles in their lives. Maybe this was just his way of coping with himself.

[[I have a good idea; how about he becmes friends with Aero, and then the guards burst in and Aeros' taken!! Then Alimbil can defend him~!! :O]]

'By the grace of the father and purity of my heart...

@~Past
Avalon struggled against the natural binds, they began to cut into his flesh. The man laughed "you foxes are so useful... your blood is perfect... for giving me immortality" he grinned. "Now the question is... do I kill you or play with you" he said as he licked his lips. He started to chant something, his hands were engulfed in dark aura before he grabbed onto Avalon. The vines seemed to burn away as Avalon thrashed around, his arms were wrapped in the dark aura as he fell to the ground.
The man laughed "come now... embrace the darkness... the raw power of blood magicks...... Kill me.. if you can" he spoke as he faded away. Avalon stopped thrashing, holding his arms as he rolled onto his side, he looked at his arms and saw tattoos burned into his skin, they were dark and looked like long, thin connected slash marks. They began to pulse and move, Avalon felt his blood rush and throb "no... no... I won't" he cried out.

@~Present
Avalon's eyes shot open, he groaned in pain and struggled to stay still, he was over someone's shoulder. He saw a stone floor, people spoke but his heart raced, pumping in his ears. "Help... where... what is going on" he questioned, his tail drooped half-heartedly.

[[Kyorina: Did you just say the same thing twice? xd ]]

Palestra disconnected from her mental link as excused herself from the Council Room. The distress signal had been sent by Avalon, a well-known Representative and powerful Clavirian Shaman. Few Clavirians managed to master any form of magic and mainly relied on brute strength; those that did were very powerful, and therefore needed for the impending onslought, especially one as gifted as Avalon.

She walked briskly but elegantly through the halls, meeting the Sharvans as the entered the Keep. One had the Vulpine over one shoulder. He looked at Palestra, and she read his thought patterns silently. Avalon was brought immediately to the hospital wing, and layed upon a plush bed. A healer bustled over and began her work on him immediately. He had an arrow piercing on his shoulder, along with other various wounds.

Palestra knew he would live, which gave her great satisfaction, though she could tell by his semi-conscious thoughts that he was distraught.

She closed her eyes as her mind enveloped his, enshrouding it in a warm, comforting peace. "Sleep, Avalon, Shaman of the Vanguard Clan... sleep..." Andwith that, she withdrew, sighing lightly. She then asked for a chair, in which she sat in, awaiting his waking. She had much to relayto him, to inform him upon his absence.

    {{Aw man: you better not forget to fill in that post... That kills RPs, I swear. D=< And now that Ms. General is free to move again, I guess I don't mind if soldiers actually manage to arrest me. >.^}}

    Several minutes later, the fire was put out and all that was salvageable was the stew; which Aero brought up to the room along with a roll of bandages. He seemed to have completely forgotten about the proceedings of just five minutes ago; and he looked to Al with large, teary eyes as he set the stew down. "I...I burnt my fish..." he said in a quite voice, before plopping down face first on the bed. "Aaaa muuurnn aa iiiiiishhh!!!"[Translation: Iii buuuurnt my fiiiiiish!!! -sob-] he wailed incomprehensibly: his words almost completely muffled by the mattress.

    After another minute he had managed to accept the fact that him eating a tasty, legitimately earned meal that day wasn't meant to be, he sniffled slightly and turned his head to the side--facing the window--so that he could speak. "...If you need help, I'll put on the bandages..." he told Al. He didn't feel like being pissed off anymore: he felt like pouting over his lost meal... Maybe Aero could still manage to skip town before he called the guards...

    {{Mood swings, anyone? =P}}

[[Heck yeah~!!]]

Alimbil saw the form of Aero lumber back into the room, as pathetic as one could be. He mumbled something about burning the fish before handing Alimbil some bandages, and then preceded to plop onto the bed, bawling into its' plush surface. Alimbil already knew of the meals disasturous fate; after all, it would've been hard not to, what with the racket he'd made. He gratefully took the bandages, and wasted no time in beginning to bandage his wrist. It burned and throbbed painfully, but the once searing, screaming agony was now lying dormant.

Alimbil couldn't help but chuckle lightly at Aero as he sat lay facedown, sobbing into the pillows. Whenever this guy showed emotions, they were at the extreme ends of the scale. When Aero asked if Alimbil wanted help, he nodded, replying, "Well, I do need it tied, and I can't do that with one arm."

He was still confused by this fellows' behavior, but he was definitely interesting. He was also very kind, when he was in his nice moods, that is. Any other time, and Alimbil knew better than do anything out of the norm. Then again, perhaps being normal proned you to getting killed by him? He didn't know the answers yet to this querky character, but he hoped time would unravel his secrets.

[[Well, originally it was a fever, then I found out he was hiding two teeth under his lip. He bit me. xD He's 7 months.]]

Nethartus and Na were spat from the portal, a sickening bone cruching sound was heard from Na as his bones crunched back to where they were supposed to be. Netharitus stood with an air of awe at the world he had forsaken, nearly forgetting it's touch, the air touching his dead skin was fresh, and he could still feel it. Still feel. He nearly laughed aloud, stopping himself short as Na gave him a shallow look. No, it was not his place to laugh, or care. He stooped down for a moment, eyes on Ledaeha as he picked a blade of grass absentmindedly running it through his fingertips. He couldn't help but wonder if she felt anything at all.

Na growled loudly, his fists plunging into the dirt and pulling out two large axes. They went where he went, even if he could tear off a mortals head with his bare hands. He wasn't entirely mindless but the same thoughts went through his thick deformed skull. 'Defend. Kill. Rest. Obey.' It was his lady's will, and he did not have the will to disobey her. Somewhere within him he did not trust Netharitus. He was too soft, even for being dead.

Ledaeha stretched, her bones cracking as she did, and she thought for a moment. "Yes, this is but a simple recon." She murmured, her lips persing into a frown. "Do what you must." She said with a nod at Eoghan. Her orders soundlessly filling the minds of the two she had brought with her. Na moved swiftly, his body surprisingly nimble as he grasped tree branches and other things to swing from. He was gone within a few moments. Searching for any life or threats near by. Netharitus stood and followed Na, or at least the direction he went. They would find each other in due time.

The Lady finished her awkward stretch, arms going out wide, her nails crunching down into her palms violently. Her blood ran freely, touching the grass, creating a dead patch before it became nothing but dirt. It was her way to summon the other three, and she carefully considered whom she would bring. "Ataire. Rise." She commanded, her voice hollow and filled with an all too familiar evil.

The dirt became mud, rippling like a pond of water, then began forming into what looked like a thin body. With a grunt and a roar a young woman pulled herself from the mud, her body was green, her skin tainted with disease. Her eyes were long gone, hollow sockets looking at nothing imparticular. Her clothing was simple rags, a collar the only metal on her body. Dark green symbols lit up in it, as did the sockets where her eyes should have been. Her hair was black, and in a way she nearly looked like Ledaeha.

"Ahh dear sister, good to see you could join us."

Without Emotions, without feelings,

Eoghan nodded, content. Twice in a short time she had let him do what he wished, and this was what he liked best. But he would not need everyone for this mission. No, that would be too much trouble; a reconaissance would not require all of his spectral servants, nor most of them.

In a groaning voice, he droned, "Ashir, Samura; stay here and provide assstance to the fortress."

They both flowed out from beneath him, their pure forms in stark contrast with the still fleshy corpses Ledaeha commanded. Samura looked disdainfully upon Ledaehas' sister as she rose from the ground. What a disqusting sight. Ashir, on the other hand, strode happily towards the fortress, obeying Eoghan immediately. Samura rolled her eyes, turning from the revolting summoning, and followed her companion.

Eoghan was not hased by the summoning; Ledaehas' sister was one of her most powerful minions. He watched as her skeletal form rose, then turned to Ledaeha, awaiting any further implications before leaving.

[[@Harlequin: I don't exactly know whether or not you were coming along to scout out the world, so I made my post rather cryptic. Are you staying at the fort or scouting with me?]]

    Aero finally decided to stop pouting when Al responded to him about the bandages: he wasn't all that hungry... Being poor could really shrink a guy's stomach; the apple he'd had before had been enough to get him by, for now. Maybe he'd have some of the stew in a little while, too. Sitting up and turning to face the Fledgren, the red-head responded "Pff: you can totally tie it with one hand!" He acted out the motions with one hand, and mimed using his teeth to tighten the knot. "See? Easy~!" Of course: he didn't really realize that these things were the sort of tricks you got good at by being a loner.

    "I'll still help, though~!" he laughed; jumping up and skipping across the room to grab the roll of bandages. Sitting down next to Al in the cross-legged position, he lightly took a hold of the injured hand and began wrapping it up; warning him "This might sting a little, by the way~" Even if it was sore--which was obviously the case--he still had to wrap it tightly so that the Fledgren wouldn't be inclined to move it very much.

My allegiance to my comrades and to my homeland,

[[Hey guys, lookie~!! I changed the quote and color of Alimbils' post format~!! xd ]]

Alimbil tried to mimic Aeros' instructions, but was unsuccesful. The little guy hopped from the matress to help him. He sat cross-legged in front of the Fledgren, and began to tie it up, quite tight.

The excruciating pain flared up once more as Alimbil let out a soft groan and gritted his teeth. It felt like liguid fire had been poured over his wrist as the bandages constricted around his wrist. He whimpered slightly, his body protesting. He closed his eyes, the pain nearly unbearable, and tried without avail to breath deeply. Another spasm of pain shot through; he feared that his rib might also be broken. Trying as hard as he could, he blocked out the searing pain, calming himself as best as he could as Aero wound the bandages. It felt as though his wrist was not getting proper circulation, it was so tight.

'By the grace of the father and purity of my heart...

Avalon felt a familair presence in his mind. He kept his eyes closed and relaxed when he felt healer's hands begin to work over his flesh. He smelt another Sharvan, it matched the presence of his mind. He got an order to rest but he ignored it, he felt the healer leave him and groaned. He rolled to his side and began to cough and gag, it was healing sickness, it occured from time to time with the dark tattoos and his encounter with the dark mage. His stomach was empty so nothing came up, but it still didn't feel too great. He slowly sat up to see a Sharvan woman, he knew she was a close ally to his father but didn't know who it was actually. He remembered peeking out from behind his father's leg at her when he was a young kit. "Where am I... who are you" he asked as he studied the woman, she wore a couple pieces from the Vanguard merchants, he started to figure out where he had seen her.

    {{He didn't tie it that tightly... ;__;}}

    "I told you it would sting..." Aero told as he finished tying the bandage, "Just bear with it for a minute, mkay?" And with that he rushed down to the kitchen; reappearing less than a minute later with a bundle of ice, wrapped up in a small towel to keep it from spilling everywhere. Gently placing the ice atop the Fledgren's injured wrist, he instructed "Hold this to your injury until the swelling goes down, mkay? I know: it's cold... But it feels better, right~?" He couldn't help noticing how much he liked saying 'mkay'... But still: once the swelling was reduced, the bandages would be much looser. That's why he had to tie it so tight in the first place; so that it would stay snug, and he wouldn't have to bandage it all over again.

    Still; the boy's whimpering was kind of pathetic... "C'mon: toughen up! You're a man, aren't you?" His attempt at pep talk probably wasn't helping, though... He himself would often be reduced to whimpering when he had to tend to his own injuries as well, so he was somewhat understanding, but still... It wasn't like the red-hair had any pride in the first place, so whining was perfectly natural for him. From what he could tell, Al was having trouble breathing as well... Asthma, perhaps? Yeah right! "Any other injuries I should know about?" he asked: maybe they should go to a healer instead... There was only so much a person could do with first aid alone.

    {{I have to get off for a while, sorry. Probably not for the rest of the night, but... I can't make any promises. =/}}

My allegiance to my comrades and to my homeland,

[[Fledgren have partially hollow bones~!! It would hurt! But he was over-exxagerating...]]

Aeros' encouragement helped block out the pain; he had trouble breathing... maybe it was his rib. He didn't know, but one side ached whenever he inhaled. Aero brought him ice, which he kept on the broken wrist. His own arm seemed limp and dead, which didn't help him in light of the issues.

Aeros comment on his reaction to the pain made him stiffen up; it was true, he wasn't acting his normal self. Without Ria, everything seemed to just be so much harder on him... he guessed that his mourning for her was mingled with this pain. His thoughts ambled back to Ria; how he missed her so. He needed her for everything, and he was finding out more and more just how much he did.

Aero asked him if he had any other injuries, and he opened his mouth to say yes, but decided against it. He'd helped enough; a broken rib needed a healer. "No I'm fine. Thanks though."

There was a moments silence, in which he looked about the room, trying to find a topic. "So..." he said at last, "Do you just travel to get away from the law enforcement?" He saw the look on Aeros' face and replied hastily, "Oh no n, I'm not going to turn you in. I promise."

Are foremost in my mind...
