((WOoT! I'm back!
I'm sure nobody knows what I'm talking about, It seems like I've just been gone for a day, but I assure you there is a greater reason for my verbal celebration...
See, ever since friday, my mom was supposed to pay our cable bill, but because her job decided to start paying everybody twice a month instead of bi-weekly, that left a gap. She had no money to pay, and saturday we lost our cable, internet, and phone service all together (stupid optimum triple play...)
But today was the 15th! Momma got paid and paid the bill, so once again I have internets! And if you're wondering why I was on a few days ago, I stole a signal from my neighbor's wireless router.))
((By the way, Erethia and kitsune, where are Palestra and Avalon fighting? I forgot and don't feel like scouring all of your posts to find the location.))

"It's all in my hands...
I must not fail...I must not fail...
Dawn was sure that Roanoke could make it back to Kai with no problems with the relative peace between Petra and Arpa. So she left the castle quickly and headed to the city below it. She had preparations that she needed to make and she didn't need Roanoke to slow her down. She knew exactly what he would say; he would try to tell her that she was trying to do to much, that she wasn't brought there to put herself in danger. But she felt that this was possibly the only way to bring the human nations together with the others to form a unified front against the Shatir.
Before she had left her monastery, many of her brother and sister monks had given her what they could to aid her on her journey. She had many of the tools that she would need for survival in the arid climate of the Salib Desert; she mainly needed to stock up on food and water. The best thing about using your body as a weapon was that it not only honed your strength, allowing you to carry more, but you also did not need to carry any weapons. It only took a few hours before Dawn had all that she needed. Once she was prepared, she exited the city, heading south towards the mountain wall...
Five days had passed before Dawn found herself at the edge of the desert. She was always surprised by its vastness; the sea of sand seemed to stretch on endlessly as if it was the end of the world itself. Dawn knew that somewhere past the dunes and walls of sand she would find the Shatir. She didn't know exactly what she would do when she got there. It would be difficult to hide herself in such a difficult territory, and fighting her way through an army was definitely out of the question. She could only have faith in herself and what she was doing; if the holy father wanted Ashnar to avoid disaster, then he would somehow see her through this trial.

This fire burns always..."
