Mio nodded at Aaron. Her throat was beginning to sting from her coughing, but she could deal with it, as long as he was there to protect her. But her throat wasn't the problem; it was the cold. Her petite, frail form began to shake from the combination of the cool wind and the water that drenched her body. Her soft blue eyes bore into Aaron's; she needed his warmth and protection.
