not all shadows are cast by light...

sitting on one of the branches in a tree Gabriel had a good sight over the angel, lycan and neko. he leaned back against the tree. as he observed how the neko opened the deer and how the Angel was holding the lycan. it appeared that he was trying to find something out with higher ranked angels, he had seen it before, but wasn't completely sure. Gabriel decided that he didn't really need to pay attention anymore, so he closed his eyes and relaxed.

Azeala shook her head as she looked at him.. "It's not pathetic or sad at all.." she didn't show much emotion as she looked at him. She didn't like to as it sometimes made her feel weak. Even though she knew she wasn't weak at all but just a girl who has been put through hell by her own people. "Yes I have.. I lost someone very special to me too"

Alexa smiled and said"I can be so random sometimes."Alexa straightened up,not like she was slouching it was just that Alexa wasn't standing straight fully,suddenly smelling something"I think I can smell one,but I'm not so sure."said Alexa moving her head back a forth throughout the path,trying to decide which way they should go.Which way should we go?"asked Alexa,waiting waiting for a reply.

Mio was lost. In an attempt to get her to open up and explore a bit, Mio's sister Katsumi had absent-mindedly abandoned her to chase a snow-white bunny rabbit. Katsumi wasn't the the type to eat such cute little animals; she just had a thing for all things that were so darn adorable. Anyway, Mio was left alone in the woods; by herself in the frightening world of unknown terrors that lay outside of her home. Her ears pricked up. Someone was coming. No, it was two people. Judging by their voices, they were a boy and a girl. She instintively took shelter behind a tree; she had overheard them talking of hunting cougars. She wasn't sure what a cougar was, but it sounded big and scary. Maybe these people were both some kind of monster hunter? She needed protection against the dangers that lurked in the forest, but what if these people weren't exactly friendly? Every ounce of her instincts warned her to stay away from these two strangers, but out of a little curiosity and a hint of desperation, she forced a peek from behind the large oak that was her shield. The girl looked innocent enough, but the boy...come to think of it, they both seemed to have something odd about them. Her nose picked up a strange scent from them; something that she had never smelled before. Her eyes widened in shock, and she retreated back behind her cover. She had been seen.

Sydney

"Sydney! Stop! You have no idea where you're going!"

A small dragon about the size of a house cat scampered along the ground, shouting after its companion: a young blond woman wearing a black dress. The girl, whose name had been called by the dragon, scowled and increased her walking pace a little faster. "And that should matter, why!?" she shouted back over her shoulder at the pest of a dragon. Well, Tyr wasn't always a pest. He was just being one right now.

"You remember the last time you wandered off without any idea of where to go right?" Tyr called out as his slim and long body struggled to keep pace after Sydney.

"What does that have to do with anything!? You do know the definition of the word 'wandering' right?" Sydney retorted flatly as she suddenly brought herself to a stop, spinning around on her heel to glare down at Tyr. The dragon had to scrabble along in the grass a bit to keep from bonking his head into Sydney's legs.

"Of course I do? What kind of question is that?" Tyr replied, his voice sounding put out by Sydney's attitude. Even though she was always like this, Sydney always managed to find some way of getting under people's skin.

"Ugh! Never mind! I don't care anymore, Tyr!" That said, Sydney's frustration clearly made it into her tone of voice as she spun back around to continue on her way. That scowl still in place on her face as she went. While all of this arguing was happening, Sydney had no idea that she was getting close to a group of people (a lycan, an angel, a neko, and a vampire).

Gabriel looked up as he heard another set... no two sets of footsteps approach... one of something on two feet... and one set of something small, on four feet. "oh god... here we go." he said as he saw a girl in the distance. "this should make for some fun."

Sydney

"H-Hey! Wait for me!!" As Sydney took off again, Tyr whined almost like a puppy would before scrambling after his friend again.

"I'm not listening to you, Tyr!" Syd retorted to Tyr's vain calls for her to slow down and wait for him.

Tyr continued his attempt to catch up to Sydney and try to climb up the outside of her dress to reach his usual perch on her shoulders. However, before he could do that, the dragon's nose had caught a couple of strange scents up ahead. "Sydney! Stop!"

Syd's scowl deepened even more as she let out a low growl of irritation. Even though she had said she wasn't listening to the dragon anymore, she could in fact still hear him. "Shut up, Tyr!" Sydney shouted back as she couldn't hold her irritation back any more.

"I'm not joking this time, Sydney! There's people up ahead!" Tyr called out. The dragon took off like a snake through the grass after Sydney, his energy coming from nowhere to fuel his movement.

"Tyr! I don't care!" Sydney shouted as she suddenly stopped and spun around to glare down at the ground where Tyr bumped into her legs. Before the dragon could gather himself for anything, Sydney snatched up her companion by the scruff of his neck. She brought his body up so that they were eye level with each other. "You just don't learn when to shut your mouth do you!?"

((crap... I gotta go to class now... I'll be back in a few hours or so. I'll bring my laptop, but no garuntees I will be able to post.))

Aaron pricked his ears and smelled the air. "Maybe right...no left...." he stopped concentrating and pricked his ears. He heard a sound. He whirled around, seeing a blur of color and smirked. He put an elegant finger to his lips and walked over to the tree. He peeked his head around and smiled at the shy neko. He barred his fangs at her and growled at her playfully. "Well hello there...Hey Alexa, I think we found our snack," he said, only playing with the scared girl.

Kain leaned himself on to a strong looking oak. "This may sound weird but it is nice to meet someone who understands....." He said quietly his voice as dead as his gaze as he met her eyes. Even though he sensed many others all around, all in pairs 'Thats rather odd.....' He thought to himself but wiped the thought from his mind. "This may not mean much now but i am really sorry for the loss of your love." Kain said with true sympathy that actually reached his eyes.

Azaela sorta smiled a bit more then she had in awhile. "Thanks he was a great guy even for being a demon." She leaned back on her hands as she looked up to the sky.. Though you know you never do lose them completely. They're always in your heart and thoughts." She leaned her head to the side as she looked over at him.

There was a huge truth behind her words and he noticed her smile. "Thats true." He said with a weak smile, but the was alittle irony too. His heart was dead but Sarina was there he could feel her. "Over a hundred years of a commitment its extermly hard to forget them. But I was a human before all of this." Kain paused a second "So I can understand being with another of a different race."

"Yeah it was hard we were at peace with the demons for the time and really he was just a demonic angel. He was only half demon." She looked over at him.. she knew her lover was gone but she could feel his reincarnation on this planet and was in search of it. She was to protect who ever it was at all costs. One hundred years huh..my love died about 120 years ago.".

"Some wounds are older then others." Kain said with a grimance. He had only been Sarina for over a hundred years but it has only been 30 years without her. Looking to her he noticed a few common characteristics that she shared with Sarina. The same strong look in her eyes with a hint of determination the same long silvery hair, it was alittle painful for him to even look at this women but he managed an even gaze.

"That is true Though I try my best to live my life happily because I know that's what Arcadious would of wanted me to do." Looking back at the sky she watched the clouds move by as some of hem would cover up the sun. Thinking about what he would be doing right about now if he was alive she then remembered the fun they would have. Smiling as she had totally forgotten about Kain being near her.

Violet could suddenly feel herself regain her strength. Her eyes began to opened revealing the purpleness. She blinked a few times and looked up at Roy who was staring up at the sky. She waited for him to look down at her and realize that she was alright for now anyways.'He must really...care about me..uhh' Violet groaned as she moved farther and farther from the light.
