"Oh come on, Sydney..." Tyr replied, giving a small whine like that of a puppy. "You don't mean that... Do you?" As he asked this, the dragon perked his head up and gave his companion a rather sad look that quite possibly could melt anyone's heart.

Sydney didn't answer that question. Nor did she seem to notice the puppy-eyes look that Tyr was giving her right now. Instead, she returned the topic to their discussion about Gabriel. "Never mind that. That guy clearly has no idea the crap I've been through..." Sydney muttered, referring back to Gabriel. "Why should he even care what I've been through in the first place?" She asked herself aloud, getting back to her feet. "All he cares about is himself. It's not like he'd care if I told him that I killed my own family." she stated flatly as she started walking again. "It's not like he, or anyone else, would understand for that matter."

"Ah! Sydney! Wait!" Tyr called after her as he hastily got to his feet. He glanced around quickly before taking off after Syd. He didn't know if Gabriel had heard any word of Sydney's rant just now, but the dragon hoped the boy had enough sense to keep his curiosity in check at this moment if he had heard anything.

"She did what?!" Gabriel though to himself as he got up. "there has to be a reason why... she couldn't just have decided that she'd go ahead and kill her family... could she?" He jumped out of the tree and slowly started following again, on ground level. He really wanted to know what happened, and why she did that.

Gabriel's scent told Tyr that the vampire was still following them, but the dragon still kept silent about it. He knew Sydney was not going to take kindly to being followed and listened to against her will. But he knew it would be best to keep his mouth shut about it for now. "Sydney. You and I both know that what happened was an accident. You didn't mean to hurt anyone."

"Like hell that's what happened! You only know bits and pieces of the story, Tyr!" Sydney replied. "Flora and all the others at the abbey didn't deserve that!"

((It's okay. I should still be here when you get back. I may go to work on some of my art homework at the school art studios later, but I will most likely be here when you get back in like 3 hours lol))

"There has to be a reason... I'm sure there is..." Gabriel thought, now standing behind a tree. He was thinking of going away, to leave her on her own so she wouldn't get mad at him for following her. But for some reason, he wanted to know what happened, and what was going on.

"...I'm sorry, Sydney... I'm only trying to help..." Tyr replied quietly, a rather apologetic look on his reptilian face.

"Well, you're not helping right now." Sydney replied flatly. She was trying not to yell too much at Tyr over this. He didn't know anything about what had happened and Syd wasn't about to blame the dragon for trying to help. Despite the fact that Sydney didn't want help at this point. She felt she was beyond asking or receiving any.

"It wasn't you who did that stuff, Sydney... It was someone else entirely..." Tyr spoke up again hesitantly because he wasn't about to get Sydney all worked up over this. As if she wasn't already though.

"Yeah,, right. Like it wasn't my own hands that slaughtered the only family I ever knew..." Syd replied bitterly. "Nothing will change the fact that it was my hands that killed all of the sisters at the abbey."

Gabriel jumped into the trees again and sat down on the branch. "what has happened to this girl? what has happened to her family?" all sorts of questions jumped into Gabriels head. He wanted to help her, but he hardly knew how... or even why.

The dragon fell silent. To Sydney, it seemed that Tyr didn't know what to say in response. Or the dragon was just trying to not upset her any more than she already was upset. In that silence, Syd caught the sound of something moving in the trees. Her head snapped to look in the direction the sounds had come from. "Who's there?" she called out as she slowly and carefully made her way towards the sound.

The Vampire frantically looked around. She was coming his way... "Should I go away? Or should I just stay here, and face... what I kinda deserve anyway?" he asked himself. Not knowing what to do, he just stayed on the branch he landed on in the first place.

When the only answer she received was utter silence, Sydney frowned. There better not be anyone listening in to her talk with Tyr just now. "It's no use hiding. I know you're there." she called out, despite not having any idea who or even what was nearby.

Gabriel stood still, hoping that she would give up, and just go on. he didn't know what else to do. If he moved away, she would see him, and possibly recognise him. if he went down to her, she would probably not really like him for eavesdropping on her.

"Syd... There's no one there." Tyr said, hoping to provide some sort of distraction to give Gabriel some time to think up what to do.

Sydney gave a small glare over her shoulder at the dragon. "I know I heard something, Tyr." she replied curtly. By now, she had stopped walking and was standing beneath the tree which Gabriel was hiding in. Fortunately for Gabriel, Sydney hadn't looked up into the branches yet, or she would see him right away. She then turned her attention back forward. "It's stupid for you to hide. It would be much to your own advantage to show yourself now."

He wasn't really worried about maybe her trying to fight him, he was strong enough to take most beings. But he didn't know how she would react. Still he decided he might as well just show himself. He jumped out of the tree and landed in front of her. "So, we meet again."

Sydney jumped, tensing, as a person dropped down out of the branches to land directly in front of her by a couple of feet. When she saw who it was, however, Sydney scowled. "What the hell are you doing here?" she demanded.

"well... frankly... if I would honestly tell you why I'm here, you wouldn't believe me." Gabriel responded looking her in the eyes. "But maybe I should just leave."

"Try me." Sydney answered flatly, crossing her arms over her chest. She had this look on her face that clearly stated she wanted answers. And she planned on getting them, whether Gabriel wanted to give them or not. Which meant that if Gabriel did decide to leave right now, Syd would just continue to follow him around until he explained himself. Yes. it was rather tedious, but once Syd put her mind to something, she was not going to give up.
