Sebastian sat up straight in his bed, knowing what felt like his own kids were home, but knowing he was still too weak to do much about it. Maria, on the other hand, had grabbed a basket of laundry to be washed and went downstairs.
Kaine led Saya through those corridors and halls once more, but when they got to his room, he stopped. He made sure her eyes were still closed, then went out his window. There was a garden there, with a make-shift cobblestone path that led to a fountain. There were candles everywhere, and a box of matches near the windowsill. Kaine went, and lit each one. The sun was just setting, casting an orange and golden glow upon the area. Smiling, and feeling accomplished to finally be able to show this to someone, Kaine went to Saya. He helped her out the window, and then announced, "Alright... Open your eyes."
