"Yeah, I can see that," she replied dryly, angling her blade upwards as to be wary of any attacks that might fall her way. Her blinding eyes glared out at the man who used the electrical attacks; it annoyed her to no end that a vampire used her own power all willy-nilly. She was the electrical demon witch, wasn't she? However, that thought struck another idea into her mind, and a flash of a smile caught on her thick lips. So caught up was she in using the lightning, she had completely forgotten her other skills as a black-magic artist.
Her other hand, the one that hadn't been busy with the sword, flexed thoughtfully as she surveyed Setsuga's opponent. She stepped out of the way, merely watching, as the fight continued, her gaze occasionally flitting back and forth between demon and vampire. However, as she watched, something whizzing toward her head snagged her attention, and she swiftly brought up the blade of her weapon to deflect whatever was darting toward her. It crashed against the energy-charged metallic surface and shattered, falling to her feet as shards of dark red crystals. Peering down at the splinters, she discovered with amusement it was solidified blood. That's interesting, she thought, pursing her lips for a moment. I don't know how useful that actually is, but with the amount of blood in this area, I suppose it has some amount of worth. She did note, however, that only as blood, it wasn't very strong. Darcy stood straight again, blinking when she spotted the new, very tall vampire man materialize beside the man that Setsuga was fighting. Ah, so he must've been the one to shoot the blood arrow. Hm. She eyed the weapon in his hand- obviously made from blood as well, seeing as it was melded into a staff-thing just seconds before he arrived. She didn't bother answering his question- was the answer not clear enough? He would learn soon, though, just how powerful Saga's Second-In-Command really was.
The woman's blade flashed silver and red in the bloodied night sky, and her wrist flicked to bring the sword slicing toward the ground. She glanced at the fight again, not very impressed by the newcomer, and watched when the other vampire man drew upon another electrical attack. As if in response, Darcy's eyes blazed white, her mind darkening with disgust as she felt the lightning bending to the man's will. A growl rose in her throat and she brandished her sword again, which hissed and glowed in answer to the other man's blade. She wanted to fight this man, see what his capabilities with the lightning was, but she didn't want to intrude on Setsuga.
However, this whim was easily forgotten. In a flash, she saw the man's blade stab toward Setsuga, white-hot with electrical energy. She didn't even have a moment to think before she jerked forward, slashing down her blade on his, the clang of metal against metal jarring her bones. However, the second their weapons connected, she felt the jolt of electricity from his attack wash over her. But this wasn't without an attack of her own- she met his power with a wall of lightning which surged down her arms and poured into her sword, just enough to counter act his own offense. It wouldn't even reach his blade, let alone be able to be absorbed by him. Darcy was smart enough to realize he might've had that ability.
The purple witch trusted the bone demon, though, and as quickly as she had sucked Kedar's lighting from his sword, pushed herself away from her ally's opponent, and settled herself a few feet away. She wasn't about to let that man take her power! Even if Setsuga could handle it, Darcy sure wasn't about to allow it. Sneering toward the vampire, she turned and faced the others that fought around them. The flames caused by the wild lightning strikes from the storm leapt and blazed around them, roaring and smothering them in intense heat. But the demons could handle it- it was almost welcome, even, a little slice of home.
From the energy that Darcy had absorbed, like a sponge in water, from the man, she gathered in her palm. With a snarl, she slapped the blade of her sword, which all but exploded from the amount of energy being exerted on it. The light writhed on its gleaming surface, snapping, hissing, and crackling loudly, and with a shout, Darcy plunged the blade into the earth. A great fissure formed around the weapon, and above the clouds bellowed and shot down multiple arms of light. It struck several beings, demon and vampire alike, and burned down the remainder of whatever vegetation that had managed to survive from her first attack. This one only lasted for a few seconds, though, and with a gasp, Darcy stumbled, using the hilt of her sword as leverage to keep standing. Expelling that much amount of magic as exhausting, and she would need to replenish before she could draw on her lightning for a direct hit again. For the mean time, she would have to suffice with simple spells, and hope that Setsuga could fend off the others long enough for her to replenish.
[ That's fine. I don't get online very often now a days, so probably a very important fight including Darcy wouldn't be such a hot idea. :3 ]
