Christine nodded as he said this. "Well I'm sure Dante could train you like he had offered to train me." she said as she looked over at him with a smile, "Right?"

Dirik looked up at Dante. "I'm fine." He smiled, nervously. "I-I'm fine." He was always nervous around normal human people, yet he was so calm around Xance who was anything but human and normal. He took the kitten in his arms and sighed. "I'm okay. But thank you. I-I ought to get going now." He stood up as the kitten purred.

Dante smiles. "i'm always looking for new students".

"I- I really have to go." He bowed. "Th-thank you." He ran off, leaving the groceries behind.

Christine watched as the boy ran leaving his groceries behind before excusing himself. A confused expression danced on her face as she looked over at him, "Is he alright?"

He kept running until he reached the house. He placed the kitten down outside and caught his breath. Xance finally reached the house, he had been taking his time. He saw Dirik hunched over, breathing heavily. "Dirik, are you okay?" Dirik looked up. "Huh? Yeah.. I was just getting groceries-" he exhaled. "but.." he looked around for them. "I forgot them!" Xance helped him up. "It's fine. Oh, and what" he asked, pointing to the kitten. "is that?" Dirik smiled and giggled a little. "A kitten. ^_^"Xance sighed. He hated kittens. And Dirik knew it. "Where'd you leave the groceries?" Dirik placed the kitten in Xance's hands and smiled. "I'll go get them!" he called as he ran off.

Christine smiled as he held her hand tightly. She leaned her head against his shoulder as she shut her eyes.

He ran back, this time more slowly. He saw the two from earlier. "Ex-excuse me." He picked up his purchases. "I-I'm sorry!" This time back, he walked, for he was exhausted.

Christine opened her eyes as she heard the boys voice. She laughed at his nervous tone, "Are you alright?" she asked as he began to retreat.

He stopped. "I-I'm fine. n__n" He turned and continued on, this time faster.

As the boy picked up the pace and walked from them she felt her head being turned from the boy. Her lips immediately was pressed against Dante causing her to go crimson. She pulled away her eyes slightly widened. She didn't expect him to like her like this, she thoguht they were friends. "D-did that j-just happen?" she murmured mostly to herself.
