TJ smiled a little before drifting off into Wonderland. He'd gotten to see Sai's smile again, though it wasn't the same one..just a smile. If he woke up in his own bed at the lab, realizing that all this was just a nightmare..or a dream.., he hoped he could remember it still. At some point during the night he'd gone onto the floor anyway, finding the couch uncomfortable after a while. It had begun to get cramped. The floor wasn't any better, but at least he wasn't loosing all the feeling in his legs anymore. Though it was hard and cold, TJ fell back to asleep easily.
When he awoke he didn't really remember how he got onto the floor, so he just assumed that he’d fallen off. After a while TJ sighed ans sat up, pushing his hair back. It had all come out of the leather band that it was tied into yesterday.. or most of it had, half was always out anyway. He pushed the green behind his ear and stood. The blue leather tie was on the couch. He took it and put the rest of his hair in a sloppy pony that hung from the bottom of his head. TJ didn’t like his hair much, because it always seemed to get in the way..and because of the ghastly color.. but he tried not to let it bother him. It had gotten that color because of an experiment he was working on when he was younger, around the age of fifteen. His sister had gotten angry with him and splashed the stuff on his face. It hurt like hell, but didn’t effect him in any other way then his eyes and hair. His blonde hair had gone bright green, and his dark blue eyes were then a very vibrant blue. TJ had been mad with his sister at first because of the pain and because he was blind for around a year, but after a while he just didn’t care.. at least he knew what the stuff did. Though he didn’t like it, he still refused to cut his hair. His mother would always say it was bad luck.. and he didn’t believe in bad luck or karma, but it was the only thing he had left to remember her by.
TJ brushed the dust off of his clothes, then sat back down on the couch. It was close to the ground, so he probably looked like some sort of giant sitting on it.. especially with Sai sleeping there, too. Sai looked so..so ”Cute.” he said, chuckling a little afterward. ”You’re adorable.. and yet you act as though you’re the biggest baddest man there is.” he added, smiling. But Sai was more then cute, and he definitely fit in with the attractiveness that followed after being “big” and “bad”. But TJ had wanted to take the opportunity to call him cute while he was sleeping, being that he was scared of the consequences of if he’d said it when the other was awake..
TJ turned his head from Sai, looking elsewhere. He didn’t understand why he was thinking such strange things. Maybe he could figure it out later? No.. there was a lot to do today. TJ wanted to talk to Eru.. the kid had actually lived here, right? He’d most likely know a whole ton about these “night” and “day” things. TJ just wanted to collect the facts and get the heck out of here. He didn’t like it at all, being that for the short time he’d been here the only emotions he’d really felt were ones that he didn’t understand. Sighing, TJ rested his elbow on the couch and put his head in his hand, wondering who was talking downstairs..or laughing.. maybe both? Were Eru and Shadow back?
