Jade looked down to see a man readying his weapons. She gracefully landed and stood, tall and proud with not a hint of fear. " Hello! I am Jade. And who, may I ask, are you? " She said, taking all of her weapons and laying them on the floor. This was a common peace offering, though sometimes dangerous depending on who you are dealing with. "I mean no harm, and I have a few questions. Do you know a girl named Scarlett?? Or a girl named Rathina? They are my best friends and I can't find them anywhere." She said, with a look of worry on her face.

Nilo moved his grip on his weapons. "I am Nilo. And how do you know Rathina and Scarlet." He said steadying his grip cautiously.

Jade saw him change his grip on his weapons and smiled. " Didn't I already cover that I mean no harm?? I met them while trying to defeat Septimus, the evil low-lifed coward that he is, and have been working with them for a while. Scarlett and Rathina are some of my best friends. Do you know them? " She figured that he did, but didn't want to intrude on his mind. He already didn't trust her, considering how tense he looked. " Nilo, are you with or against Septimus? " Jade added, again smiling.She wanted to seem innocent in case he was an impostor, to get the most information she can. Her wings were spread behind her, and she was covered in mud. Her sort of new dress was now in tatters, and her hair was tangled. She was so frantic looking for everyone she didn't even notice her appearance. Someone must have definitely knocked her out with some serious knock out juice. Ok, so I look like crap. Maybe that's why he doesn't trust me? She thought to herself.

" Because I put my weapons down, I don't kill people for pleasure, and the small fact that I actually know Scarlett and Rathina. Does that answer your question? " Jade said, smiling once more. It wasn't a pleasure smile, it was a forced smile. He was to cautious for his own good, and she needed to find her friends fast. " How do I know I can trust you? "

"I haven't killed you yet." He said smirking at her. He was feeling a little bit of bloodlust and really wanted to attack something but was keeping it back.

Jade laughed. " And obviously I haven't killed you yet. " She sensed his blood lust. He wanted some serious action. " Don't tempt me. " She added, smiling. It was a harmless joke, meant to be funny. She hoped he didn't take it the wrong way.

Nilo smiled and put his weapons away. "I beleive you." He said walking towards her. "Rathinas outside but Scarlet ran away, we cant find her." He said looking down at the ground sadly.
