Eternally Bound with My Burning Soul
Come, Embrace the Fist!

”Just avoid conversations about spiders when it comes to ol’ Reggie.”

Suddenly the Leandor guards burst out in a chorus of raucous laughter, but immediately returned to stoic statues as their charge glared at them once more while he was being pulled to his feet gently by Athena, too distracted to realize that their arms were linked. In his defense, it was a rather nasty situation. One of such that he preferred never to bring up incidents involving spiders ever again. Ever. A walk about the place didn’t sound too bad either, it meant getting away from his comrades who would take much pleasure in making jeers behind their back at the fact the “Eternally Single Prince” was now on the path to getting married. Plus he wouldn’t be sitting in a seat eating snacks for who knows how long until he got the courage to actually voice some decent conversation. Which was a bit ironic considering what the people of Leandor tried to upheld. The Prince seemed caught up in his own thoughts while Athena went to talk with her sister, only snapping out of it when they had linked arms again and she asked him if he was ready to go. ”Eh?” Looking over his shoulder Vyse noticed exactly how little distance there was between us, not to mention he was actually looking at Athena when he had been staring at the wall the entire time when he’d been sitting on the couch and eating. A blush rose to his face which was rather prevalent against his skin, and he looked away immediately to cough as if trying to excuse it. Not only was he a Prince of Leandor, but he was the man called the Stern Fist of Justice! How could he let such a little thing like being close to a woman bother him. Even if she was quite lovely, had enticing eyes and full lips..

Vyse coughed again, clearing his throat and straightening himself for a moment before answering. ”Let’s.” He said in a surprisingly clear tone, void of the emotion he felt before starting to walk, allowing himself to be led around by Athena. All he had to do was keep looking around at the scenery about them and try not to focus so much on the fact that they were linking arms and close to each other. Well, not really close but to him it was definitely too close to comfort. Considering he went to extremes to avoid women when it came to the formal functions at the castle of Leandor. From scaling the side of the castle walls to jumping out of the window, Vyse did it all. In fact it had become something of a local pastime for the noblewomen of the realm to try and get him to dance with one of them, much to the entertainment of everyone involved, even his parents at times. Sadists. Letting out a sigh of frustration mixed with annoyance at himself, the man scratched the back of his head . ”First impressions or not.. I still seem like a pretty pathetic guy. I’m not cut out for this sort of thing at all.. I’m surprised you’re not upset with me or anything. I wouldn’t say that I expected you to protest this marriage, after all even I know the responsibilities one has as royalty, and that things such as this had the possibility of happening.” For all he knew she could have had some other person in her heart and was being forced into this out of the duty that came with being a part of the royal family. Huh, so this was what it felt like to have a lack of confidence in one's self. Damn it was annoying.

Have you ever thought about what protects our hearts[♥]?
Just a cage of rib bones--and other various parts...
So it's fairly simple to cut right through the mess...
...And stop that muscle that makes us confess.

º Gwen strolled down one of the many staircases of the castle, gripping the mahogany railing as if her life depended on it--which it did. These shoes were like the spawn of Satan, they just were waiting for a chance to make her trip over herself and tumble down the stairs to her doom. Once she safely made it downstairs, she heard voices in the lounge and decided to peek in just in time to see Thena link arms with some strange man and begin to lead him from the room. Not wanting to get caught up in whatever matters her elder sister was dealing with, she made a hasty retreat to the front door, shoving it open with a bit of difficulty, and trotting down the stairs.

She immediately was glad she had chosen to go outside as opposed to back upstairs. The air was warm and breezy, and the smell of flowers lingered all around the castle. It was safe to assume that Kai was with her horse, so Gwen decided to meet up with her little sister in the barn, or at least check for her there.

She lifted her skirts a bit more than was needed, and began her trek towards the horse stables. The only downside to the building were all of the cats that lived there. Gwen grimaced at the thought of the pesky animals clawing at her legs and dress, swatting at her train, and getting their hair all over her. 'Dumb beasts...' she thought with a frown, finally reaching the door. It was already open, so she walked inside, looking around for Kai. Of course, she was with her prized posession: her white horse. It really was a magnificent animal, and a very sweet one to boot.

"Kai-chan!" she called out with a grin, making her way over the the horse's stall, avoiding the felines laying lazily in her path. "Who is that stiff that Thena's with?" she asked curiously, stroking the horse's neck with a gloved hand.

The castle's library. It was the only place that she wanted to be in at that moment. She would pass by the meal hall, out of habit taste the food (delicious, as always), and left before the cooks could come in and give her a proper greeting. She may have been left feeling empty, but she'd be damn if she messed up the routine.

She sat in the library, her books sprawled out from last night's studies on the table and chair. Maria never worried about people touching her things. No one usually went in the library besides herself. Melody and Seiko would occasionally go in, but it wasn't an everyday happening, though she wished it was. The eldest daughter enjoyed a person's company, especially her family members. She needed to be by someone in order to feel completely satisfied. But who would want to go to a library with her? With boring books? No one she supposed. Ah well.

Maria usually missed having company, but today she was surprisingly alright with just herself. She sat down in her usual chair, sitting in her usual position (legs on the chair in an indian-like fashion), and grabbed her usual books; starting where she left off from the night.

Now, Maria really didn't like books one would normally think of. She couldn't recall ever picking up a fictional book. None of the books she liked had dragons, fairies, or some heroic lass who saved the day. Her books were strictly non-fiction, sticking to the reality of the world; just the way she liked it.

She was currently trying to indulge herself in a Physiology book. But nothing would stick in her mind. In the optic nerve and out the other. She turned the page.

"The Reproductive System; Becoming Your Very Own Stork.." she mumbled. Another page turn

      Babies. Man. Woman. Family.

"I can't believe I'm getting married," she groaned, sinking her face into the book's page.

[[This one's so boring, sorry, kind of had brain blank here. D: ]]

After making his way back to his chambers, Demitri met with his personal servant, Aurelia. A sweet girl, that Aurelia. Quiet and obedient, but seeming to possess not a single self-serving thought in her brain. She didn't seem to be very independent, either. Which was fine and all, but...Demitri wasn't one to favor those 'run with the rest of the herd' girls. He liked a sense of individuality; a girl who was unafraid to speak her mind. And she had to be intelligent, of course. Otherwise, Demitri wouldn't be able to stay in her presence for very long without going silently insane.

Aurelia had picked out the best suit in Demitri's closet, just for this occasion. After all, he was to make his best impression on his future wife when he traveled to Hemelia this afternoon. It was a lovely piece, one of elegant material of a flattering color to his complexion, eyes, and hair. Little details embroidered in golden thread would help to bring out his eyes, his self-labeled best feature. After having her comb his hair and make sure his suit was in proper order, Demitri was officially ready to go. It was a fairly long trip to Hemelia, so he needed to leave early.

Chewing on his lower lip a bit, Demitri made his way to his private coach, in order to begin the journey. He hoped that it wouldn't take too long, but what else did he have to occupy his time? Oh, that's right: his favorite book. Once he was seated comfortably in the seat, the coachman snapped the reins and off they went.

Kaiko was just about to unlatch Gabriel's stall when Gwen made her presence known. She turned to face her older sister with a smile, "Good morning, Gwen!" She pushed her bangs from her face as her sister asked her question and Kai had to search her mind for the answer, "I think he said his name is Vyse..Leandor. He's a very odd prince, nothing like the ones in my books." She stroked Gabriel's snout again before lifted the bag up and over for him to eat the oats which rest inside.

She took a deep breath, enjoying the scent the barn had. It was filled with the auroma of animals, hard-work, and hay. If there was anything Kaiko loved more than being here with Gabriel it would be to be in her bed with her dreams of Prince Charming.

Kaiko moved from Gabriel towards one of the cats that lay on the ground in front of Gwen. She scooped the orange tabby from her resting place and pet her hand along it's back. She loved all animals, and made a point to name each and every one that wandered into the area. This peticular feline was Topaz. Kai rubbed the cat's chin as it purred against her blue bodice. She glanced back to her sister who had a certain distaste for the felines Kaiko was always bringing about, so she dropped the cat to the ground before brushing some of the fur off her dress.

"So, sister. Did you happen to see a stranger on your way here? Thena said that we have a lost guest, or something along those lines," Kaiko recalled. Then the big questioned came from her lips, "Do you know why all these people are here, Gwen?"

The guards sudden outburst of laughs caught Athena's attention and even made her chuckle a little. She was glad though, that his guards were that of a joyous group. Her guards weren't this fun. But then again neither was she, so she didn't really notice their staunch demeanours until now. Though the idea of the Prince being afraid of spiders and women was very amusing. He was supposed to be representing a land of brave and couragous people. Yet, she found it ironic that his fears could be so miniscule to even teh most common farmer. Maybe, he was more comfortable in a different enviroment. Athena hoped to find this soon, as she saw the red rise to his cheeks when he finally even glanced at her. She knew his turn to cough was an attempt to excuse it, but she didn't make this obvious. In fact, she tried to pretend she didn't notice the embarassment at all. He would probably be even more embarassed if he knew she saw.

His response was much clearer than before though, and she felt heartened by his faultless tone. They began to walk with him and heard him speak. He really didn't sound the upmost confident with himself. She frowned a little as his words, displeased with his put downs of himself. "Pathetic is much too harsh of a word, Vyse. A little timid around women... and spiders apparently," she chuckled between, and this wasn't a put-on laugh either. She actually found this funny. "But not pathetic. You are trying and that always leads to improvement. That's gives you enough right to be cut out for... 'this sort of thing'" Athena spoke clearly and confidently. She did believe her words. The fact that he even pulled out a notebook was brave enough. Although, she didn't really respond to his mention of duties. The truth of her reluctance to get married, could possibly further bring his confidence down. She wouldn't want this. "So," she said, trying to change the subject somewhat. "What is 'your sort of thing', then?" a curve on her lips made a smile on her face and she glanced at him with interest. He had said before he had been a travelling person. Oh, the things and adventures he must have experienced... Athena knew she wouldn't help but be a little envious. She loved her sisters to death, but would take the chance to travel the world in a heartbeat. Of course, only if she was promised the care of her family would be in place.

Vyse blinked, feeling relaxed by her words. When she asked him what he did, the man tapped his cheek in thought and then grinned. It was a grin filled with pride and confidence, marking a brief return to his usual attitude. ”I protect the smiles of the people and return them to those that lost it. It was a dream of mine as a child and something I will continue to do no matter what. Heh, it’s actually kind of embarrassing how it all started. When I was younger I did nothing but train and study to become the future Lord of Leandor and inherit my father’s position and I was stuck inside of the castle for so long. I didn’t like being in the castle and in one of my rare jaunts out when I was accompanied by an advisor, I came across a town of people who were unhappy and I asked why. They said bandits kept stealing their crops and making life tougher for them. Even the watchers of Leandor aren’t absolute, we still have problems with minor thieves and bandits, ones that don’t cause enough of a ruckus to get noticed and are good at covering their tracks. I wound up promising that I’d take care of it, and I convinced my parents to let me go out on my own for ‘self study’ so long as I was accompanied by my advisor and sixty men to act as guard. I kind of took those sixty men and turned them into an army on accident.” The look on his face was one of nostalgia while he remembered his first time protecting those that were oppressed and bringing justice to the oppressors. ”We went and beat up the bandits and even convinced them to help the villagers out instead of inconveniencing them. From there on I wound up doing pretty much the same thing while I traveled, leaving Leandor and heading to a bunch of other lands. One of the men in the guard here comes from another country even, he wound up joining us after we helped out his people with their yearly harvest. Before I knew it, three years passed and I wound up back in Leandor without realizing it. I know it’s rather irresponsible of me but I didn’t even think of coming home even once when I was out, I’m just happy my family doesn’t mind spoiling such an unrefined Prince. Granted I’m never doing such a long jaunt ever again.”

The man waved a hand after he finished his story, not having intended to speak so much or so long, he was actually a bit winded even. No one had ever really asked him about what the Prince had done nor held too much interest in it back in Leandor. They simply assumed it was the blood of the royal family making him go out and do such outrageous things, it probably wasn’t that too far from the truth either. ”I just can’t stand seeing or hearing about mistreated people. You could just say I have a really eccentric sense of justice. I don’t regret a thing though.” Indeed, Vyse seemed positively radiant as he shined with his usual cheery personality. Being depressed didn’t suit him, being unconfident was unbecoming of him, he was always at his best with a smile on his face and pride in his heart. Shrugging his shoulders, Vyse continued to walk while looking at the various items they passed, rather interested in the slightly different artistic style presented in the Gorngus kingdom than in his own. Truly a sense of ‘wisdom’ did present itself within this place. Kind of made him feel like an idiot a bit. Then again if anyone asked any of his men they would clearly point out that Vyse is indeed an idiot. But he’s their idiot.

The sudden outburst was quite unexpected. But she listened to him thoroughly. How could one not? He was very enthusiastic about his story and she was glad to see him finally breaking out. Vyse was much more confident than she predicted and he was suddenly more as his Kingdom represented. He had a large grin on his face, which she found suited him more than the awkward and unconfident appearance. Athena also couldn't waver how more fetching he looked with that curve on his lips and glint in his eye too. Though, who couldn't find passion quite striking? And that's what he was full of. His story was of bravery, fights, leadership... adventure. It was almost like hearing one of her novels read aloud. Her eyes watched his face intently as he spoke and she was pulled into the story with him. Athena had forgotten they were walking to view the house but was more in tuned with her listening. Three years out traveling the world. Three years of fables and experiences. A little excitement rose in her. A feeling she hadn't felt since the first time she picked up her favourite novel. She was indeed right when she predicted she would be envious of his adventures. For she was.

When he finished, he was almost breathless and his hand flailed in the air. Athena now felt more relaxed, as he seemed more comfortable. "And you shouldn't." she replied simply. It was a rather pathetic reply considering the speech he had just sung. It sounded amazing, why regret it? "You have no idea how much I'd love to leave and travel the world..." These words were merely thoughts that got out. She spoke them much softer and glanced out into nothing like she was in daydream. For she was. Once she quickly realised what she had said, she turned back to him and quickly spoke of something else. "I just wish more had a sense of justice such as yours, Prince Vyse. Though, I'm sure this runs in your blood. Leandor: 'The Court of the Chivalrous and Brave'." she spoke it like it was on show, though this was in a exhaggerated manner. "I'll be honest. I was a little worried that the eldest Leandor could possibly be beaten by the presence of a woman and a poor spider." she teased and laughed at this. These were merely small fears of his, and she knew this. But couldn't help but tease him. His guards seem to do it so often too. "Though, I think you may be improving. I dear say, you spoke rather fine just then." After the tease, she thought it right to congratulate him for his achievement of speaking to her without hiccuping at all.

Taking in where they were now walking, she saw her sanctuary up ahead. The library. Of course, she had a feeling the Prince was more accustomed to more "hands-on" activities than to pry in a library. For nearly a first time, Athena was a little embarassed that her story would be that of reading other stories. He had just announced such a wonderous story and she couldn't help but feel... intimidated. This was an odd feeling, considering she usually had knowledge and intelligence as upmost importance. Though, that's what was expected in the "Realm of the Wise". How odd of a pair they would be. Almost opposite. But this didn't mean she didn't do any outdoor activites, no. In fact, she was quite interested in challenging him to a fair round of fencing. He had been fighting for three years on real action and she had been training and practicing for more than eight. Which would be more valuable in a battle. More knowledge or experience?

A Princess, I suppose...

"Life is not about waiting out the storm. It's about learning to dance in the rain." - Unknown

Prudence was fuming in the Hemelia's carriage, her thin lips pursed in an expression of righteous anger. That stupid, foolish girl. She'd spoil her gown and everything would be ruined. She'd be arriving late, even. Why couldn't she have just stayed in the carriage and accepted everything properly? It was almost like she didn't want to get married!

Meanwhile, Melody was completely at ease. She couldn't ride properly wearing a dress, but sidesaddle was sufficient for now. She just couldn't gallop. What a pity. Stroking the bay mare's mane, she wished she had her own steed with her. The black stallion courser she usually rode had been left at the stables at home. Ah, well. She'd see him when she got back from this ridiculous ordeal. "Hup." She nudged the mare into a canter, smiling at the small breeze on her face at the speed. It truly was difficult riding sidesaddle without a saddle, but she could manage.

The carriage rolled on along the road, until it came into view of another. Prudence eagerly pressed her face against the glass for a moment, trying to see who it may have been. She let out a sigh of relief once she saw and sat back in her seat again. It was one of the Magnisius brothers. Of little importance- He was not betrothed to her lady Melody. Therefore her humiliating position now wouldn't greatly effect either. He must have been on his way to meet Maria- Prudence practically squealed with delight.

Melody soon heard the creaking and plodding footsteps of a carriage. Listening closely, she could tell it was someone of high importance, or at least one with a skilled stable hand. All the horses' hooves were times out perfectly to create a steady, rhythmic thunder on the dusty road. She angled the mare off to the side, giving room to whoever was so important they needed a carriage all to themselves. As it passed by, Melody saw it boasted the Magnisius emblem. Ah. Maria's man. She couldn't make out the face of whoever was inside - Prince Demitri, she supposed - But she hoped he was good enough for her sister. She deserved the best. Both of her sisters did. She simply turned her head and kept on her way to the Leandor castle, knowing the long journey would most likely ruin her appearances for her betrothed Prince Alwin.

Just the way she wanted it.

Red seeped into his cheeks once again as Vyse took interest in the state of the ceiling. Yup, no cracks and in perfect condition, that was a fine ceiling alright. She had a wonderful laugh too, like music, it was something impossible to not like. ”If you want to see the world than just ask. I’ll take you.” He grinned again, having gotten somewhat comfortable with the situation and stopped being so tense. All that stress in his body didn’t suit him anyway. Turning his attention to the door they were approaching, the man just had to note how majestic it looked, but couldn’t ignore the creeping feeling coming up his spine, meaning this could be the one place he had problems with dealing back at home. The Library. Studying wasn’t his thing, he just couldn’t be convinced to remain seated in one place for hours on end reading book after book after book, besides he had advisors and the like for knowing such things. Vyse had heard tales of the Gorngus Library and had to admit he was definitely going to feel dwarfed upon stepping in there. Pointing a finger at the library doors, he looked over at Athena. ”Princess Athena, if you spend most of your days in that place then you are the most amazing person I’ve ever met. Just looking at the door gets me intimidated. Granted I get told that I’m not a person for the books a lot. Sometimes I wonder If that’s just a hidden insult on my intelligence..”’ Maybe it wouldn’t be all that bad, it was a library after all. Perhaps he could find some interesting books and the like, something centered on justice would be best. Yes, his favorite idea and concept since being birthed into the world, a thing he could spend hours on end talking about without the slightest hint of stopping or even getting tired of the subject.

Metal clanked against the ground as the group now walked in silence. Well technically Lance was speaking to himself as he typically did, mumbling little things to keep himself distracted as they searched from the King and Queen of Gorgnus. Not that finding them would be so difficult since the main chambers was easily found in any kingdom. Once he visited another kingdom, could not recall which but the main hall from the entrance led them straight to the King and Queen. Unlike their home which has many twist and turns. Finding his room was often a challenge for the new maids and servants first entering into the work place.

And what do we have here Thought the quite brunette. His eyes fixing on a few people in the distance.

From what he could tell they had to be some kind of royalty for how they carried themselves. Someone would call this spying however Ari was only observing their behaviors in case he was to have a dialog with them in the future. Unlikely but you never know. First there had been three of them, one taller female with another shorter seemingly younger girl. Most likely around his age just from judging on appearance. Then there was this male, just from first glance he knew he was nothing like his brothers and he would not like him one bit.

    Oh.

Tilting his head one of the guards from Gorgnus had confronted them telling them that there would be a change of plans. Something about a meeting of some kind with his head guard. Taking the opportunity Ari slipped away from the guards once more, easily doing this task since they were always distracted by the littlest things.

Seriously father you really need to invest in more faithful men. Look how easily I escaped them. A small smile emitted from his lips as he turned down a hall.

Walking for a bit the brunette eventually came to a halt, hearing the voices from before. One of them was from the younger of the two girls he had seen in the view. Not that he would confront them but he wondered what they were speaking about. All this talk about marriage and arrangement between the kingdoms made Ari laugh on the inside. People were so strange. How can you bind two people who have never met together in such a thing as marriage.

Since it was not the best idea to speak with them; now having a better view of them, Ari slipped his hands deep into his pockets and decided to observe one of the rooms. Course little did he know it was one of their rooms.

Maria rubbed her stiff neck. She had been reading in the same position for so long, it became sore. She stretched in her chair, her seating made it appear the large chair was engulfing her. She forgot how long she had been in there reading, so determined to lose the thoughts of today's events. The sun rays were entering the library through the large window panes, and it hit her, the chair, and all of the table.

      All of the table.

"Oh no, I missed the mid afternoon meal!" Maria quickly put down her books, too flustered to realize some of her books fell off the table and sprawled on the floor. This day was so strenuous that she got lost in her own schedule! For you see, she stays in the library until the sun hits half of the round table, and then she ambles her way to the meal hall. But the sun hit all of the round table; that clearly meant she was at least an hour behind! If she wasn't in the castle, she might have had some nice words to pronounce in this predicament.

She scurried down the halls, clattering and being extremely unladylike in her steps. That is until she almost collided with a woman.

"Maria?" her mother was mere inches away from her as her daughter skidded to a halt. Damn. "Oh, uh, good afternoon mother," Maria curtsied, skirmish. She was still uneasy over their last confrontation. She would prefer not to have another. "I'm rather in a hurry, your Majesty, so if you'd excuse me - " she tried to pass by her only to be held back. Another damn. Did the swear jar count if you said unflattering words only in your head?

"I noticed; you're late for your meal time. You're rather predictable at where you usually head off to," her mother laughed. "You'll be happy to know the Prince of Maginius is on his way now." Maria nodded, looking at the floor. It was so pitiful to let someone see her like this! But she was so ashamed.

"Ah, I see, thank you." Suddenly she felt tiny, thin arms go around her, and she found herself being hugged by the Queen. Maria couldn't help but hug her back. She loved her mother so much, the bond that started since she was born was so strong. No words were said, but both mother and daughter felt relieved.

"So, mother, may I ask where Melody is? I haven't see her all day," Maria asked after separating. She remembered entering Melody's room, only to find an unmade bed. She only assumed Melody might have, well, went climbing up trees or running with the mares outside of the castle. Something of that sorts. She usually did those kinds of things.

"Oh, she knew of the arranged marriage for days, and was sent to the Leandor's house this morning," her mother replied casually, as though it wouldn't bother Maria that a younger daughter knew something before she did. Maria bit her tongue. "We thought she could use an...adventure. We thought both you and Seiko would have felt more comfortable to the idea if the princes came here in your own, normal place."

Damn, the Queen knew Maria well. The Queen laughed as she saw Maria give her the 'you-think-you're-so-smart' look. She ruffled her daughter's hair. "Finish your meal quickly and put on your best robes. You want to impress the Prince, don't you? You're the oldest, set the example dear."

"But after my meal I usually go and check up on the seamstress..." before she could be heard, her mother already turned the corner. "Guess this whole day is going to ruin my plans." Sigh.

`~ Isn't there a Ϣhite Кnight upon a fiery steed?~`
`~Late at night I toss and turn and Ðʀɇдм of what I need.~`

ᆙᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᆖᅨ

Kaiko waited for her older sister to reply, but nothing came. It seemed no one knew. She stroked Gabriel's snout as he ate upon the oats in the bag. The steed had a very balanced diet, eatting all the proteins and nutriants that it needed to keep a perfectly white coat and strong body. After a few moments of silence she removed the bag from Gabriel's head and hung it on the nail nearby. Kaiko placed her hand on the latch to his stall and looked towards her sister, "Gabriel needs to excersise, and, well. I wouldn't want him to tramble your beautiful dress." She said this, despite her own attire was the saphire dress that her father and Athena would have a cow if it were ruined.

She unlatched the gate and led the majestic mammal to the outer gated field. Kai ran her hand over his side and gave him a gentle pat. At that he took a trot around the green area before deciding on one peticular spot. She smiled, watching him move about, his muscles shifted beautifully and his mane flew like it was a scene from some big shot production. This is where Gabriel was to retreat to for the next few hours. It was a lovely day, and it would do him some good to stress and such before she tried to ride him.

Kaiko felt kinda bad leaving Gwen like she did, but she seemed to be caught up in her own mind set at the moment. She knew Kaiko couldn't stand still for long, and well, Gwen would probably scold her about it later. She had something more curious come across her mind. Who was this mysterious, and lost guest?

A grin played across her lips as she set foot towards the fence. Her mind was jumbled with several thoughts about this lost figure, food, and her trying to remember if she stopped at letter X or Y in the older encyclopedia set. Kaiko placed her hands firmly on the fence, getting ready to jump it like she typically did every morning, lifting her right foot on one of the pieces of wood like a ladder. As she was in mid-jump, the frill of her dress caught a nail in the fence and ripped up the side in a loud tearing sound. This threw her off balance, sending her tumbling across the patch of grass and then onto the gravel and dirt path. "Owie..." Her eyes shut in slight pain as she pulled herself onto her feet, only to open them to take a gander at her palms. They were a little skinned, but nothing was bleeding. That was good. She then took a glance at her dress. The outer blue fabric was torn upwards, revealing the white camisole underneath. "My sisters are going to kill me," she whispered to herself.

She began sneaking her way back inside her home, making sure to avoid the eyes of the wandering butlers and maids. That's all she needed was for Margrat to come rushing to her in a frenzied panic about the condition of her gown. Kaiko blew lightly on her palms, they were burning for some reason. Most likely because she lost a layer of skin, but man, it hurt! She lucked out, making it to her door un-noticed. With a quiet turn of the knob she prepared herself for the light lavender scent of her vanity, which was covered in her latest comic books, her bed which would be a clean and made by Margrat, and her open closet where Athena hurriedly pulled the dress from this morning. Once the door was open, she was greeted by all these things, but also more. There, standing in her room, was this lost stranger. Kaiko held back the urge to scream, what was he doing in her room? Her most private of all places. Her widened optics watched him as she forgot about the torn up state she was in.

                                              --

Seiko continued to gaze at herself in the mirror as Keisai finally finished and bowed as she left the room. The youngest Hemelia princess couldn't even believe that today.. was the day she was meeting her betrothed. This was ridiculous ! Grumbling deep in her throat, Seiko stood from her stool to merely dantily walk towards the clothes cabinet. What was she to wear for this? How was she to walk? What if they didn't like eachother, and their marriage ended brutally !? Ugh, so many questions to think about. Seiko felt like her brain was going to explode at any given moment. Frantically searching through her dresses, Seiko stopped dead in her tracks at the one that was labelled 'In case of emergencys' Meaning. Don't use it unless your houe is burning down and you need a gown to wear in emergency to another kingdom. Cocking a brow, Seiko grabbed it from the rack and gently place it down upon her bed.

She began to remove the plastic around it and then put the dress up to herself to see a fit. She thought that it was perfect for what she was about to go through. The small princess looked apathetically at herself in the mirror. This was tortune, and she didn't want to do it just yet. But, she really had to choice. Finally Seiko had put on her dress and made sure that it was prim and proper before heading out of her room. Closing the door silently behind her, her gaze wondered down the halls filled with Maids and Servants. Stopping, Seiko had noticed her mother and Maria speaking down by the library. She had given her a hug, did that mean that everything was alright !? She really doubted it but whatever right. Picking up the bottom of her dress, the youngest made her way towards Maria. "Hey, Maria !" She called out as she began to jog down the hall towards her older sister. As she had finally reached her a puzzled looked crossed her face. "What did her highness want..?" She quickly looked past Maria, then made direct eye contact.

"Oh by the way, have you seen Melody at all this morning..I'm starting to worry about not seeing her at all..." Seiko's eyes went a little more pale as she stared at her sister. Melody wouldn't be one to not come and say goodmorning to her sis-- Oh, that's right. She's probably on her way to see Prince Leendor.. or whatever it was. Seiko still didn't know what her Prince's name was. but that didn't really bother her. Suddenly she gave Maria a slightl smile. "I'm starved, Want to get something to eat..?" Her eyes then gleamed at the thought of food in her belly.

[ Wow, this was a failed post. xD; ]
