The minute you walked through my door
I knew this love was forever more.
Then you told me all these lies,
See these tears filling up my eyes
.

Athena was become only slightly impatient. She was watching the humans again from the library up in Olympus. Her owl hooted delightfully as is rested above Athena's throne. She admired one of her many tapistries up on the wall. She looekd at what it displayed in the weave... It was of the humans offering their tidings to her. She quietly turned back, her silk and gold robes shifting with her slightest movements. She peered down at her temple
with a sigh. A few of the village wise men where parying up to her. She was most used to hearing thousands of prayers at a time in her head, tho it never bothered her. She granted one of the mens prayers with a nod of her head. She thought for a moment.. '' Two days.. I woner how my..Darling brother Hephaestus is doing. '' She smiled brightly.'' I do need my helmet fixed. Come to me, my love. '' She held out her arm and her owl hooted happily as it flew onto her arm. '' Come love, let us go down unto the earth and see our brother Hephaestus. ''

You taught me right from wrong.
And told me always to be strong,
But now i'm better off alone,
Searching for a better home

Hades watched Persephone and Hephaestus go off to her garden and he waved slightly at her. Come you hound. Hades said abruptly at Cerberus who had now returned to his side. My haven awaits. With that, Hades walked off with Cerberus at his side, to his haven atop the waterfall that feeds the River Styx. This was the only thing in the underworld that made him happy besides his beloved Persephone who, sad as it made him, was leaving in two days. Surely you can think of a way to keep brother calm should I decide to keep her down here. He said at Cerberus, half expecting an answer from him.
Where has the starlight gone?
Dark is the day
How can I find my way home?

Home is an empty dream
Lost to the night
Father, I feel so alone

Persephone left Hephaestus to her garden, allowing him to explore it and walked off towards Styx sensing her husband was there. The flowers around her feet as she stepped grew and died as always and she came up behind him wrapping her arms tight in an embrace. "What are you up darling? Planning the end of the world?" She smiled at him knowing he wasn't, but she liked to tease him about things like it. She noticed that Cerberus was with them and not at his post and tilted her head. "Darling, what ARE you up to?" She looked at him confused, feeling something was up.

You promised you'd be there
Whenever I needed you
Whenever I call your name
You're not anywhere

I'm trying to hold on
Just waiting to hear your voice
One word, just a word will do
To end this nightmare

Artemis moaned again, feeling surrounded by bored-ness, when suddenly she felt the earth shake around her. Taken by surprise, the Goddess slipped off her branch and tumbled to the ground, landing neatly on her hands and flipping onto her feet. Now what was th-- She began to say in a low whisper before the ground shook again. It couldn't possible be an earthquake, no, she'd have known it was coming. It was something else. Something awful. Something evil. Something like Kronos. Artemis laughed nervously to herself. Kronos? No way! She thought to herself reassuringly, steadying herself on the trunk of the tree that she'd just been sitting in, Zeusy locked him up deep down in the pits of Tartarus. There's no way he's getting out of-- The ground shook again, this tame tree began being uprooted. All the nervousness Artemis had shushed away reappeared, and she found herself running towards her Huntresses' camp, knowing that if it was Kronos, which is probably wasn't, that his first target would be the Demi-Gods or people with powers bestowed by Gods or Goddesses. people like her Immortal Huntresses. As she swung around a bend in the forest, the earth shook with such force that the tree next to her toppled down, nearly landing on her, and large rivets opened up in the ground around her. She could see large cracks in the earth running faster than she could towards her Huntresses' camp and as she tried to speed up, she cursed loudly. Oh, s**t! She yelped as a large piece of earth seemed to fall away before her, and as she jumped over the large hole she could see it was already too late. The Huntresses camp was sinking into the earth, and a barrier was keeping her from getting closer. Soon the whole thing was under, like a log in quicksand, and the barrier still kept her from getting closer. Not a normal barrier, oh no, this barrier would have had to been made by Hades, Poseidon, Zeus or... She gulped at the thoughts... Kronos.

Athena's eyes widened as she felt a slight shutter in the earth like it was sighing underneath her. She looked around her slowly, the nearest gods or goddess where... Apollo-flirting...Artemis- running? Something wasn't right.. The owl hooted in fear and began to flap its wings. Athena pet it to quiet down and she disappeared in a whisp of golden dust. She appeared behind Artemis with the golden dust surrounding her. " Artemis... " Athena's voice was calm, and cool, tho her thoughts where racing about in her head loudly. " What has happened here Artemis? " She looked calmly around and noted the powerfull barrier. She ran her hand across it, recreating an opening that quickly shut as fast as it had opened. 'Its so strong... this is impossible.' She began to become nervous..but only a little. " Artemis, fill me in my dear. " Athenas sharp gray eyes peered at her; she could already hear it in her mind. Something was wrong, seriously wrong.

Artemis had fallen to her knees but quickly stood back up when Athena approached. IT was... Stupid for a Goddess to be seen being so... Frail. As she brushed her deerskin leggings off, she said in a quick voice to Athena Athena, my sister, my Immortal Huntresses have been taken. At this point her voice choked up, and she had to wait a moment to speak again, Recently I have been feeling odd, as if something bad was happening. The earth began to shake, Athena, but I knew no earthquake was coming. I think it was something... Evil. Something that has as much power as Zeus, Hades, or Poseidon. Artemis could tell by the look coming over Athena's face that she knew what Artemis was getting at. Sister, I fear Kronos, our father, may be breaking his bonds in Tartarus.

Athena nodded, she relized this was true what Artemis had said. " Indeed, sister... you are most sadly correct. " She looked down at the hole. " Your Huntresses? My Gods..." Athena turned sharply keeping herself calm along with the owl. " Alright Atremis.. Do you have any way of tracking your Huntresses somewhere? Do they have a sent.. For I have an idea.. " Athena would travel down into the underworld to retrive Phersophone herself one day early. They needed her now, and there was no time for rules or laws. She would speak with Hades and he must take her down to Krono's cell. Athena knew she had to be sure she had the right idea about Kronos. Then, a terrible feeling came over Athena, she breathed slowly. " He's not doing this alone... there are creatures helping him. " She turned back to Artemis with her gray eyes filling with ideas and plans. " There isn't a way for out Grandfather to have just escaped by some unknown force. He has had to have help, some kind of...troop or..an army. " Athena shuttered for a moment. Could it be possible Kronos is escaping and creating an army to overthrow olympus once again and regain power over the world?

(( POOOOOSTTTT ))
Hades staggered a bit as the underworld shook. What in the world was that? He asked after regaining his balance, then looking at Cerberus and Persephone. Hades needed to act surprised, but he knew full and well what was happening. His hand had a part in it. Hmm... I have a hunch, but I'm not sure. He motioned his hand in the distance, at the heavily guarded Gates of Tartarus. I believe my b*****d father is trying to break free again. I must calm him before he entices the others to do the same. He walked to Persephone and kissed her gently, then began his trek to the other end of the underworld, his hound following close behind.

Artemis felt like the fact that her Huntresses had just been... Huntress-knapped was finally setting in, and as she turned to look at Athena, she bit her lip to hold back very un-Goddess-like tears. The last time she'd cried was when the cyclops she'd loved had died. Now the Huntresses she loved as allies and friends may be dead, too. She half coughed to clear her throat and let go of the little bit of emotion that was almost making her cry, quickly regaining her composed and nearly expressionless features. I have tried already, my sister, but it seems that whatever this is is somehow able to block them off from me completely. She sighed and brushed her hand through her bangs, looking at the barrier and back at Athena, I suppose I could try again but its almost like whoever is doing this knows what I can do to find them.

Persephone kissed him back gently and watched him leave with worried eyes. "Be safe dear..please.." She knew Kronos well, he would stop at nothing to try to harm someone for power. She looked at her garden as it started to wilt matching her sorrow and fear for her husband. She bows her head and then glances up following the path her husband took. She clenched her fists determined to guarantee his safety back. She runs after him in fear but her love for him pushing her onwards. Kronos was sure to have gotten free by now and she couldn't let anything befall Hades as much as she knew he was immortal and could contain his father once more. Without him, she had no one to turn to.
Hades was at the gate with Cerberus when he saw Persephone following him in the distance. He turns to the troop commander charged with guarding the gates. Make sure she doesn't get in. Strict orders. His eye shined with a blood lust and he smirked. If she tries to force you to open the gates, kill yourself. Hades turned from the commander and looked at his phalanx of ten soldiers. You all will accompany me into Tartarus. Kronos may have forgotten his end of this deal. The gates creaked open allowing Hades, Cerberus and the soldiers to enter, then closed just as Persephone reached the gates. This left Hades just enough time to smile and wave goodbye to her.
Persephone stopped at the gate, her face in despair seeing him go. She looked at the captain of the guard. "I wish to pass...please...I can't let him get hurt." She stared at him as tears filled her eyes and she fell onto her knees in sorrow. She hated watching him go and wanted him back as soon as possible. She stood again slowly and glared into his eyes. "Let me pass..." She approached the gate again prepared to fight him if she had to.

((bit of a writer's block x.x))
Captain of the Guard~

He looked at her, a feeling of fear passing over him.I am sorry miss, but I cannot allow you through. Lord Hades' orders. He stood rigid before her, trying not to show his fear of being confront by a goddess, or the fear that he may have to commit suicide.

Hades~

He turned and looked into the catacombs that made up the pit of Tartarus. The titans were easily noticed by the soldiers who flinched at the size of them. Stand firm you lot. Show no weakness to them. Hades commanded. The soldiers straightened up and followed behind Hades and Cerberus as they made their way along the narrow path to Kronos. They passed every other titan before reaching him, their eyes following their movements. The mountain that is Kronos came into sight and Hades began to approach him as he saw a gathering of huntresses. Most seemed fine while others were noticeably hurt. Help them. barked Hades as he throw his arm out the the gathering. Those are the hunters of Artemis. I'm positive she would want them returned. I will speak to him. Hades made his way to Kronos, who was still chained, and began to speak with him.
Persephone growled losing her temper. She had no time for her husband to keep her away from him and didn't care about her grandfather's temper. She grabbed the man by the throat with a powerful grip and pushed him against the gate. "Listen, I want in. I know what he is doing, he wants you to kill yourself if I succeed. If you do so though, I will shun him, and that will kill any mood your death places on him. So then, I want in, and I want you to be an escort and bodyguard. Do you comprehend? It is an order. Got that? I want in. I need help getting in and to the place he is being held. I do not want your death and if you did die I would bring you back anyways. Only difference would be my wrath at Hades for ordering such a thing, and your foolishness for following it. Believe me, it is not good either way." She stared at his eyes waiting for his quiet comprehension, not meaning harm, but losing patience.
