[[If you don't mind, I'm gonna make Persephone Zero's sister.]]
Persephone shuddered and lifted her head. Her peace was disturbed. "Master Gaius...I feel anger. Someone has lifted their voice. The trees are speaking to me." Ace raised an eyebrow, and looked up at her. "What's wrong, Seph?"
"My brother is calling, Master Gaius. I can hear him."
"Your brother?"
"My brother, Master. Zero, of the Great Blaze. He is angry."
"Oh Seph...I don't know what to do with you anymore. You sure you're well rested?"
"I'll be fine, Master. Let us go. I must meet my little brother again."
Ace mounted Persephone, and felt the huge exhilaration of takeoff again. It was always, always so exciting, even after having done it many times over the last ten years. Within moments, they were hundreds of feet in the air, and to his surprise, saw another dragon also flying, with another person on its back. So there were more. Persephone offered another massive roar back at her "brother" and blew a mote of green fire. Surprisingly, this fire was not at all hot, not too cold, either. It didn't even burn. It decayed from the inside, and only affected animals and other mobile living things. Ace sat back, a little confused, but held onto his dragon's frills for dear life as she sped toward the other.
