Greed smirked, as if promising it to get better. The swirling grey vortex reappeared below them, but instead of falling through, it was as if it were pushing them up. As Greed's head was about to hit the ceiling, a hole appeared above them and they were forced up. As soon as the magic dissipated, Greed laid back and looked at the sky. His voice was hushed. "Unless you are incredibly hungry, we had best remain here and quiet for a bit longer. They're bound to give up soon." They could hear the villagers still panicking about the body in front of the church.

Greed didn't give an answer until the villagers left. Once they were gone, he sat up and smirked. "Sounds like a fun idea."

Greed climbed to his feet, secured his bundle of stuff by tying it around his waist, then hefted their unconscious hostage over his shoulder. "If you know where to go to cause trouble, lead the way." He figured tying the girl up would really be pointless while carrying her. She wouldn't get far if she got away at all.
