Noticing that Gabriel wasn't really paying attention to Rose, Soren left the room and went outside. "Time for a hunt." He told himself aloud, then ran into the forest. Being extremely quiet, he found a herd of deer nearby. 1...2...3....He then ran at them with incredible speed, and using his nails, he brought down 3 does and a buck. After all the others got away, Soren bent down in the grass next to the buck. "Good-bye." He told it, as his fangs grew longer. He then pierced it's neck with a soft 'plick' of his fangs and began to drink its blood. Sooo....good. He told himself, savoring the taste. But not as good as human blood...
Rose sat back on the couch after Soren left and watched Gabriel with curiousity. "Ugh, Soren's such a pain in the a**. He's so annoying sometimes."
A very loud and very threatening roar signaled Talan's arrival into the main hall as he glided in and his wings folded neatly and tightly against his sides. He didn't know why he was here, but again that voice inside his head calling itself his survival instincts wouldn't shut up about safety in numbers. If that wasn't enough Talan was tired of having his den constantly attacked by those seeking to kill him and use his body for merchandise or some foolish pursuit for immortality. "A whole bunch of idiots if anyone asks me." He growled as he walked through the halls searching for any signs of the other members of this so called clan.
More than likely unlike the rest of the dragons already here he was probably the most cynical and dangerous considering how little he tolerated being around other people. Though if being around others of his own kind kept him alive, and he was able to find a female to mate with then all the more reason for him to stay. "Anyone alive in here or is this some sick joke to lure unsuspecting dragons to their doom?" He called irritatedly through out the halls hoping that his voice would carry far enough for anyone who wasn't deaf could hear him and at least have the common decency to greet him.
---~~~Eien~~~--- Eien looked to Nal for a moment before he made his way out of the dining hall and towards the main entrance. Hearing a loud roar coming from the main hall Eien altered his course and even made himself intangible so he could search quicker by moving threw the walls. It didn't take long before Eien found the black dragon roaming the halls and calling out to see if anyone was here. "you don't need to yell" he said walking out of a wall infront of the dragon "in the place of Nehaom and Nahalia I welcome you to Drakopolisa I am Eien" he said as he looked at the dragon his eyes showing wisdom and his body showing intense training
"Well young one if there was someone at the entrance waiting for the new arrivals then I would not have to yell. Now then would you like to be a good host and take me to the twins who came up with this place?" He asked in a bored tone as he examined one of his front claws trying to see if there was something stuck underneath though in truth he was just doing it to annoy the younger dragon.
From what he could surmise the younger dragon looked like a total brawler and seemed to take after Nehaom more than Nahalia. It wasn't that much of a complement if someone asked Talan, but then no one really wanted his opinion on anything. After all most of what he thought was to kill whatever it was that was annoying him. He doubted though the twins would like it very much if he got rid of this young dragon should he provide to be a nuisance the more time Talan was around him.
---~~~Eien~~~--- Eien examined the dragon for a moment and could tell that he was trying to annoy him but kept his cool considering he was ready to go after a lycan just a minute ago. "very well but make sure you show your respect Nahalia is slightly on edge at the moment" he said as he turned and started to lead the new dragon towards the dining hall. It was plain to see that Eien knew this place extremely well and could tell you every room that was in here. "what is your name by the way" he asked calmly as his talons tapped lightly on the floor as he rounded a corner and could tell that they were near the dining hall just by the smell of the cooking meat.
"Respect should not be freely given young one. It is earned, and besides both I and the twins know what would happen should a fight break out between us. As for my name it is Talan." He replied as he followed after the younger dragon. He was weary from his flight and the fact that he had not spied anything decent to eat while he flew served to further his fatigue. Having to move from where he was all the way to this place was almost nightmarish as he had to move at night or in human form to avoid being attacked by the other races. Luckily though he made it in one piece, but still very hungry.
---~~~Eien~~~--- Eien stopped in his tracks when Talan spoke of respect being earned and not given. "I can tell you are strong Talan but you must remember it was Nehaom and Nahalia who made it so we could have a sanctuary such as this so they have earned their respect from dragon kind" he said as he turned his head and looked at Talan his eyes very stern and held some anger before he moved an arm and opened the door to the dining hall "enjoy yourself Talan there are things I must see to" he said in a nearly venomous tone as he made himself intangible and then walked threw a wall making his way outside.
Once he was outside Eien took a breath before he spread his wings and took flight. Eien knew where the place was that was being attacked by the lycan and he decided he would make sure to get rid of his anger before he met his adoptive parents again.
Talan raised a scaly brow as he watched the young dragon disappear and leave. Turning his attention back to those inside the dining hall he walked farther inside spotting the twins almost instantly. "You couldn't be good hosts and greet me yourselves? You have your kid do it for you?" He asked with a chuckle before he spotted a cooked whole steer. The large cooked mammal made him salivate just from looking at it, but he would not be a rude guest and just start eating without permission. His mother would slap the back of his head for even thinking about it if she was here.
Nahalia watched as Anla fly away, and she herself was about to leave when Eien, along with another dragon she knew too well, walked into the dining hall. Calming herself, she sat down on her haunches and looked at Talan. "Welcome Talan. It's nice of you to join us. Sorry we couldn't greet you properly. Besides, Eien needs the practice." She said, with a smile to Eien and then trying to be sincere to Talan. She knew he didn't like her much to begin with. "You can eat if you'd like."
Nehaom turned, watching his sister carefully, in case she went over the edge. "I welcome you as well Talan." He on the other hand liked the dark dragon alot more than his sister.
While all the dragons were conversing, Chela continued her gleeful rage. She slaughter many now, and was also eating a few. "Wow, these are so good." Chela said aloud as she chewed on a horse bone. "I didn't think I'd get the chance to do this to the dragons. I'd expected a wildfire by now."
Lena looked out her window and watched a she saw a large dark dragon fly to their haven of Drakopolisa. "I wish I could be like them sometimes. Then I wouldn't have to worry about being burned to a crisp or not. Plus I could eat whatever I wanted."
Talan nodded his head in recognition of their welcome, but stopped once he saw the look in Nahalia's eyes. Walking over calmly he sat back on his haunches and looked at her with his head cocked to the side. "Something bothering you? You look like you're about ready to burn something, or someone." He asked as his tail swayed back and forth in curiosity. It was rare that he saw her anything more than annoyed, and to the extent she was trying to hide it was all too obvious. "Those mutts in your hunting territory again?"
