Kristi looked around the house. Empty as always. It was such a simple house that she was surprised she hadn't moved out. She had thought about it often though. But, she always decided against it because she had grown up in this house and was attached to her in some odd way. She looked over at her sword which was leaning against the wall in it's sheath. A golden dragon was outlined on the side and shimmered when light was shone onto it. It was her brother's and she had always used it when practicing. She wanted to follow in his footsteps, so the best way was to use his sword. She walked over to the blade and picked it up, swinging it over her head. She pulled her hair out from under the strap and looked around. "Well, guess I have nothing better to do." she said and walked out through the back door. She looked around the market place and walked down the street. She paid no attention to the people she passed. Her only goal was getting to the hill where her brother had taught her. Just for a little practice.

Chula turned to look at Fenrir, "Oh thanks, but I couldn't ask this from you." She didn't want to trouble the guy any further, and she didn't need help finding a 'thing'. A little boy was missing and he needed to be found. "Chula," said a girl pulling on her pant, "this guy is weird."

((ok ^^))

Fenrir was about to reply that he didn't mind when the litte girl said he was weird. Smiling he said "Alright then, well I'm going to head out then." Fenrir made his way slowly through the inn. Pushing back old memories.

Chula gently tugged on the little girl's arm when Fenrir left. "That wasn't very nice thing to say," she said, "You should apologize." The little girl shook her head 'no' and threw herself on the floor. Chula let out a sigh; she still had to find the other child. She looked around and spotted him going on the stage. She whistle for the gang to follow her, and then ran up to the little boy. "Hey you, " she shouted, "Come down from there. You're mom is going to kill me if she sees you!" Chula head out her arms and the boy ran and jumped into them. She hugged him and then placed him down. She counted and everyone was there. "Yes. I think it's about time I give you back to your parents," Chula said.
Fenrir quickly made his way out of town. Deftly picking his way through the crowds. Not far away he spotted a hill. Using his demonic speed he rushed to it. He took his shirt off and bundled his scarf in it making him a temporary pillow. Laying his sword down next to him and his dagger across his chest he slowly fell into a silent slumber.
The festival was was commencing, as soon as the major got up on the stage. The stage stood tall right in the center of the village. With a loud voice, the major shouted, "Ladies and gentleman! Soon the Scouter will arrive and the celebration will begin!" Those who heard the announcement became excited and energized. They started cheering and clapping their hands. It wouldn't belong until people's dreams finally became reality.
Fenrir's keen hearing forced him to wake up from load roars and cheers.Shifting his dagger he stood up and stared at the town. Sliding his shirt back on, he dusted himself off and walked back into town slipping silently into the crowd.

Kristi stopped when she saw the commotion. She heard the announcement and shook her head. 'Sounds like fun...maybe...' she thought and continued to watch the stage. She leaned against a wooden post and thought about this mysterious Scouter. She had heard rumors, but had never really believed them. She was talented and a wonderful fighter, and that wasn't her own opinion. So many people who had seen her warm-ups and had complimented her many times. She looked down at her sword then back up at the stage.

After the announcement, the parents of the children came for them. "Thanks for babysitting for us. We'll take it from here," they said. Chula shook her head and went to the center of the town, where she expected to see the Scouter. She was excited and ready for this new adventure. "No more babysitting for me," she whispered to herself. A smile came to her face and her eyes lit up from joy that she had.
Fenrir made his way to the side of crowd, trying to keep his sword from being knocked about. He closed his eyes and waited. He had sensed many with stength and suprising to say most of them were women. This scouter might be his ticket to living a life of acceptance.

Kristi looked at the people who were joining the crowd and was surprised. 'Thought there would be more men then this...' she thought. Whenever she thought of a warrior, she thought of a man, or even her brother. She shook her head and watched the crowd continue to grow. She looked at where she was standing and shrugged. 'Well, if the crowd gets back this far, I think I'll be fine...' she thought.
Fenrir found himself growing impatient, witht he waiting. Not caring if he was seen he left the crowd headed towards the hill he had slept on. He would here when the scouter arrive. Throwing his scarf and shirt off, Fenrir unsheathed his sword and went through some basic movements that any child could do. In a matter of minutes he had gone from low level to high leveled movements that were difficult to master.

Kristi watched a man leave and her eyes followed him until he was out of sight. She looked at the crowd then at the direction he had gone and began follow him. She stayed in the shadows, being careful to hold her sword so it wouldn't make any noise. She saw him go onto a hill and stopped. She studied his movements and watched how fast he changed levels of fighting. 'Interesting...' she thought.
Fenrir felt eyes upon him. Normally he would hide the scars of the whip and his demon ears as past times had always caused him to be an outcast. Only this time he was working out, lost in the nothingness that was his zone. Deciding to get flashy he kicked a near-by logg into the sky and sliced it into several pieces. Feeling he had worked out enough, he fished his oil and sharp stone from his small bag of items. Sitting down he set to work on his already honed blade.
