LoLoki echoed his sigh, disappointment rising. She'd have to find the girl later. "That's quite unfair of you. Was I just supposed to sit here and talk to her while you listened? You could have been someone who really did want to hurt her." Really, she had been making his job much easier in the time she'd been there. The last thing he should be doing was accusing her. "And anyway, why would the Guard Captain want to hurt an angel? We're not exactly the most threatening race."

Jacob blinked, "I didn't want to hurt her. I was curious of what she was hiding under her cloak, she kept pulling it around her and the previous time, I noticed something was beneath it." He crossed his arms. "Rest assured, her secret shall be kept. I doubt she wants everyone to know she's an angel. But she seems more, don't you think?"

Celeste say a young man lying in the street and it looked like he was hurt badly. No one was around and it looked like he had been forgotten. Mia took her over to the man and she sat next to him, holding her hands over him. She closed her eyes and her hands glowed for a few minutes before the light left. Celeste stood up and walked into the alley, watching the man get up and walk off as if he hadn't been hurt. "Good, he'll be fine." Mia slipped under her and picked the girl up before going off again down the street.

It took a lot of self control for her not to roll her eyes. "I know you won't hurt her. I was wondering why she would think you would want to hurt her." She thought back to the emotions that had been running through the other angel as she fled. "She was terrified when she saw you, and her seriously protective wolf ran off with her immediately." LoLoki then turned to his question. "It does kind of seem so. She seemed so... different from me. Different from the angels I've encountered in Heaven. Even there we're rare, but here... I think we should find her. Let her see me first, though. I'm not exactly likely to tote around an angel persecutor, so maybe she'll stay put for a moment while you explain you mean no harm." She turned towards where the angel had run, her mind sifting through every location any light touched until she found her again. "And by the way, don't think I've forgotten your accusations. One the list of things I can't stand, people who put the blame on those who don't deserve it is dangerously close to the top." She tucked in her wings and put the Light coming from her hands out completely.

Jacob blinked, "My accusations? I have made none and I don't recall blaming her for anything. So if it pleases Your Holiness, I think I have just about put your concerns to rest." Despite the fact that he knew she wouldn't like his choice of words, he spoke them with a calm tone. After this, he walked past her, just out of the alley and crossed his arms. "And I'm quite sure that she knows I mean no harm, as I haven't harmed her yet..."

Alexander had become very energized from the sun soaking into his scales. I wonder where Celeste went. I hope she is ok. He went from fence lizard to a common brown squirrel, and he scurried his way from roof to roof in search of someone he knew. Suddenly, he saw the tips of white wings move between two buildings. An angel! What an honor! He walked more quietly than before, and he crept up to the edge of a roof and gave a small squirrel gasp. So thats what she was hiding! She is an angel... how fitting. Her wings are quite extravagant. He whisked his tail this way and that deciding whether to go into the forest. He looked up at the sky to check the weather, and noticed some sinister-looking clouds coming in from the West. A cold gust of wind gave him a small shiver down his spine then up his bushy tail. Ah, I ought to shelter soon.

Mia stopped and looked up. "What is it?" Celeste asked her and petted Mia, wondering what was wrong with the wolf now. The wolf was looking to a roof and growled quietly. Why don't you come down now before I come up there and get you. Mia whispered across Alexander's mind and then looked away and up at Celeste.

<I am smart enough to know that you are completely capable of nabbing me as a squirrel. And what do you have against me? I have done nothing to purposefully anger you. If it is simply that I, a morpher, exists, what do you have against morphers? > Alexander knew that if it was his presence, that Mia's reason would be the same as all the others. No one else quite knew the hard lives morphers led, but they usually wanted to end it. He sat on the top of the sloped roof, still watching the West out of the corner of his eye.

I am just watching out for my maste, I am not mad at you. Mia stopped growling and her voice in his mind was actually softer than it was before. I do not know you and it is my job to protect her. I am only worried you might hurt her, that's all. The wolf then started to walk away slowly and Celeste looked around. "What's going on Mia? Is someone around?"

<That is a noble occupation. I have no intention of hurting your master, but others may, I do not know. It is good to be wary.> Alexander turned into a small finch and climbed under the rim of a chimney for a shelter. <There is no need to alert Celeste of my presence, and I will let you go about your duties. Watch for storms.> He started to nestle himself into the dark crevice made of brick and concrete. This may be a tad uncomfortable, but it is warm and keeps the wind out.

Thank you for the warning. Mia told him and then stopped, looking at Celeste. She rubbed her head against the girls hand and she smiled at her. "I see, you're just worried about me, aren't you?" Mia nodded her head and Celeste kissed her forehead. "Thank you. Shall we continue on?" Mia started walking again and kept her eyes on everything she saw.

Hazuki finally got to Torgo and sighed "Finally I'm here." she said entering the town with a nervous look on her face, people staring at her.

After a sufficient rest in the side of the chimney, Alexander flew out and perched on top of said chimney to view the rest of the town. He noticed a girl with exceptionally large pigtails walk in with a small bit of blush complementing her cheeks. I wonder where she has come from... He turned his head to the side to get a better view of her. Hmm, she seems local. He changed his form into a tortishell cat and leapt off the roof, walking closer to where a few people were gathering around her.
