"I wonder..." his voice trailed off into silence. Whatever it is, it cannot be that bad. Maybe she is afraid of being exiled. His mood darkened as nightmarish memories of his were brought back to mind. I hope that never happens to anyone else. No one deserves that.

Celeste tossed her cloak over Mia as she stood up, her wings stretching with her. "Man, it feels so good to get the out." She looked at Mia and smiled. "They would have been out more if Jacob hadn't of come but it can't be helped. They're out now and I guess it's time to hide them again." She didn't reach fro the cloak as her wings flapped quietly, enjoying the air, and the girl sighed, feeling relaxed.

LoLoki had just finished a delicious nap and stretched luxuriously. The one spectacular thing found on earth and not on Heaven was sleep. As her senses slowly revived themselves, her feel for the area around her spread wider and wider until she froze. Was that... an angel? She pulled her wings into her back, uncomfortable as it was, and set off as quickly as she could among humans.

Quite soon, she had found the object of her search and hid behind the edge of a less-than-lively looking building. The girl had her wings fanned out, catching the rays of the moon and was accompanied by a wolf, a strange sight indeed. She wasn't sure how to approach her, and decided it would be best be straightforward about it- before the wolf sniffed her out. "Excuse me." she said just loudly enough for the girl to hear.

Celeste yelped and grabbed the cloak quickly. Her wings came down hard against her back and she grimaced before slipping the cloak on, hiding them. Mia jumped in front of her and growled at the newcomer. "Who are you?" Celeste asked and was now feeling a little pain for bringing her wings in quickly.

Jacob blinked and lowered himself onto the rooftop gently. He had caught a glimpse of her wings and he was assured that she was what he thought. Does she fear that she will be harmed? he thought, straining his ears to hear more.

Oops, must've startled the poor girl half to death. LoLoki smiled softly at the girl and let her own wings spread out from her back, bringing a sense of relief. "Surely you didn't think you were the only angel around here," she said with a cheery wink. "Actually, I haven't seen any others. That's why I came running when I sensed you." LoLoki was both curious and excited to meet someone like her. She wondered why the girl was even here in the first place.

Alexander leaned against the wall of a building. I might as well just head on out... but the others have since diverted their attention. He shrank in side to become a small fence lizard, and easily climbed to the roof, where he began to sunbathe in the peaceful solitude.

Celeste sighed and let her cloak drop to the ground. Her wings came out again and she fell to her knees. "Oww, make sure you don't do what I just did." She laughed and Mia licked her face. "I'm fine Mia." She hugged the wolf and looked at the other woman. Her wings were a lot smaller than hers and she wondered why that was but she wouldn't ask. "So, what's you're name? I haven't seen you around before."

LoLoki laughed as well and any nervousness she had had fell away. "I'm LoLoki. You probably haven't seen me around because I haven't really been around much. I've only been on earth for a little over four months. How long have you-," she broke off suddenly, realizing that they weren't alone. So stupid! she berated herself. How could I not have noticed until now?

Fast as lightning, she pounced onto the rooftop, hands glowing with Light power. "You know, it's quite rude to eavesdrop," she said in a falsely sweet voice.

Jacob blinked, "Ah.." he chuckled and held up his hands. "Alright I lose, you caught me."

[Enalla]

Celeste watched her jump and she was in front of Jacob, who was watching and listening to them. Oh no! He found out! She was now scared and she started shaking. Mia looked at her and then picked the cloak up, tossing it over Celeste's wings before she got the girl onto her back and started to run. Celeste hung on tightly as Mia ran and the wolf moved quickly, staying close to the shadows and hiding them as she ran.

Surprised by the stranger's cordiality, LoLoki dimmed her Light to a dull shimmer. Her voice was now even and a little bemused. "Let's take this back down where people can't see, shall we? And you'd better explain yourself well. I was in quite a good mood." Some memory nudged her mind and she realized who it was. "Ah, you're captain of the guard, aren't you?" She turned around to jump down and saw the angel was missing. "Fantastic, you've scared her away."

Jacob watched as Celeste disappeared and he let out a sigh. He had really wanted to know more about her, but because he was foolish enough to be caught, she probably would never reveal herself in his presence ever again. He put his hands down and leaned against the rooftop, looking up at the other angel. He jumped down next to her. "No, you did that yourself, by exposing me, you've frightened her. She probably thinks I'll send half of the town after her because she is an angel..."

Mia stopped in another part of the town and Celeste fell to the ground, taking the cloak off. Her wings came out again and she sighed. "I can't believe I ran away like that." She muttered and the wolf nuzzled her cheek with her nose. Celeste looked at her and smiled. "Yeah, I know. I really feel like I'm different than others, even though there are other angels. I feel different from them, like I'm someone else." She sighed again and stood up, bringing her wings down to a position against her back to where they wouldn't hurt. Celeste put the cloak on again and nodded to Mia, getting back on the wolf's back. "Let's go help people and try to relax." Mia nodded and walked off and down the street.

Meku had finished picking the berried as she got bck onto her feet shadow and light were playing as Meku smiles "Shadow light time to head back." The cat sit up striaght as Meku giggles gently as the three return to Vervain. Meku was enjoying taking her time to get back there since not many people leave the village. Meku looked down knowing she was the only Angel in that town and she had to hide her wings to not scared the villagers yet cold eyes were still on her.
