silvermoon sat in the corner of the den camp, her head bowed. She didnt know what to say anymore she had failed the pack by letting the cub die of fever. It had been something never seen before in the lands they lived and she prayed no one else caught it. she looked up seeing the alpha male come into camp, but she didnt move.

"Last I saw her she seemed pretty sad." Vera sat down. "Then again, this hasn't been the first time Silver has seen someone...or a pup...die. It has happened a few times before. I'm sure she'll be fine soon."

"Yes but she still seems to be taking the loss heavily"He said,as his eyes closed once again but this time longer"...I hate going out like that,it always makes me so tired,I miss things too...,but then again I'd rather be doing my task's"(these "tasks" were only known to Vera and even she didn't know what he was doing during them)

Tanis nodded to herself, yes the pack would be able to move on, but the emotional trauma to Silver might be harmful. Tanis was also feeling the loss but she had to be strong for everyone and tried not to show it, the only sign was that her body was tensed and her eyes a little to dry.

Sable eyed Silvermoon solemnly. She could see that the shaman was ashamed of the fact that the cub had died in her care, and that it affected her greatly. The soot-colored wolf shifted on her four paws, leaving patches of darkened ground where her over-warm paws had scorched marks into the dirt and grass.
She let out a swift bark in Seigfred's direction before bowing her head slightly, hoping that the alpha male had seen her acknowledgment, then began her slow trek toward Silvermoon.
"Silvermoon, I am sorry for your pain,"she began tenderly, "but surely it is not entirely your fault. It takes more time than we sometimes have in order to find new cures for new forms of illness. I am sure no one blames you."

Vera nodded as she looked thoughtful for a moment. "True..."

She looked over at Silvermoon and Sable who had just started to talk to her.

Vera hated for everyone to be so sad like this. It was just so...depressing! Not to mention it was rather annoying in a way. Still, a pup had just died. So of course Vera was able to feel sad because of that. She just hoped it would end soon.

Seigfred nodded in Sables direction as he bound over to Silver and sat down"You alright?,it's natural for someone to die,especially fevered pups,you know how fragile they are,so stop putting your self down,there was nothing more you could have done about it,so cheer up,ok?"The muscular wolf stretched his legs before rocketing to his den and almost imediately fell asleep

Vera blinked as she watched the alpha leave then shook her head slightly and turned her head to look away. All I need is to find something to occupy myself with. That was easier to think then do...

Emerald orbs scanned over the dens as Vera lowered her head and looked over them, possibly trying to find something of interest. Finally, when nothing appeared, she straightened up and trotted forward, each of her three white paws padding softly over the dirt ground...and then the one scarred one.

Dakoda sat on a rock scouting for anything, signs of danger , the weather, anything to do at the moment but saw nothing so she walked around aimlessly but then decided to relax.
Go do some fun stuff like roll in the grass and go of sprinting and acting how a she should be when she was a pup.
As Dakoda ran around her tongue was hanging out the side of her mouth and having a good time. She was smiling and her eyes where wide with joy. Once she stopped she was huffing and puffing taking deep breaths and was feeling good.

Vera spotted Dakoda, the Fang's captain, several yards away from her. She seemed slightly out of breath for some reason.

Vera took a deep breath then called over to her, her scarlet-colored tail swishing back and forth. "Dakoda!" Kind of an odd way to act considering Vera was a beta female but whatever... Just because she might have had a high rank in the pack didn't necessarily mean she was completely normal.

Finally, she could talk to someone! She was beginning to get bored just walking around aimlessly.

Dakoda's eras then perked up as she heard her name be called, her head looked around and her eyes spotted the alpha female.
She straightened up her posture and trotted over "Yes Ma'am?" She said in a stern but yet soft voice thought her voice was a little deeper.
She tilted her head to the side and sat down wondering what is what she called her for.

Vera blinked in surprise at her response. "Er..." She turned her head to the side slightly and grinned almost sheepishly. "I was actually just looking for someone to talk to. Kinda boring just walking around by myself."
