In the middle of a forest, somewhere in a faraway place, is one wolf pack. They are called the Fangs. They live a fairly peaceful life... Well...of course there are some dangers to their safety. These include hunters, other wild animals, and even other members of the pack itself possibly. Just things normal wolves have to deal with and, overall, they lead an completely almost normal life.

Almost....

See...the wolves of the Fangs pack are slightly different from other wolves... A few of them have been gifted with strange special powers. Some of these powers are nothing too important, like the power to simply run just a little faster then most average wolves. Some of them are just a little more noticable though, such as the power to control fire...even fly.

No matter what their characteristics are though, the Fangs pack manages to stay fairly well secluded from others and keep to themselves.

Now there is only one question that is quite common in nature: Will they have what it takes to survive...? Or will they end up weakening, dying out, and eventually completely disapearing all together?

Alpha Male/Female - Obviously the leader of the pack. They make all the important decisions.

Elders - The older and more experienced members of the pack. They act a little like advisors and often give the alphas advice.

Beta Male/Female - Like second-in-commands. They make any every day decisions. They are allowed to briefly take control if none of the alphas are around.

Healers - They heal any injuries wolves in the pack might get. The best healer is the Shamman.

Warriors - They protect the pack from any dangers. The best warrior is the Captain.

Hunters - They get food for the pack. The best hunter is the Scout.

Pup-Sitters - They look after and protect the pups in the pack. Whenever there is danger around, a pup-sitter's first goal is to protect all the puppies.

Puppies - Due to them being so young, they have no real rank nor role in the pack yet.

Omegas - The lowest rank in the pack. These are usually alphas who were defeated by another wolf, wolves who disrespected their leaders too much, or wolves who were simply too lazy and didn't feel like doing anything. Omegas are usually disrespected and looked down upon by the other pack members. They eat and sleep separately from the rest of the pack.

Loners - These are wolves that belong to no pack. They simply wander around by themselves. (You cannot make your own pack!! There is only one pack, the Fangs, and I'm sticking with that!!)

note: These are placed by rank. Meaning the alphas would be the highest rank and the omegas would be the lowest. Also, though the puppies and the pup-sitters are near the bottom of the list, they are looked after carefully by other members of the pack and are respected. Also, due to the elders being the wisest, even the alphas will come to them for advice at times.

The Laws of the Pack ~

1. Follow Gaia TOS!! (such as no cybering, keep everything pg-13, no racist or sexist comments, (etc.)) For posting, just post as frequently as you can (i'd say at least once a week). Also, please try not to keep anyone waiting! gonk It's so annoying! If you can't go online for a while try not to leave in the middle of an important scene that involves your character.

2. No perfect, god-like characters with absolutely no weaknesses whatsoever and no limits to their powers. stare They're extremely annoying and they ruin it for everyone else.

3. You can only have up to three characters and only one can be an alpha or beta. Also, make sure you use different posting colors for each character so we can tell them apart.

4. For literacy, post at least three sentences (due to this being a semi-literate rp). Also, use "" for speech, italics for thoughts, and normal sentences for actions (no ** or anything else like that). And use [] or {} or () or something like that for OOC.

5. Do not post your profiles in the rp! Send them to me in a pm. Title your pm 'howl at the moon' to show you read the rules and so I know what the pm is for. Also...don't post until I accept you (this is for everyone; no matter if you just joined or you're already a member of the rp).

6. Don't ignore anyone!! Honestly...people don't join rps to be ignored. rolleyes If it's not too much to ask, try to read over everything. That way you won't ignore someone or miss something important. If someone in an earlier post says the forest is on fire don't make your character just walk right in as if nothing's happening. eek Unless they just have a death wish or something....

7. If you are an alpha, you have the power to kick anyone you want out of the pack. BUT JUST OUT OF THE PACK!! DO NOT KICK THEM OUT OF THE RP!! The only one who can kick them out of the rp is me. Period.

8. Make sure you pm me if: your role changes for one of your characters, your character(s) dies, you won't be able to post for a while, or you want to quit the rp. Failure to do so will get you banned.

Name: Vera
Role: Beta Female
Special Powers: The power to manipulate any kind of fine sediment and the wind. Is slightly stronger and faster then average wolves.
Personality: She's usually very friendly and easy to get along with. However, she is harsh towards her enemies and doesn't have much tolerance for wolves who refuse to obey their leaders. She can also be just a little stubborn at times.
Bio: Vera was born and raised in the Fang's pack. Even at a young age she showed some signs of dominence and strength among her brothers, sisters, and friends. When she became older, this only improved.
Her front left leg was scarred when a bad fire broke out in a section of the forest. She ran in to go save two pups that had been playing there.
Because of that, and many other things she had done before, the alphas decided to make her a beta female.

Other: Her left, front leg and shoulder and a small part of her left side is badly scarred and the fur is singed right off them.

Role: Alpha Female
Special Powers: Mist and Ice
Personality:Aloof and sarcastic she has a quick temper. But get her near the pup and she is puddy in their paws.
Bio: Tanis was actually the pup of one of the lowest ranking wolves in the pack, but through brute strength and cunning she fought her way to the top, and she intends to stay there. She guards her pack with ice and mist at her beck and call
Appearance: White Fog
Other: Her fur tends to have ice crystals hanging in her fur and mist swirling at her paws.

Role: Second Alpha Female :3?
Special Powers: Ability to create and control fire. Smaller but faster than average wolves, better endurance.
Personality: She's constantly calm and soft-hearted. She sees no harm in play, even for grown wolves. She only shows a stricter side when a lower wolf shows disrespect, or simply when the situation calls for it. She puts the pack before herself.
Bio: She was born and raised as a normal cub up until the point when her power came to her. She has somehow managed to avoid starting any fires with her powers while growing up. Sable has only been one of the alphas for a short time. In fact, she really hadn't intended to be an alpha, but when an upsetting came between her and the alpha before her, Sable defeated her squarely and was made alpha in the other's place.

Other:Her paws and muzzle are actually darker than the rest of her, probably because of the ash that embeds itself into her fur when she ignites fires around her paws and mouth.

Special Powers: able to control lightning,can run at super speeds
Personality: Kind of a loner but loyal to his pack mates when he's needed,angered easily
Bio: When he was born he was scoped out for him combat skills and what role he would play in his pack(his first one),he was classified as a weakling,the lowest of the lowest so he just ran away and found this pack.

Special Powers: Manipulation of shadows and snow, the snow will often be black though on occasions when she is completely calmed, the snow will turn pure white.
Personality: Mayhem's name, status, and abilities do not quite follow along with her personality. She is a calm, loyal, and courageous wolf. Though, at beginnings she doesn't trust others due to past events. She tends to shun them away and doesn't immediately accept anyone. It takes time to show one can be a friend to her, and when she accepts them. She tends to show full loyalty. Until then, she is much like the Cheshire Cat. She enjoys toying with others, and even sometimes manipulating. Though, she will come to the aid of a stranger if she sees fit to do so.
Bio: Mayhem was once apart of a pack. The alphas of this pack were extremely loving and cared much for their pack, but one of the larger and more rash wolves within the pack grew impatient with the alphas, who were getting older and weaker as time went on. So, one day the wolf slaughtered the alphas, with it's own few followers who also killed whoever may oppose this sudden over throwing. Mayhem herself did not enjoy this, and in the dead of night she crept from the pack's domain, but not without being discovered. The new alpha did not like the idea of her trying to escape, though he took a liking to Mayhem's rebellious attitude and tried to sway her and make her his alpha female. She was crafty in this, and accepted. Days went on, and as Mayhem gained the alpha males trust, she began to help the young pups and elders, who enjoyed the previous alphas, out from the dens of this new alpha and into other nearby packs. On one of her relocation's, the alpha discovered her in the act. She attacked him, but was overpowered. Deciding she would escape for her life, she ran away and in anger the alpha of course, chased after her. This abled the pups and elders she had been escorting to escape. Months later, Mayhem snuck back into the pack to see how everything was doing, she found that in her absence the new alpha had slaughtered the entire formers of the pack, and had merely started up his new pack, only those who followed under his rule were kept. Once this was found out by Mayhem, with her head sunk for her inability to help the rest of her pack escape, she left from the old dens and now travels about as a loner.

Bio: Dakoda grew up with males wolves she was basically the only female pup at when she was small out of her litter. She also is tough after being raised around guys and would often roughhouse with them which is the way she became the way she is now.
Appearance: Dont touch my food
Other: skilled and loves the thrill

Name:Kavkah Le Vain
Role: A hunter.
Special Powers: Kav can seduce soft-headed beings into doing his will by his voice. Those with strong wills are not easily overcome. He basically gets into your mind.
Personality: Kavkah is closed and to himself for the most part. He hunts for and protects his pack, but nothing more. If you can get close to him, he is very sweet and kind. He simply has trust issues and does not care for most people.
Bio: Kav was born in this pack, though his mother passed on during the birth of her pups. He was conceived from a male from another pack, since only the alphas were allowed to breed. Wanting her own pups, she snuck off and mated with another male. Never knowing her, He does not miss her. The rest is just a normal life, none of that sad crap.

Role: Loner
Special Powers: She can have out of body experiences, where she can travel anywhere, but then her body is unusable until she returns, and her spirit is still visable its just the outline though, barely noticable (no scent or noise is made), there is a time limiit of three hours.
Personality: Childish, Sweet, Careing, Immature, Curious, Dareing.
Bio: She was born into the pack, and raised to love it, she doesnt know who her parents are but she tries to find them in the pack. She realized she had powers when she was younger than she is now.
Appearance:White Wolf, smaller though.
Other:She has a golden cross on her left ear.

Role: Omega
Special Powers: She can sense vibrations in the ground from things around her. This ability is so accurate she can even feel a heartbeat that's simply just a little too fast from fear or nervousness.
She is slightly stronger then a normal wolf.
Personality: She often acts like a complete loner and rarely talks to anyone. She tends to be rather rude. Despite her never doing anything and appearing to be lazy, she can get surprisingly vicious when she's angry.
Believe it or not, it actually is possible to become friends with her...though no one in the pack has succeeded in doing so yet....
Bio: Huyana was born to the pack. She never seemed to want to get involved with anything and never bothered to help out at all...even disrespected her leaders. This is why Huyana is an Omega.
There was one thing she did that gave her some respect though.
A few years ago, a small group of hunters attacked the pack while the alphas were away and the pack members were having trouble getting rid of them. Huyana of course wasn't doing anything and was simply trying to rest, expecting that the warriors for the pack would be able to take care of them. Apparently they weren't working fast enough for her though. Finally, Huyana became angry since she couldn't sleep over the noise the guns were making. She ended up lunging out and attacking the hunters herself, killing all the poor guys.
The alphas noticed this and, even though she probably wasn't thinking about the pack when she did that, she had at least gotten rid of them and saved many lives. She briefly became a warrior...though she managed to keep that role for only a few days before becoming an Omega again.
Today Huyana is still an Omega.

Role: pup
Special Powers: Due to her black fur she is able to hide in the shadows when she wants to, as well as control water but it hasn't been fully developed yet.
Personality: Miki is a curious pup who loves to go out and explore. At times she can be shy, but this is usually when she mets a wolf that she is not familiar with. Like any other pup she loves to play with others. Though at times she can be stubborn.
Bio: When Miki was young she lived with her parents in a different pack. One day her curiousty got the best of her and she started to wander off. Her powers kicked in and she had dissapered into the shadows of the trees. Eventually she found the Fang Pack and they took her in. She doesn't remember much of her old pack so she hardly ever thinks about them.

Number the stars...

The scarlet-colored wolf leapt gracefully out of the forest and hopped into the clearing where all of the pack's dens were. Vera's tail swished back and forth once as her emerald-green eyes scanned over everything, the beta female breathing in deeply through her nose.

It sure is a nice day today... The thought came randomly to her. Then again, most of her thoughts tended to do that...

After a few more seconds, Vera trotted into the clearing.

...and make a wish.

Silvermoon was in her den. the violet and white shaman hadnt left her den in three days. a young cub was sick with fever and a cough, it hadnt woken from its coma. silver was tired and her stomache growled with hunger butshe still didnt leave her den. at the far side of her den was a small pond a mountain stream flowed into it so it was always cold. silver moon sighed she didnt know what else to do nothing was working it was in the hands of the gods now as she sat there looking at the young cub.

Tanis was sprawled atop a large flat rock that lay near her den. Her grey eyes were heavy lidded as she sighed, fog billowing from between her fangs. She had spotted Vera and though she didnt see Silver she knew exactly where she was, her heart going out to the poor pup in her care.

Sable raced into the clearing, a black-furred blur that stopped almost suddenly near the center of it. Trailing behind her were two or three pups, barking and yipping as they chased after the smaller-than-average sized wolf. The alpha female crouched low the ground, rear posed high in the air with her tail wagging playfully.

The oncoming pups didn't slow at all, jumping at her excitedly.

Sable rolled over as they got to her, spotting Vera and barking at her in acknowledgment, before going back to playing with the young ones.
