Lucis slowly moved into the abandoned building, staring up as he descended the stairs, remembering all the grief Aki had given him here. He was thankful that he was finally leaving. "High time too." He said simply.

Grey would be the color, if I had a heart.

Faragos laid Aki's corpse on the nearby couch. He nodded and moved to leave, but stopped. He spun on his heal and spoke for what seemed like the first time since his hospitalization nearly a year ago.

"I'll help you find who did this." He said simply

((Edit: Haha... "He said simply" is popular tonight, eh?))

The sky rumbled, thundering louder then any lightning, or any earthquake. The clouds, as well as the sky above would have ripped apart, showing a whole different realm. The sky of this other realm had large strands of red and purple floating through it, but other then that, there were no stars, no moons, just floating debris, it looking like a large star had exploded, taking everything within that realm with it. Multiple black strands descended from that sky around the mansion, Darius slowly walking out from the mansion as it did so. Tears lay fresh on his face, the odd realm engulfing him, then dissapearing. "Goodbye..."

The window to the other realm would have closed with such force that the trees underneath it would have bent and collapsed. Darius would have appeared within a large room, an arena of sorts. Within it which sat many beings, some glowing with such light that they could be seen as god, others with such darkness that they could be called 'Devils.' One final being would have entered the room, radiating such a power that it engulfed all else, all the gods; as well as all the devils cowering before it. It opened it's mouth, such a voice echoing from it that any normal being would have lost their hearing, yet still heard, the voice echoing in the minds of all present.

"You, former head of the Pantheon of Realms. You, the one being under the Creator of All. You... god of the Void, the endless abyss, that which engulfs and cradles us all. You have been found guilty of slaying hundreds of us, Holy and Evil, you are guilty of causing all the realms to fall out of balance. You who were more powerful then all created beings, you who could have ran from us for all eternity, yet instead of doing so, you gave your life to save one soul. We ask you before your sentence is carried out. Why did you do these things...?"

Darius smiled a defiant smile, "The many races of the many realms, they no longer require your worthless powers. They can live for themselves, breath for themselves, and walk for themselves. I have seen that and more over my countless millenias of wondering about. You who think your all powerful are weak before them, you lack the power to move them, you lack the power to even turn their heads... As for why I saved that soul, it's the thing I gained, and the thing all of you lack. Love..."

Four giant spears descended from the ceiling, one running through the middle of his chest, one through his waist, one through his heart, and one through the side opposite his heart. "Enough of your useless words..."

Darius smiled again, looking up straight at the figure. "You will rule no more." With those words, Darius collapsed, breathing his final breath. As that last breath left his lungs, an unescapable pressure surrounded the structure in which they all sat, screams echoing as some tried to escape, others instantly resigning themselves to their fate. Soon enough there was nothing left, one could have looked under a microscope, and not seen a thing.

One man looked up to the sky, staring at it hard and long. In his hand he held a book, in which a pen scribbled down the last few words of an epic journey. When he closed the book it dissapeared, appearing in a special slot in what looked to be an endless library. "So concludes the longest tale I shall ever write..." With a smile Drake looked up walking towards the mansion where that person had lived.

((*evil, manaical giggling* Lucis, you just gave me the absolutely perfect oppurtunity to show off my character. You wouldn't mind if I sent my vindictive Homunculus after your vampire, would you? twisted wink ))

((There's a pageful.))

Hitomi stared at Faragos as he spoke and she shook her head slowly. "I have a pretty good idea who did it." She said softly and looked over at Aki. She had noticed that the wound was a blade wound, which was unusual for the person she was thinking of.

"I need to go and speak to someone." She said softly and gave and apologetic smile to Faragos. it was very obvious how forced that one motion was. It was good to see someone she knew was alright but all she could think of right now was going and talking to Lucis.

~{Alas, I had hoped to do battle with you at least once Will, but I had planned to kill Darius tonight...er...this morning anyways, and with Aki's death it just seemed the perfect time. >.<}~

((Back))

"Sorry, Hitomi. You arn't going alone." He said simply.

((Daw. *sad* *pout* Oh wells...he could always come back from the dead...it doesn't seem uncommon for characters to do that in this thread. wink ))

"I need to speak with this person alone." she said, her voice slightly forceful to prove the point of how she wanted to go alone. She had always worked better alone and thats how she proffered it. "You've also been gone a long time, I'm not sure if you even know whats happening in the city these days.. With Aki gone... Its proof of how much worse it is..." She looked at her friend's corpse and sighed softly. "I'm going." she said, turning slowly and heading back out of the mansion and making her way into the city quickly, having some idea where to look for Lucis.

((Thats true Will, since it seems like almost every character that has died has come back at some point. >.< ))

~{No, Darius, after his long eight years, has been finally and permanently put to death. He will not be returning.}~

Let us dance.

Whisper to me, lies of hope

So... Let us dance.
Faragos nodded. "Fine, but I'll be nearby. I'm not letting another friend die." He said solemnly.

"I'm not going anywhere." She mumbled as she began to cross the park. It was dark. Darker then normal which made her slightly worried as to what was happening, but she had a brave face on. She was going to meet Lucis.

It didn't take her long to reach the abandoned building that Lucis had been hiding out in, as she got there quickly, knowing the way even though she had only been there a few time. She looked up at the building with a frown. "You better be here..."

Faragos followed Hitomi, moving from shadow to shadow. He didn't make a noise. He wasn't even sure Hitomi knew he was in pursuit.

As they approached the building, Faragos crouched, hand on the hilt of his blade.
