"Oh, sweet, sweet Lucifer in Hell.....how foreboding can we get....when a Vampire and a Fallen fall helplessly into the arms of love? This is, truly, a work of God." The Vampire laughed.
"Don't you think so, Djose?" Her head lolled be a bit, then lolled to the right so that she could look behind her with a sardonic grin.
A servant stopped and bowed to her, smiling slyly as his white hair fell over his face. He was used to her knowing where he was before he got there.
"Of course, Rinn. Of course." He laughed wholeheartedly and walked next her, sliding a trey onto the the glass table beside her.
"Type A pure, just as you always request."
Rinn chuckled and looked back out over the city of Tokyo, her finger on her temple as she mused in her own thoughts.
Where the two sat was something of a wonder upon itself: high above most of the tall buildings, where the roof of Darkest Incorporated stood like a beacon in the sky, Rinn lounged. About twenty feet away from her was a large pool that stretched out over most of the surface: A private luxury that she often didn't have time for.
Of course, inside the building were countless inside facilities with pools, Jacuzzis, spas......all you'd to do was name it.
"........what do you think the outcome of all this will be, Mr. Djose." Not a question. A command.
The Vampire looked at Rinn thoughtfully, then stared over the horizon. "I'm afraid I don't understand what you're asking...."
She grinned psychotically, shadows around the roof top swirling and lurching for her symbiotically. Then they stopped abruptly and went back to their places, as if nothing abnormal had occurred.
"All in due time, Djose.....all in due time....oh, by the way," She glanced back at him, a bored expression on her face.
"Go downstairs and tend to the caters of our guests'. You've done what you can for me."
Laughing, Djose turned and walked back towards the staircase. "As you wish."
