Caine leaned against one of the posts on the railing and sighed. "You gonna be alright, Aki?"

"Ill be fine. As long as noone comes here and storms the place in the hopes of killing me." Aki laughed and ran her fingers through her hair.

Caine laughed. "If you want, I'll keep watch. Make myself useful."

"I was kidding Caine." Aki smiled and walked down the stes and into the front yard watching as it started to rain. "Why does it always have to rain just as I step outside?"

Caine chuckles and blushes in slight embarassment. "I knew that." He looked out at the rain. "Maybe it just likes you."

Aki walked back up onto the porch and sat in the swinging chair watching the rain fall. "Why would it like me?"

Caine shrugged and turned to look at Aki, the rain behind him. "I've heard of natural elements taking an affinity to a being. Maybe the rain likes you."

Aki shrugged. " I guess the feelings mutual. I like the rain too." She laughed at how corny that sounded.

Caine also laughed. "Maybe then you're meant for each other, you and the rain." He shook his head and laughed at himself. "God, I sound like my father."

Aki laughed. "I guess so." Aki stood up and walked over to Caine. "Is it a bad thing that you sound like you father?"

He shrugged. "My father and I never really got along."

" Your lucky you even got to know your dad I didnt know mine. " Aki looked back out at the rain.

"I'd rather I didn't know my father. He always pushed me to be him, an exact replica, I guess."

Aki nodded sadly. "Sorry.."
