Another joined and now he knew that this was a setup or at least an ambush. Being in crowded places with the cops so close by was not setting well with the Russian. His hand was trailing closer and closer to his vest with every breath the others took. Not one to be of ill manners though, he simply nodded his greeting to the new comer. "Nozing has bee interrupted, I assure you. Just business." Maybe he should have printed off a few business cards with his number on it. Vektor laughed inwardly at the thought. That would be too easy. "And now my business appears to be done. If any of you are ever up for my offer, it still stands. Perhaps it vill be under less strenuous circumstances. Maybe more in my territory. But you've all got less zen three days. Not my vords. You'll hear the news soon enough." He let that bit of info slide easily, just to keep them on their toes. Jericho's message had been an interesting one that promised great outcomes to whoever got the prize first.

He was about to turn and leave when he noticed Ryan show some manners, even if he let his mouth run too much for an assassin. The outstretched hand was not ignored. Vektor took his hand into his own but gave it a firm squeeze, pressing his thumb into the appex that seperated his short digit from the rest of his fingers. Vektor remained smiling however even in the midst of such a threatening gesture. It was merely a warning. "You've been fun to talk vith, Ryan. Let us hope zhat you're pretty little mouth doesn't cost you your life," he whispered. He let go soon enough and began to head down the sidewalk. He stopped only a bit, waving his fingers at Nicolas to follow. He had taken his offer right off the bat. There was no way he was gonna share such a hefty bout of info in front of everyone and not get anything out of it. "Vant to know? Zen follow to find out." If only the Angels' Leader knew he was stealing work in his lands. He needed to get back and soon. The case on his back hung firmly against him and his steps were precise. A few blocks away and he would be safe enough to talk about anything.

And I want to be,
Anyone in the world but me
Trapped in the body of a man defeated,
I am the shame of mistakes repeated

Det. In. Thorngate the shiny gold plaque said as it rested on the desk. It actually said horn gate but that is because paper lay across it as Matt tried to get threw his paperwork. There was so much and he was getting more irritated with each second that passed. Paperwork really put a downer on the cop thing. He thought it would be excitement but most of the time he was made to do paperwork because of his aversion to following the rules. He was no criminal but he didn’t care for rules and regulations. So he went against them half the time. It didn’t matter but to him it seemed a waste that he was sitting behind a desk when the world was falling to pieces out there. He sighed as he leant back his chair looking up at the clocck making it’s steady tick that was the only noise in the room. It was getting late but he was still there slogging away at his job. He took a sip of his lukewarm coffee before setting it down on the stack of papers, the rim leaving a nice brown ring on the forms.

He was about to carry on before a call came through to his mobile. “DI Thorngate.” He said as he picked it up. The Police operator told him of a disturbance nearby and as he was the only cop left at the station at this time he would have to go out. The operator also said that he would notify other Police Officers that were in the area.

Matt ran out the station and into his car before speeding off. He placed his light on top of the car and the siren rang out as he sped towards the destination. On his way he noticed a group standing outside the bar but he paid little attention to them. He skidded to a stop and got out his car. His Police issued gun in his hand as he got out his phone and rang to see if any of the others were in the area.

Ryan
Never a dull moment

Ryan smiles as the lord squeezes his hand and before Nicholas can walk away he looks over to him "Yes this is my natural hair color and as for your comments I may show you sometime Jailbait see you soon freelancer" With this Ryan turns and walks into the night back further into Angel territory, he may just go and see him for a while also. Back in the pub he opens up the internet on his phone and searches for 'The angel' A couple of numbers come up and he writes one of them down on a napkin. Turning the internet off he jabs in the numbers. Ryan has been an assasin for a long time now and he is thinking of joining up.

Jack King
The boss, the head honcho, the king.

Jack heard the siren. He swore under his breath as he ran through the building and kicked open a door at the back of it. Watching the wood splinter as his foot went through it he had a second to think. The cops were on their way meaning that he had to hightail it out of there as quick as he could. He stepped through the broken door and ran along the small alley at the back of it. It ended and he was back on the street of the bar again a little distance from the bar. He had ran quite quickly as the building was full of dead bodies and not even him would be able to get out of it. Even though he had power he wouldn’t be able to be pull the strings.

He found another alleyway before darting into it. He wiped of his gun and dropped it in to a dumpster half way along. Thankfully the blood had missed him so he wouldn’t have to destroy his clothes. Jack heard voices talking and the unmistakable accent of his rival. He stepped out of the alleyway and walked over to the group that stood there. The blond cop, the two assassins and the Chained boss. “Chained.” He said coldly as looked at the other crime lord. He showed no emotion, not even hate. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket again but let it go to voicemail. All of his men were dead so he knew that it couldn't be them. Also he was concentrating on the men in front him. One thing at a time.

The 'Best' at 'Being'. . .the 'Best'.

The long haired male just stretched slightly, sure he had paperwork but damn. It was hard to stay in the office for a whole day and even for over time? Are you serious, you think Syn will actually do overtime? Not at all, the male quickly just wrote some fake s**t and took his things and headed off. He needed a drink, but he wasn't a fan of drinking why? Just because he get's all foolish and star acting up. Well as if Syn was already foolish and random, well drinking just get's him into a mod of talking, fighting, laughing and other stuff. He thought quickly slipped on into his small jacket barely getting to his hip. He surely have to find something to do, he had heard some small news around it wasn't like he cared. Well yeah he did care...in his own little way.

Syn quickly was strike of what? Hunger. Syn ate food regularly, sure how does he even keep that slim figure of his..It's a secret. Well not really he just goes to the gym a lot. Walking out of the building, he walking felt the small breeze hit his body, which felt pretty awesome in his point of view. The male yawn slightly, he was surely to get some food when he gets home. He is a picky eater when it comes to be eating outside. Putting his hands into those tight jeans, it didn't look possible to be able to even walk in those. But in Syn's world he is able to move freely. Jump, skip, climb, run. You name the action and he's able to do it in those jeans.

Those sharp crimson eyes just looked at the faces he passed, he knew almost everyone in the city of course. Why do they call hims Mouse anyways? Syn nearly knew everyone, by face or a least by name, and that he could escape in such quick way like a mouse. Back at the headquarters just decided to use that damn name for a joke when he was smaller and now it's permanent...How annoying is that eh? Being nearly annoyed to death with that nickname, but Syn 'just' started getting used to the name like a couple of months ago. He kept walking on the sidewalk, quickly noticing the group of ma--...What in the world did Matthew had to make a big ol entrance with the damn car. Seriously? What a waste of gas, he knew he was going to call up the other enforcements. Lucky he was the side note, he just let out a small sigh, as he just had to do his damn job right.

Syn was about to walk over to dear Matthew. He just let out a small sigh thank god he'll just have to cross the street to get to Matthew. The male just quickly got to his destination. Leaning on the other's car showing his badge to the other. "Hm now what's the issue DI?" He asked calmly, he didn't want anything to deal with. But he had no choice, he was bored and he knew he wouldn't be able to pass the crowd without them getting bad thoughts. "Is it the gangs again?" He asked curiously.

Alexander “Alex” Kerberos

Alex blinked. Even though he had been in the business for a while now, he’d never meet another who was as vague, talked in metaphors, and generally bats*** crazy as he was. People would assume that would be a point to bond over, but Alex felt instant dislike towards the other white haired male (Nicholas, of course. They all needed nametags or something. Though Ryan hadn’t presented much of a good first impression either). Recognizing someone with a viewpoint that is essentially yours as crazy requires some serious introspection. Alex knew that he was a few cards short of a full deck, but couldn’t help thinking, “Hmm, do I sound like that?’

”I think the phrase I’m looking for here is, ‘You just got told’”, Alex snickered at Ryan as he walked away. He was about to catch up to the Chained leader and ask his price (it’d been a while since he worked for that faction, maybe a change of scenery would be nice) when he heard a shout and saw the blond cop from the bar with a pistol. Alex let out a soft “tsk, tsk, tsk” as he shook his head and walked towards him, seemingly unarmed. ”You’re new at this, aren’t you?” he commented, stepping in the path of the gun. A blur of motion caught his eye as the leader of the Angels appeared. Just his luck. Two prospective employers in one place. And what better way to make an impression at a job interview than a demonstration?

'Zere vas vonce a little actress, dancing on ze moon,' a voice sang in his head when he heard a sudden shout behind him. He glanced over his shoulder to see an officer no less pointing a gun at his new recruit. 'Guess ze money vill have to come later zis time,' he thought. Noting that the man did not seem to notice or care for his presence, Vektor had no qualms leaving Nicolas on his own. The kid could take of himself and it wouldn't hurt to watch how he would handle this situation. Hmm, what if they could gain the trust of a police official? He watched as the newer of the group walk over towards Nicolas and the police officer, obviously suicidal or brave. Oh, this should be fun. Vektor was watching from the other side of the street when somethign caught his eye.

It wiped the smile off of his face when he recognized the tall man standing just outside an alleyway behind the cop. 'Sheet.' He had stayed here for far too long and now Jack had shown his face. Not what Vektor wanted right now. He was way out of his zone to even attempt to explain what he was doing in Angel territory. And with an officer just feet away and more patrol cars around the corner, Vektor couldn't shoot him. But Jack might be crazy enough to try and kill him now just to get it over with. 'Damn, and I zought I vould get to see zis.' Jack was outright and blunt in his approach while Vektor prefured the quiet way of things, more secretive. Call him old fashion. Making eye contact with the Angel's Lord and Leader before looking back at the police and others, he let himself step backwards before taking off into an alleyway. His region was still many blocks off and it wasn't like he could just hail a taxi. No. He was running.

He tightened the strap of his case, the heavy object hugging his back as he dodged a few trash cans, an alley cat, and three suddenly opened doors. "Run, run, as fast as you can," he mumbled to himself, reciting a phrase from a childrens' book.

Jack King
The boss, the head honcho, the king.

Jack watched the Chained boss runaway. Reluctant to stay in a group of people that he didn't control and fear that the cops would be on him in seconds, also there was a cop standing right in front of him and if got wind of what had happened he'd be done for. Jack walked away from them all and walked along the street. He walked around 10 minutes until he saw a park in front of him. The gates were closed but he just climbed over the fence and landed on the grass the other side. When on the other side of the fence he strolled over to a tree and sat against it. His mind was clogged with the events of the night and he needed to concentrate. He stared up into the sky and watched the clouds move over the stars above him and the moon that hung in the sky.

Alexander “Alex” Kerberos

The world was going to hell. Everyone knew it, though no one said anything. Instead, they tried to keep up their oh so precious status quo as it all hit the fan. Human brutality now came prepackaged in expensive suits and big law books to hide behind. Clubs and swords had been replaced with more “civilized” weaponry, like chemicals and guns. Humans were just animals, with a higher opinion of themselves than the rest of the kingdom. As long as there were standards, lines separating the concepts of “good” and “bad”, “civil” and “uncivil”, whatever, humanity could maintain the illusion of superiority.

Alex never believed in staying between the lines. While most modern assassins followed human nature and killed with guns, Alex had long embraced his wild side and only carried a firearm when he was on a job. He didn’t need a gun to kill people, he could do that himself, thank you very much. And that was a very marketable skill.

But a glance back told him that his audience had deserted him. Alex gritted his teeth in frustration. Cowards. Well, there was no point in killing this guy now. But, Alex had a reputation to uphold and there were still two pairs of watchful eyes. “Hey, I’m the unarmed one here, officer,” Alex pointed out, completely honest as he approached steadily. ”Hypocrite much?” He got close enough to duck out of the path of any potential bullet and deliver a swift kick that sent the gun flying out of the cop’s hand. ”I just lost two potential jobs. Stay in your office or enjoy an early retirement officer, I don’t have time for this s***,” Alex almost snarled as he followed through with a punch to the gut. He rounded a corner and quickly disappeared into the night.

'Not quite zere yet.' Vektor had to stop after his burst of speed, only clearing five blocks. He could already see a bit of the sky now that the buildingers were slowly clearing up. Controlling the East side, there were fewer skyscrapers but more financial institutions and conglomerates. But of course it was still apart of the city which meant it had it's fair share of illegal dealing. So close yet seeming so far. Vektor took a seat on a bench at a bus stop. The silver haired man unfastened the strap of his case, the tight force instantly allowing him to breath when he undid the black leather. Vektor propped the violin case next to him before leaning back and taking in a few deep breaths. Busy day, busy day. A good job, a good drink, three applicants, a frenzy of cops, and he caught a glimpse of Jack. How many months had it been since he last saw the Angel up so close? Five? Seven?

'Looks like he's been doing vell,' he thought with a silent tone of snark in his voice. He fanned at his open collar, puffing his shirt to get air circulating against his chest before standing up again. He looked at the bus route that was posted next to the bench to find the quickest way out of this part of the city. Lamp lights and cars were rushing by and a constant sound of chatter was everywhere. There was never a quiet night in the city unless you locked yourself away in a tower. Vektor thought over his encounter with the young men he had met today. All promising prospects. They knew that the Chained zone was far from where he had met them. Surely one would follow within the next few days.

Picking up his case and finding that the shortest route was down Craven Ave. he set off, case strap in hand instead of over his shoulder. If he could find one more job then his night would be complete.

Amato couldn't lay in bed anymore. He was basically making himself depressed. He quickly threw on some pants, non-circus, and his bright yellow vest. He tried to think of what to bring as he put his boots on. He quickly looked around for his cell phone and headed out the front door.
???
He looked up at the sky as he walked through the streets for once. Normally he would be rushing and rarely ever gets time for himself. He slightly smiled at the peace around him and continued to look up at the sky, not really looking where he was going.
???
Eventually he found himself at a park or something of the sort. It wasn't the nicest place but it was better than being in an area where a gang war or something was going on. He walked through the grass. He didn't know where to go. "God this is getting annoying," he mutted and pulled a few hair pins out, letting his hair fall down almost to his shoulders.

Matt looked over to Syn and nodded politely. Syn the mouse was his opposite in everyway. Matt went in places all guns blazing, didn’t care about the consequences and didn’t have the patience to sit around and wait like most in his profession would do. Matt was a doer not a thinker. A fighter but also a lover as well but he wouldn’t dwell on that. He transferred his gun into his left hand and took out his badge to show Syn. “Hello Officer Mindell.” He said, using his last name as he did with everyone. “I guess so. I got a call saying that someone heard gunshots and when they went to investigte they heard shouting. They decided not to go in which is good. If it had been the gangs then we would have had a civillian body to deal with as well. It seems to be quiet now but you can’t be too sure.” He moved towards the building his gun aimed. ‘Where’s the others?’ He thought to himself as he entered the building.
