Yuuen smiled as he heard the phone be picked up. "Viktor, it's nice to hear from you again." He paused here slightly, then decided it would be best to remind him who he was. "It's Ace. Just wanted to give you a call back. Honestly didn't think you'd answer." He stifled a yawn, the continued. "So, what were you trying to ask me again?" He didn't have much time for small talk. It was already day light. All night out of commission. He was wasting money.. as well as time at this rate. So he figured that it was okay to skip the pleasantries this time around. He couldn't afford to wait anymore... plus he still had to pick up the gun as well.

So, back to strictly business protocol this time. Just like all the others. Besides, he didn't feel very warm towards the man who made him wait all ******** night. He didn't appreciate being held up like that, muchless being treated like a child.

Which he insists that he isn't.

Ryan
Never a dull moment

Ryan decided to walk the half a mile back to his apartment building. He figured that he wasn't needed, this was probably his only job. He reached his apartment and greeted the doorman with a wave. Ryan knew no other assasin's that had doormen, well Ryan knew no other assasin's period. By now the head of the 'Angels' would probably be out to kill whoever had taken a shot at him. Ryan knew better than to lay low for a while. His mind wandered back to a time where he didn't kill for a living. Now look where he had ended up working for someone who right now, he wanted nothing more than to take himself over to Jack and have a nice little word with him. Ryan lay down on the bed and fell into a light sleep, no dreams occured for Ryan, only nightmares.

He woke suddenly and walked into his bathroom to take a shower, shower's always soothed the assasin's nerves. Stepping out he got dried and put on a pair of old trousers for it was too warm for a top. He walked over to his drink's cabinet and mixed himself whatever he could find.

Jumpstart myheart, burn on through the dark poison in my blood.I will come undone.

And it’s so easy when you’re evil
This is the life, you see
The Devil tips his hat to me
I do it all because I’m evil

Alexander “Alex” Kerberos

Alex shrugged, feeling a bit lost in the other man's eyes. “Whatever you like, boss. It’s Kerberos, Alex Kerberos. And you’re welcome.” Even before he’d stopped speaking, Alex ran forward and all but tackled Jack out of the bullet’s path. He’d heard the snap of the safety catch earlier and reacted instinctively, but was surprised to find that the shooter was way off his mark. He ran to the edge of the roof to spot the familiar head of white hair disappear into an alleyway. ”Your would be shooter is one Ryan Howe, offered a job by Chained about two hours ago,” he informed his new boss. “Do you want me to go after him?”

And I do it all for free
Your tears are all the pay I’ll ever need.

“Right, right. Sorry about ze previous interruption. It vas… Unprofessional. My sincerest apologies.” Had to get back on the man’s good side. Ace had bothered to call back so he was now a valued customer who had gotten information from either another customer or someone who knew something. “I…” Vektor looked around for that paper and pen on his desk, moving his glass away and sitting up in his chair. “Vanted to ask vhat kind of gun you are looking for? Short range or long range firing?” A basic question with utmost importance. You couldn’t give a guy who has only wielded a handgun a rocket launcher. Goes was the same the other way around.

Yuuen smirked. At least the man... sounded sorry. It was good enough for him, for now at least. He changed back to his not-so irritated tone. Calm and composed was what he needed right now. "I want something that's good at distances and close ups... but it's light. I can't be lugging around a twenty-pounder, now can I?" he laughed. "It'd be a little suspicious if they were to see a skinny 15 year old running the streets with it." It. slipped.

Oh s**t, what the hell am I going to do!? But he decided... it wasn't time to panic yet. So he cleared his throat. "Ah, sorry about that... erm, I hope that it doesn't effect our ah, deal..." he indeed did sound a little more nervous, but still retaining his dignity as an assassin.

Vektor wrote down a few gun types at the boy’s description, absent-mindedly nodding his head against the phone as he listened to the other explain. The conversation took a veer however when the other seemed to be a bit ruffled about revealing his age. Vektor chuckled into the receiver. “Calm down, Ace. Like I said before, age is nothing but a number. I vas seven vhen I picked up my first gun.” It was a little something he divulged from his past to calm the fears of his buyers. But he never went any farther than that. “So zen, you vant long distance range, silent, but some zing you could probably hide in a coat, right?” He’s heard this order before. Everyone wanted that perfect gun that was good for close and long range, that could be undetected on the user’s body. Pretty popular order as of lately. Easy to come up with. “Okay. I’ve got a few zat you might be interested in. I vill bring zem to 207 Bourbon Street, near ze docks. Vhen is a convenient time for you to meet me?” He jotted down the address quickly so that he could remember for later. He never did dealings for guns here. Che, you think he wanted everyone to know where he hid out? He was a hard man to find for reasons. Vektor didn’t need the publicity. So far, only Ryan knew where he was located. Hopefully the idiot wouldn’t blab at the first sign of danger.

"Everyone wants one because every one else has one." he chuckled a little bit here. "But that sounds about right for me anyways."
Yuuen quickly jotted down the place. Bourbon Street... wasn't too far from him. He decided he'd rather get the deal over and done with... quickly. But, it was day light out. It would be... well, more sane since he was unarmed... "How quickly do you think you can get it to me? I'd like it... as soon as possible." He was getting jittery now. It was almost intoxicating, thinking that he'd have a new one... a brand new gun, this time all his own.

The white haired man gave a quick estimate about how long it would take to gather the equipment, ammunition, and get ready and head straight there. "I can meet you in twenty minutes tops," he guessed. Bourbon street was near the riverside and that was a bit far from where he was which was good. Vektor was already on his feet, the phone chord stretching slightly as he moved to grab his case from it's spot against the wall. "Is that satsifcatory vith you?"

"Yes, of course it is." Yuuen replied. "See you in twenty minutes then." Yuuen hung up his cell and turned to his room. He... needed to find another... Look for himself. After all, who trusts someone with a face they've yet to see?

As he was getting ready, he paused for a moment. He looked down at the table where the broken gun lay. He figured he should bring it with him... Just as a precaution... He could do pretty well with a bluff.

But there was something else he wanted to ask. If Vector was such an acclaimed weaponest that someone suggested him to Yuuen who was super picky, then Vector should be able to answer the question.

What exactly did the gun mean...?

“See you zere,” he replied before the line went dead. He hung the phone back on it’s cradle with care. He was fast with guns so his case could wait. Vektor took off out of his room, stripping off his vest and shirt. Ryan had done his job so to wander the streets in his usual attire would be foolish. He had reached the bathroom by the time he had begun doing his belt buckle. Stripping down to nothing, Vektor took a quick cold shower to freshen up. Not even five minutes before turning off the water and digging through the towel closet for street clothes. No one would ever suspect the High and Mighty Chained Leader to dress like a normal person. Grabbing a red shirt and pulling it on over his head, he multitasked with towel on his matter hair, trying to pull on a pair of jeans as well as socks at the same time. He came hopping out of the bathroom, socks squeaking against the wooden floors. He had to move quick.

Towel still on his head to keep the water from dripping onto his arsenal, Vektor quickly opened drawers and wall panels, removing the AK from it’s place in his case and other mini handguns, replacing them with newer models, silencers and scoped filling in the spaces. He worked quickly, hands flying over parts and cartridges, strapping them inside his violin case before he snapped it shut. Without his usual attire of long sleeves and loose vest, he couldn’t carry the wrist knives he usually adorn. Minor set back. He took those off but pulled on everything else. A small dagger strapped to his leg, a Derringer at his lower back, a Browning in a secret compartment in his carry case, and a sharp razor tucked away in his hair tie when he pulled the white hair back into it’s band. Tucking his cell into his pants’ pocket as well as his wallet, Vektor was already running for the door, slipping into a pair of shoes he pulled out of the closet.

Case in hand instead of on his back, Vektor ran to the meeting spot with time to spare. He wanted to get their earlier than his client to make sure the coast was clear and void of any hidden dangers. And maybe he would set up a few traps as well just in case. When twenty minutes had come and gone, Vektor waited by the wooden planks of the docks, staring out into the river, watching the ferry flow down stream. He didn’t look like a weapons’ dealer in this outfit. Hopefully anyone else would think the same thing.

After a while, Kiseki's stomach growled. He remembered leaving his dinner at the bar, unfinished. Hunger overtook him as he ran back, opening the door quickly. He grabbed his dinner, but before he left, he spied a paper umbrella and card on the floor. Picking it up, he blushed at the text. G-G-Gorgeous?! He locked the door once again, heading home. This time, maybe he'll call from his apartment. It was dangerous to be out so late. After a long walk in the dark, he arrived at his apartment. now, to find out who owned the cellphone number. He dialled the number with a shaking hand before pressing his phone to his ear.

Yuuen... Just basically took off his signature coat. That was it. He was in disguse. He, however, pull on a jacket over his clothing, and he also messed up his hair... alot. It was usually straight and neat, but for the sake of... looking different... but yes. By the time he had debated down whether or not he should take the old gun, he realized he only had, oh, about ten minutes to get to the designated location. "Oh s**t, s**t~!" he shouted, grabbing his gun and phone on the way out. Many times he had questioned himself this: why did he choose to live on the top floor? He liked it a lot, it did come with an elevator, but he tore down the stairs, assuming they'd be faster. He looked at his phone. Five minutes. Some first impression he'd make, running there like a child. Yuuen finally reached the bottom landing. He paused to catch his breath quickly. At this rate, I'll be at least fifteen minutes late... if not more he thought as he set out through the back way. Although it was broad daylight, and he looked nothing like he usually did, he was still cautious.

With his detours, and dodging around an old client, it took him a grand total of thirty minutes to reach the dock, and that was just from his house. He sighed and stopped running. Damn... he's probrably gone already. He looked around the harbor, not really seeing much of anyone. Other than some guy with an instrument case. Couldn't be him...

After the first ten minutes, Vektor was beginning to think this was a set up. His left hand was shaking a bit, his index finger curling into itself as if squeezing an imaginary trigger to a gun. He didn’t like not having his sleeves. But he was the one to start all this, so he would have to deal with the consequences and take the disguise in stride. He looked around and only two people had passed by, didn’t even come near t o where Vektor stood. After twenty minutes, he took to sitting on the docks, legs hanging off the edge and case in his lap. He checked his phone for the hundredth time, looking at the time. He wasn’t sure what to think. Was the kid lost? Or did he just stood up? Damnit, he had better things to do than wait out here in the open. Brat didn’t know Vektor was risking his life staying out here for this long just for a new gun. The only thing that kept him from leaving was the view. He hadn’t had much time to himself to just stare at the scenery. The sun was being reflected off of the water and he could hear an airplane fly overhead. He checked his phone once more. “Zirty and zen I’m leaving,” he sighed, getting up and dusting himself off.

He shifted his weight from one leg to the other, just standing there. He felt like a suicidal man arguing with himself whether or not he should drown himself in the river or not. He rolled his eyes. “Zis is pointless,” he muttered under his breath. Thirty minutes. That was it. If he ever heard from Ace again, it’d be the end of him for making Vektor waste his time. He turned around, carrying the case behind his back with one hand when he noticed someone who wasn’t there before. Vektor noticed that he was also looking around, if not a little out of breath. His blue eyes narrowed as he tried to guess the boy’s age. ‘Might as vell try. No loss now.’ Reluctantly but finding no reason not to, he began to walk towards the lone boy who looked around like he was lost.

Vektor stopped a couple of feet away, not wanting to seem over bearing, especially if this wasn’t the right person. “Ace?” he asked, looking at the side of one the buildings. If not, he could always play it off as if he sneezed and keep walking.

I. am. screwed. were his only thoughts as he stood there looking aorund. He sighed and was about to leave, when the man with the case approached him, but then addressed the building rather then he. "Ace?" Yuuen turned around to meet face to face with a white haired man. He didn't look too old, but he couldn't guess his age. "Um, yeah, that's me.. Yuuen Ace." He couldn't really think of anything else to say, mainly because Vektor looked really ticked. "Eh, sorry about the hold up..." he said, smiling apologetically. But he stood his ground and looked Vektor in the eyes. "I was... debating whether or not I should show this to you. My old gun. I was wondering if you had anything like it. He pulled out his father's gun and held it in his hand for the weapons specialist to see.

So, it was him. Vektor felt like he could have decked the kid right across his pale cheek, wanting to leave the imprints of his ring right in his jaw for making him wait. But that wasn’t how you did business. No matter how late the client was. Vektor stowed away his frustration inside of him. He’d use it later if he needed to. He let out a held breath when Ace told him his name. Yuuen, eh? Was it ever smart to tell a complete stranger who knew a lot about weapons your name? Well, then again, it could be a fake name. Vektor listened to Yuuen apologize. ‘Vell… At least he showed,’ Vektor thought. He watched with little interest when the kid mentioned about his old gun. Well, it wouldn’t really matter since Ace requested a new gun entirely, not a repair. Vektor didn’t have the equipment with him to fix anything.

“Let me see it,” he finally said when Ace pulled it out of his jacket. Hmm. It looked familiar. Must hae been one of the popular model brands that had been released about… Three years ago, from what he could tell by just looking at it in Yuuen’s hand. When the other didn’t fight him about it, Vektor grabbed the barrel firmly and lifted it out of Ace’s hand. He flipped it over so he could do a complete over this gun. “Damn.” What did he do to this gun, throw it into traffic? The etchings of the creator to the gun were scratched off completely, the grip was worn in, and the hammer was cracked. If it did work somehow, it would have blown Yuuen’s thumb right off. He flipped it over once more in his palm, ready to give it back to Ace, ready to tell him that it was just best to get rid of the gun. He couldn’t fix this, but something caught his eye and he stopped in mid reach.

“Vhere did you get zis gun?” he asked, eyes locked onto a small engraved ring of chains glinted in the light of the sun. He looked at it closer, noticing the small etching of a lock at the bottom of it. Vektor’s eyes narrowed and he looked back up at Yuuen. “Did you steal zis? Who did you steal zis from?!” he barked, his anger rising again.
