((yeah i gotta go soon too..sigh))

"Looks like pretty bad..." she sighed and then move d back falling to the floor and reaching under the control panel for something. She almost disappeared completely under it, except for her feet. "oh...got it...." she came back out with a remote she had dropped.

She placed it on the control panel to synch the two togethr. "Ok...now lts see what we can find up top. " she smiled and walked to a platform in the middle of the ship.
Dero tilted his head. "What was that?" He followed her to the middle of the ship. "Any particular reason we are here?" He was spiraling again, trying to get a better view of where they were.
Lexa smirked "We are going to see whats going on from outside!" she laughed and pointed to a rope. "You might want to hold on to that...I dont want you flying over the side." she smirked and secured herself to another rope.

She had the remote flyer for the ship in hand and was ready to scout, once she raised the platform they were on. Behind her ear she had placed a com, just in case base contacted them.
Dero secured the rope around himself and sighed. "Are you sure these ropes are going to be able to anchor us?" He stopped himself from spinning around, so the rope didnt wrap around him. "Aren't we supposed to be heading back to base, and not dilly-dallying?" It was unlike him to be serious with a job.
" If your scared then stay inside..." she said and stuck out her tounge at him. " I am heading up. Either way we cant land at the base if they dont clear us. Especially if i am hauling your mech!" She crossed her arms waiting for him to decide.

[[ I wouldn't boot you for OOC'ing, the 'mechs you guys fought were from the enemy launch ship and while you were off melting his face, Marcus just blasted the other ship and sent it down. 3nodding ]]

Rex stared at the display blankly for a moment longer and took off out the door and down the hallway beyond. Marcus did not bother to follow, as he knew where he was going. Instead he just stared at the console, which the sight of a ship caught his eye on the display. It didn't show up in the orange color that the friendly ships did, instead in a white color indicating it as neutral, civilian or other in it's threat classification. He would have though them pirates if it was not the exact model of their gunships, but was not as far in as the rest of the other 'mechs and fighters and was... hauling something? He stared curiously at the ship, wondering why it was showing up as white and heard an officer speak behind him as if talking to another person, a little loudly. "Lone gunship, identify yourself. Tags are showing AMF-048215, are you Lexa Atreyu?" the woman asked and the blip on the holographic display changed from white to orange. Marcus smiled and walked out the door, down the hallway and into an elevator, taking it down to the level of the docking stations. He was glad that Lexa wasn't hurt from the battle.

Rex walked into a room, well-lit by the clounds and sunlight outside, but it did have it's darker area further away from the large window that took up the side wall. In the room was a pool table, some bookcases a table and a chess board, all divided off into sections with chairs and couches. Rex took a seat at a chair with a chess table in front of it and it lit up with a pre-saved game of pieces of the game. No-one was truly winning kill-wise, but strategically his opponent was. His opponent was Blue, a computer AI that he had never beaten, though only once, out of sheer luck as he wasn't paying attention. Blue had beaten him hundreds, if not a thousand times before, but Rex kept trying at the possibility that he would beat him out of strategy and skill. Though it was hopeless, he had just been finding better ways to lose, doing more damage each time he had tried, hoping that soon he would get the chance at the King piece. Playing chess was his stress reliever, much how girls, battle and alcohol in moderation was Mark's. He didn't have too much to be stressed about, except for the time he had spent out on the battlefield. It had been months since the last refueling and docking at an ALP and not a moment of that was he not patrolling the frontlines in the air. It was being getting to be a strain, and Marcus was noticing the slow decline of his mood, too. Rex moved a Knight piece and took a Rook, which Blue responded with by moving a Bishop piece into place, ready to strike. Rex moved a knight into a safe position to the fifth row and Blue instantly moved a different Bishop into place, moving his pieces forward closer to the frontlines of their battle. Rex stood and thought about the action, now seeing that almost anything he did would result in a loss on his part by one of Blue's pieces and any piece he took of his would leave a gap in the defenses. Rex sighed and looked out the window at the passing clouds and blue sky.
Just as lexa was about to kick Dero from the platform a scratch transmission hit her ears. “This is Lexa Atreyu requesting assistance. Seems like Dero’s mech needs its own special transport. You might need to open the large bay doors!” she laughed as she unlocked her rope and jumped off the platform. Probably leaving Dero spinning again from the running back and forth. She smacked the vid screen sending the verification code, just in case.

Her hands took to the panels, steadying the ship after taking it off remote flight. She would be able to land it easily.

(BRB cmpt needs a restart)
As the bay doors opened, Lexa eased the gunship in, careful not to scrath Dero's mech as she hovered and brought it down first. She reveresed the charge on the magnets holding the mech, causeing a smooth release and shut of. The ropes soon recoilded and Lexa landed the gunship. She opened the rear door. "Everybody OUT!!! she said with a smirk as she shut down the system, and placed the remote in her pocket.

She exited the back , makeing sure Dero exited too. Last thing she need was him locked in her ship. She pressed the lock on the remote to close the doors and walked through the docking stations. Her heals makeing a soft click as they made contact with metal. Soon she noticed someone walking into view, it was Marcus. Her mind started to think of possible excuses as to why they had missed , what seemed to be a big battle.
Dero was currently obsessing over the mark on the back of his mech that Lexa's cables had made when retracting. Some workers and robots were loading the mech on to a platform to take it to the cargo bay. From there, Dero would probably have some work done on the long range transmissions and the scratch. He turned around and sighed. "Great... Right after I gave it the new pain--MARCUS!!!" Dero was tempted to grab a bit of sake or something, and it hadn't yet been 10 minutes since he had gotten back to base. "Hey! You up for a little...?" He made a drinking motion with his hand and grinned at Marcus.

Marcus smiled at Dero and pulled out a bottle of whiskey, gently tossing it through the air at Dero. "Put some hair on yer chest" Marcus had said with an accent when he had caught it. He looked over at Lexa now. "It take ya that long to kill a 'mech? Ya missed all the fun! Well, it was kinda fun, apparently they couldn't read a radar worth two credits and I got to test out what those mass-drivers on this thing could do." Marcus stated, bragging about when he got to use the 700kg gauss cannon ion-induced HE slugs on the enemy ship, something he thought was oh-so pretty.
Lexa pouted giving a bit of a sigh "Lucky you...." she mummbled as she crossed her arms and walked past Marcus. She had just spent a fairly long time, in her mind, with Dero, who seemed to be always bragging or showing off about something, so having Marcus repeat the trend made her completely forget about any excuss she could have had for missing the battle. "I leave you boys to your little...celebration." she said waveing to Dero and Marcus as she hopped on the elevator.
((Sowwy. Ive been pretty busy lately. Debates have taken up a lot of my time XP))

Dero caught the whiskey and grinned. He took off the cap (Im assuming the future would use metal) and took a swig of the bottle. Whiskey wasn't his favorite drink, but it did the trick, and it had alcohol. He took another swig and sighed happily. "You sayin' that you used the big guns without me?" He acted like it was such a big deal that they had blown something up without him being there to watch.
(((woot...yeah for vacation time.....and yeah looks like peopel have disappeared..sigh))

Lexa rolled her eyes as she pushed the button on the elevator. She needed to get away from all the guys for a while. So she made sure to reserve some time to train and clear her mind. She sighed as she rested her head against the cold metal of the elevator waiting for it to reach her desired floor and hopefully get some sanity back in the process.

Rex sighed and stared at the chessboard. So far Blue and he had been getting the same number in kills, Blue was leading but Rex had some better pieces than he had taken. He looked down, wondering where he could move without putting himself in checkmate and realized that Blue couldn't move either without putting himself in the same position. The only problem was that it was Rex's turn. He could only make one move, that of a Bishop piece, which would also give him a better move on the King piece. He made the move and said "Check." Blue moved his last remaining Bishop and took Rex's. "Checkmate." Blue responded in his digitalized voice. It was true, Rex could not move without losing. Rex's back went limp and his head collided with the chessboard, laying there face-down on it. "Every time, Blue..." he said, a little depressed and annoyed by his loss and Blue winning again. He sighed again and closed his eyes. "New game." he said, lifting his head off the board when the pieces assembled in their perfect formation. He looked around the room, a little curious as to how no-one was in there, but yet, it was only used by him and maybe ten other people. It was the relaxation room, the lounge which held things to pass the time the old fashioned way. There was always the simulation rooms which Marcus seemed to enjoy being in, joining up in gun games and showing that his genetic modification made him all the deadlier, though he was a pilot. He took a breath and looked at the board, moving a pawn piece forward.

Marcus frowned when Lexa had left up the elevator. "Was it something I said?" he asked Dero. She was probably heading to her room, or the lounge or possibly the cafeteria. Her room was the temple which he had entered for the breifest of moments and regrets to this day of when she caught him, his right rib could still feel pain from that incident. The lounge was where he could find Rex and a few other "intellectuals", but was all boring to him. Of course, she might have just been heading off towards the mess hall to grab some grub, oh well.
Dero shrugged and took another swig of whiskey. "Dunno, she's been acting odd all day." He walked over to Markus and whispered. "Between you and me, I think it's that time of month." He chuckled and took another swig, almost emptying the bottle, which probably wasn't healthy. "Shhhhall we hit the Shimulation room?" He was swaying like a tree in the wind as he walked the elevator. Just one bottle of whiskey had gotten him drunk, this was why no one ever wanted to drink with him.
