Sileen's eyes flashed and she hissed as she saw the rider come into view. It was an Unseelie! She tightly gripped her weapon but remained in the shadows. By the looks of him, he was powerful and she didn't know if she was fully ready to go up against someone like him. Her eyes locked onto the weapon that he wielded and she frowned. She knew that weapon. How had he found it?
She stepped back and moved silently around him, pulling out her dagger as she readied to attack him. Sileen gathered the energy around her into her blade, compressing it so that when she struck it would explode outward in a flash of light. Her fingers curled tightly around the blade as she waited silently in the darkness.

Bane Ussth Avararn

Bane watched and listened carefully, searching for any sign of his enemy. He would find him there was no use hiding. The darkness belonged to him, it was his to control he was master. It would not pleasant, this one was a coward and he punished cowards, he would make this mans death long and agonizing..

"As you wish coward! You force my.. Hand!"

Bane raised his right hand and the shadows of the forest shifted and began to move towards him as if they were being drawn in. They raw shadow took form slowly making balck clouds that began to take a vaigly human form. Four creatures emerged from the cloud before it faded away, red eyes formed in the Wraith's heads and a hideous screech emanated from there mouths.

Sileen bit back a gasp as the shadows began to shift and move toward the Unseelie. As the wraiths started to form, she suddenly darted from the cover of the tree and flung a dart at his head, quickly following the first dart with another aimed at his chest. She knew that the move would expose her, but she had no other choice. She could no longer hide in the shadows and if she were to die then she'd rather die fighting than hiding like a coward.
The Seelie princess's own hand began to glow with a golden light as she held her dagger up at the ready, her light green eyes glaring at the man.
"I am no coward." she hissed.

Bane flicked his blade and swatted the darts out of the air. He recognized the girl, she was one of the big shots in the Seelie court, tho he could not remember her rank or name. He scowled from under his hood, glowing red eyes the only visible part of his face. He looked like a wraith himself. Bane pointed at the woman and spoke coldly.

"You hide in the shadows and attack your enemies without warning. You have no honor, you ARE a coward. Kill her."

The wraiths made a sound some where between a shriek of pain and happiness and flew at her. The four phantoms lashed out with pointed claws, there ability to drain the life of there victims when they made contact made them dangerous creatures. That and only few things could hurt them. There voices could disorient and confuse humans and anyone killed by a wraith became one. They were his favorite type of undead.

Splash, splash, splash. The sound of something hitting the water in a repeated pattern echoed through the snowy forest. The view of a young female dressed in black with her bare, white, and pale feet kicking lightly in a small stream could be easily seen by anyone passing by that location. The young lady was sitting on a rock, a large jagged stick sat on her lap as she did so, a small smile on her face. Her black clothes were torn in various places, it was like she had worn those same robes for years. Well, she had. They were washed frequently but the black robes was all the young female had in her possession, besides the large piece of wood in her lap. Her black hair was messy and tangled. Like she had just been victim to a mosh pit.

A small giggle escaped the womans mouth as her head tilted back, her black bangs revealing her face. The female had a blindfold over her eyes. It was obvious she was blind. Though after a few more moments her feet stopped kicking the water and her small smile became a straight and serious face.

"Oh Spirits, It's seems art thou battle has begun. Ember can feel it." She spoke as she turned her head to the left, the small smile returning.

"That way Ember thinks, Dark and Light shall tangle." Her soft voice echoed in the forest around her. Sliding off the rock her bare feet hit the snowy ground. Her black robes falling to her sides and her large stick now in her right hand as it stuck in the ground.

"Does thou fear blood will be spilled thus day?" She spoke, obviously speaking to something she believed to be around her. She called them "The Spirits." This young lady believed her visions were gifts from voices she heard in her head. An odd girl, but surprisingly her visions were true, and these Spirits she speaks of could very well be true as well, or they could just be figments of her imagination.

Sileen's lip curled and she quickly stepped back, bracing herself, then slashing at the attacking phantoms. Her dagger burst into light as she swung at the wraiths.
"You will not touch me!" she hissed coldly. "If I am a coward for hiding in the shadows then you are a coward for sending others to do your dirty work for you!"
Her blade was a glowing blur as she worked to keep the wraiths back. She couldn't afford to let them so much as scratch her, knowing how deadly they can be. Gathering the energy around her, she jumped back and released it in a strong concussive blast toward them.

Bane's face twisted into a wicked smile, she had a hand of light and something else... she was strong but that was no matter. He had fought for nearly one thousand years and never met a foe he could not fell. She would be no different, he blood would stain the ground and he would laugh as her soul faded and twisted into his minion.

"If you can not defeat my minions you do not deserve to meet me in battle. I am no coward, I strike not from the shadows but with them. Beg for your life and I may spare it."

The wraiths shrinked back from the light trying to avoid it and lunging when it faded. The burst of force pushed them back and they moaned loudly and angrily. The four spirits swirled around each other and formed one large wraith. This was know as a Dread Wraith, it was not a monster to be taken lightly. The living shadow dived at her and swept its massive clawed hand at her.

Sileen opened her mouth to snap a retort at the man when the wraiths formed together, making a giant shadow creature. She felt her stomach twist and she mentally cursed. Out of all the creatures she had to encounter, it had to be shadows! She quickly took a step back as it dove at her and she threw herself out of its path. Pain seared through her arm and she looked down to see four long gashes in her upper arm. The princess rolled to her feet and crouched there, glaring at them.
"Light, grant me strength." she murmured.
Sileen's hands started to glow, as did her blade, and she drew more energy toward her. She let loose a powerful blast of light and struck at the creature as the light lit up the entire clearing like a small sun. As she did so, she suddenly began to feel exhausted, her muscles trembling. Her knee buckled on her and she dropped to one knee, swaying slightly and nearly falling. She glared up at the wraith, trying to focus on keeping the light there to force it either into hiding or break it back into smaller, less powerful wraiths.

Ember stood, her body facing the direction in which she could tell the fighting was coming from. Her face was straight again and her hand moved to cup her chin, her finger tapping lightly.

"Ember feels darkness covering thine light." She spoke, her hand falling to her side as she smiled again. Her feet began to take small steps forward as they grew bigger each step, until she was walking at a normal pace. Her cold bare feet crunched the white snow under them. Her stick was placed in front of her as if to guide her from any obstacles.

"Ember has become curious. Ember wishes to seek truth." She spoke to the voices in her head. A small tune humming from her lips quietly as she walked. Her head began bobbing back and forth as she hummed quietly, her tangled black hair flowing with the bob of her head. It would seem from this action that she still had the heart of a child in her.

Bane chuckled as the girl was struck. However when his pet was hit with a blast of light his smile turned back to a frown. The Dread Wraith screamed very loudly and faded into the shadows. It was hurt and would not fight any more to night. He still had the advantage she had been hit which was going to make her weak and helpless. Bane dismounted and glided over to her, he held Durge in one hand.

"You have bested my monster but it seems your fate is sealed. Your weakness will be your down fall. Beg for you life and you will keep breath in your lungs yet."

Bane smiled down at her his long cloak danced in the breeze and his shiny green armor glinted in the moonlight. The Great Sword in his hand would end her if he so chose it. Durge would love to feast on her blood. But maybe she had some fight left yet.

((Not trying to ignore you Heartz of Spadez we are just busy with our little fight. lol))

What type of Fae are you?

((BTW, Heartz, I love your siggy!))

Sileen felt a surge of satisfaction as she saw the wraith withdraw, beaten for now. Her satisfaction faded as the man dismounted and moved toward her, seeming to float above the ground. Remaining on one knee, she glared up at him. She was panting and felt extremely tired. Mentally cursing the wraith, her grip on her dagger tightened.
"A princess of the Seelie does not beg." she spat. She spat on the ground, right in front of him. "I would die first."
Sending the light into her dagger, Sileen suddenly surged upward, aiming to drive the dagger into his chest. She refused to accept the fact that she had lost the fight, ready to continue fighting until her heart no longer beat inside her chest.
