((My character Hana is still waiting for deadblindmind soooo....All I can do is use Natalie.))
Natalie, still looking at the apartment building, sensed something living not far from her. It was a small thing with a timid nature and is full of fear. All of this she could tell, for she felt it as her own; sympathy moving her forward she began to search the cars.
With the now bright shining light from the sun filtering through the scattered fluffy puff of clouds, Natalie came across a small broken blue bug of a car, pinned between a material truck and a BMW, upon looking through the dusty cracked window she spies a small, red-brown, skinny tabby cat curled up on the back seat. Its breathing quick and shallow, and its tail and paws twitched and shuddered in the dream that ran through its small mind.
Openning the folded door, which crumbled in her hands, she gingerly reached in and scooped up the small brown tabby in her cupped hands. It woke in her hands and mewed confusedly, Natalie cooed and spoke soothingly as she held the cat against her heart and petted its ruffled fur with calming strokes. It calmed down next to her living warmth, but still continued to mew distressingly, its sharp little claws slightly scratched her skin but Natalie still smiled.
Knowing what the cat needed, Natalie shrugged it up on her shoulder where it burried its face in her brown hair, feeling a motherly love for the small kitten she gracefully entered the apartment building and stepped lighlty up the stairs to the second floor where she passed the door that held the three lucky chosen, she glanced inside and noticed the male sitting rather dejectedly in a recliner chair.
She smiled at him as she passed and continued down the hall, four doors down she turned to the right and turned the knob, she knew it was unlocked and she stepped inside. Walking without hesitation she found the kitchen and chose the correct cabinet and pulled out a small bag of cat food. She set the tabby on the counter, it meowed longling as she opened the bag and poured a handful on the counter next to the cat. She watched with loving eyes as the cat dug into the food with vigor.
