((Welcome ^-^ ))
((thankies...should Xiao come and save you from "burning up" from the car heater? bio says he's from a family of doctors so he should have some medical knowledge. I could make it my first random encounter))

((Technically it's Hypothermia but that would be helpful, that way I wouldn't have to explain how she survived without having to add some sort of supernatural happenstance xP hehe, just goes to show you how well I think ahead.))
((well, not supernatural per-say, but technically, your so cold, the weak car heater feels TOO hot, correct?))

Xiao hopped over what he assumed was a park bench...or maybe a bike rack. He couldnt tell anymore. As if the surrounding's weren't different enough 1 week ago, now their even more unrecognizable. Trekking on slowly, Xiao came upon some activity. there were people, moving about inside a car that was travelling down a broken road, coming closer towards him. From the distance, he saw one stationary figure....a woman perhaps? She was almost lifeless in the backseat, only twitching and giving off the odd muscle spasms. But as a ray of the almost non-existent sun shone down on the car, he noted her odd skin color.
"My word. She must be frozen solid! Well, being cooped up in an airtight car with a heater can't be good. She must thaw slowly and more naturally." He recalled some previous lessons from his father's clinic. If he left her alone for another fistful of minutes, she would probably be done for. But how could he help her while she's in a moving car?
"Well, we're all gonna die eventually anyways." He swallowed and took off to a running start, using a fallen lamp post for leverage, he vaulted himself onto the roof of the car and clung onto the sun roof, feeling his shoulders shake from the intense pull. Tapping down on the sun roof, he tried to slow the car down, or at least get roof open. "OI!!! SHE NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENT-" He was interrupted as the wind blew leaves into his mouth.
[Never mind, edit.]
----
Leon nodded, following her instructions. He dialled down the heater, getting hot himself. He opened his mouth to speak before he heard a thump on the roof. He looked up at the roof, starring into the eyes of a man looking down, shouting at him.
Out of instinct, Leon slammed on the brakes. "Tabernac!" he swore, surprised as hell. Was it raining survivors? The car stopped, and he opened the door, colder air rushing inside.
"What zee hell?" he asked, looking around for the figure.
((Sorry for the late reply ^^;; been studying))

Xiao instantly regretted his decision. Of course, it was natural for any driver to be startled by a man suddenly attacking their car roof. Of course, it was natural for said driver to slam on the brakes. And as by Newton's theory of Inertia, Xiao was sent flying right off the car, landing on his rump quite a distance away. Standing up, and dusting off his pants as if jumping on cars was an everyday occurrence for him. He quickly brushed past the exclaiming.....he wasn't sure what background the man was from. Even his basic english was strained, so the accented english was barely understandable.
"This woman has hypothermia." Xiao tried to explain. "If you take a victim out of the extreme cold and suddenly put them in the heat, it will overwhelm them, and their body's will break down." Xiao carried the unconscious woman out of the car and laid her flat on an old bench. "The best solution, is for her own natural body heat to warm her up." Xiao massaged her limps, applying pressure to certain points to increase her blood circulation, and heat up her body. After some mild first aid, he turned back to the other foreigner. "Um....excuse me, I meant no harm. I'm a doctor." He tried to explain, unsure if the accented man would understand his own oriental accent.
Leon listened to the man, mentally hitting himself. He hadn't known that. "Taberac..." he whispered, looking at Hana. "I am so sorry, I did not know." he said in a sincere tone. He walked over to the bench, watching as Xiao worked.
"Impressive." he said. "It would be good if you joined us...seeing as I am...inutile, really." he said, shaking his head. How could he have been so stupid?
Xiao stood up after a handful of minutes, satisfied with the results. "Do not fret, my friend. It's a common misconception to heat up hypothermia victims as much as possible, as soon as possible. You did the right thing." He patted the back of the other man, having no clue what he said, but was pretty sure he was disappointed in himself. "And I would be honored to follow, as I am still new to this....." He wasnt sure if the ruins counted as a new country. "Well, I am new to, here, at least. My name is Xiao."
Leon still felt horrible that he almost murdered one of the only survivors left, although that number was gradually growing. Still, he didn't think he'd be able to live with himself if he'd killed one of them.
"We are in zee same boat, mon ami. I arrived 'ere about three days before zis 'appened." he said, motioning around the area with a wave of his hand.
"Leon." he said to the man, extending his hand.
Xiao shook the man's hand, no longer feeling so alone in the new world. Cradling Hana up in his arms, Xiao lifted her back into the car and opened the windows. "It should be fine to drive like this. Now where is it you were headed?" Xiao inquired, sitting in the back seat with Hana. Laying down his satchel as a pillow, he let her rest across the other 2 seats in the back.

((Hahaha, that was funny xP))

Hana blinked, she could no longer feel anything, not even the cold, and as the haze in her mind darkened and took up more space her eye-lids fell lower and lower, the last thing she remembered was a loud thump that came from the top of the car. Is the sky falling agian? she chuckled in her mind at the bluntness of her question. In the emptiness of her mind she felt relief, sudden, quiet relief that went past any type of physical being, she would've been happy to stay in that peace and quiet but somewhere in the darkness she felt a sort of prodding. She could ignore it, but then the prodding got more and more pronounced, she woke half way from the easy unfeeling of the darkness to a sudden burning in her nerves. Then she could feel again, took her a moment to come back to reality then she realized she was cold and she felt something like a breeze. Her eyes flashed opened and she bolted, "Cold!" she cried. Her naturally hyper active body responded as naturally as would be expected of Hana. She furiously took to rubbing down every exposed part of her body, using the friction from her frigid fingers to warm herself up, and to her surprise it started working. After a few moments she stopped suddenly to stare at those that were in the car with her, her face completely straight. "Well what are you doing just sitting there?!" she said sudden with mock annoyance, "Get driving! If we're lucky then my apartment will be intact and if we're really lucky then the electricity might still be working. That means food in the refrigerator! And HEAT! Ohhohohohoh yes heat, I love heat, I love summer, the sun is HOT!"
"Aiyaaaa~" Xiao stared at Hana with amazement. He had helped her blood circulate better, so she should be feeling better, but he was still surprised at how quickly she was able to sit up and .....complain. What odd women, these Americans have. He thought but decided against saying it out loud. She probably packed a tazer somewhere too. He concluded that American women were quite dangerous.
"Ah...if it's food you want." Xiao leaned in over Hana, reaching into the satchel under her head, and pulled out some flat bread. "You can have this, although I'm afraid i don't have water." He offered her his bread. It was a little tasteless, but filling nonetheless.

Hana blinked at him, and she took the bread greatfully. "Thanks...and who are you?" She bit off some of the bread, it was bland and somewhat grainy, she made a funny face as she chewed and put on the straightest face she could muster, "This is...dalicious." She swallowed audibly, sat up and reached over the seat, so that her whole torso was hanging over it. "Hey Ana..." as Ana turned to speak Hana stuffed a good sized peice of bread in her open mouth, "Eat." Hana said finishing her sentence, she then did the same thing to Kiyoko. She tore off a piece and set on Leons lap, then handed the rest back to the new stranger.
Still feeling guilty, Leon climbed aboard the car as soon as Xiao got in. He looked back in surprise when Hana jumped up. She was...much different now that she was not dying.
"You look better." he said as she handed him the bread. He thanked her and took a bite. Not much, but it was something.
He started up the car, and headed off down the street, remembering perfect Hana's earlier instructions on where to drive.
" 'Ana?" he asked, then realized something. His accent caused him to drop H sounds...and if he did, both girls ended up having the same name. He grinned sheepishly, motioning to Hana. "I am going to need to figure out a system 'ere, due to my...accent. Anyways...I am sorry, I almost killed you out of ignorance." he told Hana.
Xiao took back the remainder of the bread, chewing on it quietly. He almost laughed when Hana squeezed the word delicious out. He knew it tasted bland, but continued to chew silently. Picking through his satchel, he pushed aside some first aid items, a set of acupuncture needles, and looked to see if he really had water. As he said before, he couldn't find any water, but he found a small flask that he took from his father's shelf, when packing to leave home. Shaking it, he heard some sort of liquid slosh around, and he opened it curiously, hoping it was water. Instead the stinging smell of whisky wafted out. "Herbal tea my a**." He muttered, thinking back to the lies his father told him when caught with the flask.

((SORRY makin a quick edit))

Taking a swig of the whisky, Xiao licked the corners of his dry lips, and turned to Hana. "My name is Xiao, and I helped save you from the hypothermia." He offered the flask to her. "Here, drink. It will warm your body."
