Vahn saw that his pendant was glowing and he felt Artemis' emotions of worry. "Kain, leave here unless you actually plan on being comrades." He said as he pointed one of his swords to his throat. "Fine, but hunt soon please, for I want them living as much as you do." He said as he disappeared in a cloud of mist. Vahn felt his pendant and closed his eyes. I love you as well, little sister. 
Artemis smiled and got up off her bed. She walked into the city and all the way to the pool of water where the crystal's were glowing. A feeling of peace and serenity came over her and she could feel herself unwind. Artemis took off her jacked and stepped into the warm water.
Vahn felt his heart thump even harder and he felt grief and misery. "Why? Why am I tortured like this?" He asked as he took out a blood pack and drank from it. When he was finished, he felt his heart slow down and sighed. "What have I become...?" He asked himself as he walked to the door and walked out in the sunlight. "A nice day..." He said to himself as he went for a walk, his black gunblades hidden from view and his silver one in the church.
After a while of swimming in the water Artemis eased herself out and sat on the edge, thinking. How things had gone from bleak to full of hope with just the discovery of her brother. Vahn was her whole world and she smiled knowing that she wasn't alone anymore. "Thank you," she said softly to the goddess.
Vahn walked on the streets, wondering how Artemis was doing right now in her town. "I seem to have your blessings for once..." He said as he walked toward the entrance of Blue Moon. "I guess I should be seeing her..." He said as the silver gunblade appeared on his back and he opened the entrance, sighing with relief.
Artemis walked back after she was was a little drier and pulled her jacket on. Now it was starting to get cold, so she hurried and ran home so she could change into dry clothes. She nearly ran into Vahn and smiled up at him then looked down at her clothes. "Um...." she laughed.
Vahn looked at her and smiled. "Let's head on home with ya." He said as he took off his jacket and put it over her. He looked at her and saw something in the background move. "Hmm, let's hurry..." He said as he put a hand on her shoulder.
Artemis nodded and hurried along. "Okay, um... what's wrong," she asked in a whisper, not really bothering to look back. She wasn't too worried with her brother here.
Vahn looked back and saw some more movement. He could smell black iron and he put his other hand on her shoulder. "We're being followed..." He whispered to her as he saw it was a single person in black robes. Vahn's eyes widened as he saw what he looked like. He had two different eyes, one red and the other blue. He was in a black cloak and and he had fangs across his neck in a string. That man...is he a vampire hunter? He thought to himself as he walked behind Artemis and sighed. "When I give the signal, run..." He whispered to her as he held his hilt tightly.
Artmemis grew alarmed but could sense something wrong as well. There was the smell.... of vampire blood. "Okay," she said shakily. Her walking was steady and she tried not to give themselves away. She wondered however, how the man had gotten inside.
Vahn could smell his blood and it wasn't human blood, but a vampire's blood. Not him!? He thought to himself as he saw him get so much closer. "Go..." He said as he pulled out one his small blades and guarded against his foes sword. "Go!" He said again as he backed him off and went after him. He fired a couple rounds, only to see them be blocked.
Artemis started running and as she did shadows appreared in alleys and behind buildings. They soon started to chase her and she ran faster. One of them was beside her, his eyes a deep crimson red and he smiled slyly at her, his fangs shining in the faint moonlight.
Vahn saw that Artemis was being chased and his eyes narrowed greatly as he was slashed in the arm. "You are toying with me, but going against my sister?" He said with a dark voice. He teleported and slashed the vampire in half as he pulled out his other small gunblade. "Artemis, don't worry about me, just go!" He said as he kept slashing at the vampires and killing them off rapidly.
Artemis hurried and ran outside, looking left and right. There were a few vampires here too, she could sense them. They were just waiting for her to make a move. With near blinding speed she summoned her arrow and shot a few of them then pulled out her sword as the rest rushed at them. I'll be fine, she assured him.
Vahn saw that at the end of it all, the same hunter was right there, but he had something covering his mouth that was sealed to his skin. "A mute...I know you..." He said as he put his small swords away and pulled out the silver gunblade. "I'll really get a kick out of this..." He said to himself as he waited for him to strike.
