Melodie awoke suddenly. She wasn't sure what the time was, but it was still dark. She struggled and propped herself up on the floor. No one noticed her when she passed the fox near the doorway. Typical. She was used to being a loner. No one liked her. She crept back to the pool entrance area, and saw that the Aria and Ankara and another girl were still there conversing. She spotted the sketchbook lying next to Ankara and decided to leave it there. She sighed and she walked down the hallway, refreshed with her returned powers and strength. She then passed a door leading out to the garden. She opened them and she stepped into the evening breeze. Melodie let her silver hair whip around her face and she looked up. She saw the blonde girl getting into bed, with red eyes, as if she had been crying. Melodie felt that she shared the same feeling before. She turned to her left and saw a bush of red roses. She plucked one out and summoned her wings. She gently placed the rose on the window sill, and rapped on the window quietly to get the youko's attention. She then floated down to the ground, brought back her wings and continued strolling into the garden.
