Helix ran in circles around the twins but stopped as they began to stretch. He blinked once smiled wide and began to stretch mirroring Kota

"look at all those ugly guys" he leaned over and whispered quietly to Sky "they all look like they need some good corndogs and even better flying monkeys" he smiled did a roll and disappeared quickly in a rip in the roof of the large tent

Sky stared at the clown. Somehow the way he said monkies irked at her. Did he mean it as an insult? What was he implying? She never did like clowns. Period... they creeped her out.

Kota did his best to focus on stretching, despite the distraction in front. He didn't mind the clown per se, he just knew that he was going to get an earfull from Sky that night.

Kota brushed it off then the two of them went to check and see when they were going to do their act. Sky's tail flicked impatiently as she eyed the clown running around and goofing off.

(gomen, typing for the two of them fast is a bit difficult with the coding) ^^;;

He sprang from the entrance over the line doing a graceful flip landing to one side of the audience. He bowed and smiled wide

He began to juggle to keep the audience happy as they were filing in trying to make Lilly's job that much easier

Suddenly a booming voice is heard all around the carnival. "Ladies and gentleman!
Boys and ghouls!
Step right up!
Behind this curtain lies a ghastly concoction of delight! Horror! Fantasy and terror!
Your every wish is our command!
Your every whimsical desire brought to life.
But I'm warning you...There's always a price!
WELCOME TO OUR CARNIVAL OF FEAR!!
LET THE SHOW BEGIN!"
The swarm of creatures started to head to the main big tent after the announcement was over.

Hearing the voice she looked up knowing it was the ring master, non had seen him. She had once but his face was still a blur. She shook the thought out of her head and fallowed the crowed of creatures to the tent finding her way to the back stage area seeing sky and kota she skipped over to them.

He froze for a moment as the voice boomed around the carnival. He was holding his arm out and in his hand was a deck of cards a younger being was reaching to pull one, he turned quickly and the cards caught on fire as they disappeared.

"Sorry sonny something subtitle for this silly smile has surfaced and i surmise that i shall soon see you shortly." his eyes glowed as he burst into flames and dissapeared

Sky started feeling jittery in her stomach. The same she felt before every show. It was always the same. She would shake, receive a hug from her brother, and together they'd go out to start their show. She never understood why she got nervous. She always did well, and she and her brother knew every possible move. He'd never drop her. It's been so long, they never had a doubt in each other.

Kota did his usual hug to calm the jitters of his sister. He was never nervous, He intently studied the crowd, decided where they should start.

Sky noticed someone though. Her brother caught the same person in the crowd that Sky was watching. Kota had a strong feeling about that guest. He was neither monster nor God, he was a mortal. The kind that rarely, if ever, get out.

'He's so alluring.' Sky thought. 'He draws my eyes to him. I'll catch him after the show.' She was certain of this. Lilly had skipped over to Sky and her brother. She pointed the boy in the crowd out to Lilly and the two began their girl giddy-talk that Kota never understood

Lilly watched the main announcer head outside talking to the crowd. She then grinned at sky and Kota since their act usually went first. "good luck you guys" she grinned "break a leg."

smoke seeped about slowly and helix stepped out and put an arm around kota

"finished your stretching and all limber?" He bent backwards and mimicked an archway as he put his hands to the ground

he thumped his tail onto the ground and flipped himself over. He pulled some candy out and began to noisily munch it

Kota and Sky took hands, their tails entwined. Together they stepped out into the ring when they were announced. The ominous round of applause startled Sky always. It wasn't regular applause. It seemed more, uniform, precise and together.

They did a deep bow and after a few seconds for the audience to settle, Kota and Sky assumed their positions quickly.

The music started and the trapezes were swinging. Sky went first wrapping her tail tightly around the bar, she faked a fall to get the audience on edge. Soon after she was up in the air twirling towards Kota who caught her with one hand.

She took hold of his bar with her free hand and in a split second, they had successfully swapped swings.

Their act stunned the audience. 15 minutes of spinning, twirling, flying and falling. Aerial acrobatics were definitely Sky's favorite routine, and with the flips in the air, the adrenaline pumping, the crowd cheering, she was in her happy place.

It seemed all too soon for her, but soon the twins were safely back on the ground, sweat falling of their faces, and their chests heaving for breath. This was the best feeling for Them.

indigo]Lilly applauded the twins as she usually did. "you both were wonderful. Per usual." She said in her bubbly voice. A few more acts went buy then she was announced. She strolled out to the edge of the stage, where the lights were darkened and one light on her. Her music started, slow and soothing. She strolled out to the middle where there was a chair, and upon the chair a clear box. She sat the box on the ground and stood upon the chair. She then lifted on leg up and then grabbed the bottom and pulled it back straight behind her leg. She then dropped it and slowly moved to the beat of the music. She then put both her hands on the top of the chair and pulled herself into a handstand balancing herself on it. She then twists her legs into an odd looking pretzel.
She did a few more awkward forms with her body before moving to her last stunt. She placed herself bottom first into the rather small clear box. then bringing her legs in she contorted her body to fit nice and neat awkwardly in the small box. The crowed applauded and she twisted herself so she came out feet first like a butterfly out of a cocoon. She threw her arms in the air and bowed then strolled back to the back of the tent.

Helix watched as performance after performance went on, he clapped for all of them his eyes beginning to fog as everything moved forward but he himself felt vaguely stagnant. There was a drum roll and the lights went out, fun peppy music started and he dropped like a stone from the top of the tent into the center ring. The crowd gasped as he lay still for a moment, just long enough to get them on the edge of their seat. He jumped up and with a flip as he began to juggle, he danced about the ring as other clowns followed suit performing jokes and gags making the audience laugh, putting them at ease for the moment

Sky rushed over to where lilly would be returning to the backstage area and as soon as lilly was through, the petite monkey girl jumped on Lilly's back. Sky leaned over Lilly's shoulder, pressing her cheek against Lilly's.

"Magnificent, My Dear! Excellent performance! That box cocoon stunt never ceases to amaze me. You's so pretty!" Sky was doating over Lilly, her tail happily swaying back and forth.

Kota came over, releasing poor Lilly from his sister's death grip of love. "Amazing, as always Miss Lilly." She gave her a curt nod and sat Sky in a chair. "No more jumping on people who just finished. She must be exhausted and I'm sure she doesn't need your weight jumping all over her. She's not a trampoline."

The two girls giggled and Kota left the two alone to talk.

Lilly rubbed her for head, then stumbled a bit as sky jumped her. Even though they were the same size she was quite use to her being on her back and she was fairly light anyways. "ahh thanks so are you!!" she giggled then glanced out seeing the swarm of clowns in the center of the tent with Helix in the midst of it all.

Sky muttered something about not liking clowns for one reason or another - she wasn't quite sure herself.

She went and grabbed a drink prepared for the carnies and took it and another back. She offered one of the cups to Lilly.
