Saix stepped forward and thrust a palm forward causing the door to blast backwards into the house and land on the floor flat about five feet past the doorway. "I tried to be conservative for you." Saix stepped inside and looked around before motioning for Dusk to follow.

Dusk followed in once Saix motioned to her and looked around. Rundown furniture covered in tarps filled the room. It was silent from what she could hear though mental patterns she could hear him. In moments she felt cold metal pressed to her neck. She didn't move but didn't show signs of fear or distress. She could feel his skin against her and the rough patches of scales caused an involuntary shiver. It was him. She dared not speak. She knew he was quick and without her powers working he coould slice her throat before she could do anything. She hoped Saix would be able to explain.

"Don't move or your partner is dead." Hissed a voice from the shadows. Only a his arm was able to be seen in the dim lighting. It was pale and splotches of scales dotted his skin. Glowing red eyes with slit like pupils stared at Saix keeping the scapel pressed against Dusk's neck. "So Kanami finally tracked me down but sending in a bunch of newbies wasn't good idea. Whose outside Orrin? Damien? Aura? Your all just cannon fodder" He hissed once more waiting for a reply from Saix.

((I'm confused, the new lady is suppose to be in the OLF building?))

Somnium stirred awake when Ray got up, so she decided to get break fast with her seeing as she, didn't fell like laying on the floor any longer. "I hate bad dreams, that was was particularly unusual." She told Ray as she devoured her cereal.

Before any even got in the kitchen Nikol was there enjoying a morning cup of tea. "Good morning everyone. There is beacon in the microwave." She said in a light, quite tone.

Arken still asleep tried to roll over, but instead rolled hismelf off of the couch he had been sleeping on, and down to the floor. He landed with a grunt but didn't move. One hand fumbled in a pocket and pulled out a lighter, and he flicked it a few times, to get a flame. Without looking he touched his finger to the flame and within seconds his body was burning, and Arken leapt to his feet, wide awake. He quickly put out the flames, toa void burning off his clothese. "Nothing like an ignite to wake ya up in the morning." He said as he popped his neck to the side working the kinks out of it. He then looked towards the door and noticed a woman in a dress stanidng there. "Whoa....thats kinda....dressy. Especially given the rather casual style that I've seen around here."

((Ahh....writers block. I can't seem to think up much good. But then its also 2 am.))

((Yup. She is))
Ray looked around first for the odd sound in her head, but only saw Pitch hissing. She shook her head, trying to think that she was still half asleep. That voice was familure to the cat man who showed her his home...and Fredrick. Ray looked over to Nicol, smiling. "Thank you. I'm making french toast too. Seems like forever since I have gotten to cook." She then looked over confusedly at Somonium, "Oh? What was your nightmare about?" She still listened in for that odd voice, going over to get tuna and cold mlk for the hissing cat as the french toast cooked. "Here, Pitch!" I'm not sure who was saying that, but I hope you and everyone would understand...dream or not. Though I hpe it was for Damien's sake.

Pitch growled softly. He wasn't asking for food. But then his own hunger finally hit him and he quickly ate his meal. "You do know that going back could easily get both you and Damien killed. A little more thought next time would be a good idea. Don't forget that if you die, your brother also dies. Are you willing to sacrifice him as well?" Pitch said into Rays mind, before turnign and wlaking out of the kitchen. Pitch then looked to Nikol and spoke into her mind, "Maybe you can talk Ray out of her suicide mission. I don't think she's listening to me."

((Thanks. They add character, no?))

She quickly took Luke in before glancing to the other man that commented on her outfit. Shoulders shrugged slightly and her black dress dissolved into a black cable knit sweater and ash grey jeans. She decided to keep the heels. Offering a hand she smiled. "Arri Firestorm. I'm here for the OLF. I hear good things, but am not sure what it is or what you do here. I would like employment." Her voice had a slight accent but it was hard to place. "Whom should I speak to?" Her head canted slightly and she looked between the two gentlemen in the foyer.

The Delirium Trigger
((What an awesome idea, we should totally have bums at the OLF.))
Luke was walking the halls as he heard the front door open. Turning around, he made his way back to the entrance of the OLF to find a woman standing in the doorway. "Hello, can I help you, miss...?"

After showering and getting dressed Boipelo walked into the lobby and raised a brow to the young lady at the entrance. "Hello, My name is Boipelo. Well it's not like a real job, but more like a extended family that groups together to scratch out a leaving for themselves in a world that hates you simply because they can. You can talk to any one really, but you might want to meet Saix, or Luke seeing as they are the heads. Do you mind telling us your name, so we wouldn't just refer to you and the mysterious pretty lady that showed up at our doors?" Boipelo said the last bit with a large smile.

Somnium responds to Ray, even though her eye was fixed on the doorway of the kitchen hearing a new voice from the leaving room. "Well there was this, gray man on a table, and doctors were doing horrible surgery on him, yet oddly he was laughing. After the doctors were done he got up from the table and started to sing and dance, while a slimy man rocked back and forth in a corner while eating a large bagel." Somnium finished knowing full well Ray would give her a funny look.

Nekol smiled at Ray's comment while knowing some one new was in the building yet not bothering to even glance in the doors direction until the person chose to walk further in. "I guess Boipelo and I should apologies, I assure you we didn't mean to purloin the joys of cooking from you." She ended in a sheepish grin.

We do what we must, because we can!
((Sorry, I was abnormally busy.))
Saix turned around slowly and looked entirely calm as he studied the situation. Tracing the energies of the room he found where the source of the voice was in the shadows and stared straight at it. "I am here in spite of Kanami, thanks, as is Dusk. And that stinking oozebag Orrin? I would rather see him dead, or his version of it at least. And I do not wish that upon many." To show a sign of good faith Saix stepped backwards away from Dusk, keeping his movements visible and harmless before continuing. "It appears as though Dusk's warranty is up. Her body is starting to degrade, and we came here for your help rather than risking our health with the good Doctor. And as you can see Dusk's powers aren't exactly working at the moment or else you wouldn't have been able to hold her hostage. Besides, I am not one of Kanami's works... I am of Kaleel. And I believe Dusk would agree that we would both appreciate it if you would remove the knife and deal with us peacefully."

Glowing red eyes widened at the explanationas the scapel was retracted from Dusk's neck. A hising laugh erupted from the shadows where he stood as he stepped into the dim lighting. Paul's clothes were ragged and worn tears in his pants and shirt. Patches of green scales ran across his exposes arms. The lower half of his face was elongated outwas sligthly comparable to a lizard and his nose wasn't very prominent. Dark messy black hair sat on top of his head as his laughter died down and he smiled revealing rows of sharp, pointed white teeth. He hadn't realized it was dusk he had grabbed but felt a bit stupid for not realizing. "Dusk, The last person I thought would ever leave Kanami and look she even has a man in her life now" He laughed once more widening his mouth enough to reveal a forked tounge. "Hmm an expiration date. I avoided mine quite easily. Something the great genius girl overlooked. I thought for sure if you would ever come back to me it would be for a new organ or the usual" He snickered as her turned to the wall and pressed his hand against it. There was a slight humming and the building shook lightly as the floor they stood on began to lower into the ground. A second one shut above them so any other guests in the building. wouldn't know the difference. When the floor came to a hault a pair of metal double doors opened to reveal a ligthly lit lab. Ingredients lined shevles and closets. Dark cages had growls and hisses. Operating tables lay neat and clean by the towers of glass tubes that held many disturbing contents. The scaly man exited the elevator and walked into his ture home. "Well do come in and I'll see f i can find anything then we can negotiate payment." He smiled once more as his eyes locked in on Dusk before turning and typing on the computer.

Dusk had moved twoards Saix in defense after she had been released. She had been slightly startled by the levator and the lab seeing as she hadn't even felt a trace of it when approaching. Then again Paul did have a talent for not being found. She watched the man move into his lab but didn't exit the elevator. The way he moved, the way he smiled, they way he looked at her. It made her uncomfortable and scared her to her very core. Another shiver moved through her body as he looked at her. His penetrating gaze causing her to freeze even more. She didn't resume breathing till her looked away. Payment. That word was still as evil as it ever was.

Saix watched how dusk reacted to her surroundings and the chain of events that were unfolding and decided that it would be best if he comforted her. He put a strong but reassuring hand on her shoulder and leaned in to say, "No worries, I'm right here. Nothing bad will happen so long as I can prevent it." Saix moved past her and into the lab to set a more welcoming tone to the place. After all, it was quite ghastly to begin with, but Saix's inner psychologist urged him to put forth a face of reassurance rather than disgust. He had dealt with 'people' like this before anyhow. Most of the time they like to intimidate just for the hell of it, but once in a while you get the real sick bastards like Kaleel or Kanami who have fun in deciding on horrible payments. He just hoped this Paul was not like that.

((I'm sorry, I didn't see this post at all. Went right over it when reading...))
Luke stood there for a second, taking in the situation before standing straighter as the questioning look dissolved from his face revealing a more composed one. "My name is Luke, and you should speak to me. I am the founder of the OLF, though you have joined us at a very trying time. I must be honest and warn you, being a member here nowadays seems to be increasingly dangerous. But, if you don't mind the attacks you are very welcome here." Luke stepped forward and shook her hand, smiling. "The place is a mess as we just waded through a recent attack."

I'm cold and broken.

It's hopeless, the end will come and wash it all away,
Forsaken, I live for those I lost along the way.
And I can't remember how it all began to break.
We suffer, I live to fight and die another day.

Fast I fade away, it's almost over, hold on.
Slow, I suffocate, I'm cold and broken alone.

((No worries.))

Her hand is very warm, but it only feels as if she would be running a high fever. "I don't mind trouble. What sort of protection do you have on the perimeter? I just floated right in and didn't really see any defensive measures. I might be able to help with that, Luke."

Arri took a slight step back. "I'm sure you don't have a dossier on me," A smile ghosts across her face but vanishes as quickly as it appears, "So just let me know what you need to know about me."

Dusk's nerves calmed sligthly with Saix's touch as she followed him out of the elevator. This underground lair was a place of horrors but no worse then Kanami's. Instinctivley she stayed close to Saix only a few feet away from him. She let out a calming breath as she watched Paul trying to return to her blank state.

They computer left of a beep as Paul's eyes scanned over the screen. His normal smirk curled downward into a frown as he typed some more before turning to Dusk and Saix. "Expiration by degration." He sneered in disgust. Not for fear od Dusk's life but for annoyance at the complexity. Kanami had put much value in Dusk. Her safeguard was quite tricky. "Though I expect you knew that. I figured Kanami's recent crash was you Dusk though you didn't find all the information did you?" He stated walking over to a table and bringing out vials and bottles. "It didn't have the formula for this though did it. The longer you go without the antidote the shorter the time you have left becomes." He said before he slid across the floor appearing next to the violet girl pricking her finger with a needle and producing a drop of her puprle blood. In another movement he was back at the table working with the sample he had taken. He distrubted it through machines and vials. "It seems though Dusk you don't have very long left at all. Your powers are malfunctioning it will only take a matter of time before you get sick. Your heart will try harder to pump the blood until it starts to dissipate and take your organs with it eventually leaving you a lifeless husk until that turns to dust as well. Very painful." He said shaking his head. "Though I think I have a solution to your problem. Are you ready for a surgey?" He smirked as her brought latex gloves over his hands.

Dusk wasn't hurt by the p***k on her finger and listened carefully the explanation of her death a bit unnerving. At the prosper of surgery she didn't know how to respond. After a few silent moments she found her voice. "Yes" She said quietly before turning to Saix. "I need you to watch me while I am under and make sure I'm alright" She said though was more asking him. She didn't trust Paul. She never had but this was her only chance.
