Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Depends." He gulped. The lady sent a shiver down his neck, like the Professor guy. Gettin in m'head...how many of 'em c'n do tha'? "Mean, seems like y'gota lotta people here'n'all..."

"You could always bunk with Gambit," the girl called who didn't look much older than him.

"Very funny," the lady Jean muttered as the girl bounced up and shook his hand so he hard he thought it would fall off.

"I'm Jubilee." She smiled widely. "So, I heard you ticked of Logan. What can you do?" Jeannie managed to perform the awkward semblance of a wry smile as he glanced at the broken piece of flooring. "You did that?" Her eyes had gone wide. The Professor and Ororo were looking at him curiously.

"Y-yeh...guess I'll stay...mean, don' have much elsewise t'do..." N'where else t'stay either, he added to himself with a slight glance at the lady Jean before moving down the hall a little ways to look into some of the open doors of the rooms. He sauntered along slowly, keeping Gambit in the corner of his eye.

Gambit smirked and winked down at Jeannie, eyes never leaving the boy's body as they moved down the dormitory hallways.
Jeannie felt himself blush and looked away quickly, turning the corner of the hall slightly. He jerked to a stop as a lady came out with bushy skunk-style-hair, red with a long white streak shot down through. She looked at him; he looked at her. They repeated the process. She looked over at Remy and moved closer to him, almost pushing him up against the wall.

"Well, hella, shugah," she purred. He leaned away as much as possible. Wha's she tryin' t'do, screwer m'wi'er tits? he wondered, hoping that the psychics wouldn't hear him. She reminded him of the lady his friends had tried to hook him up with. Scary in a way he couldn't put his finger on. "Y'heah wi' Gambit? He's a'ol' frien' o' mahn." She fingered one of her slim leather gloves, tugging at the middle finger until it came off.

Gambit easily slipped out of her grasp and smiled as he moved just as easily next to Jean. "Well, y' could say dat, mon ami. An' remembah: da Prof. said we play nice, oui?"
The woman nodded. "Ah remembah, shuh." She waved her pale, ungloved hand at Jeannie. "Y'be goo' now, hunneh. Maybeh I see ya 'round." She moved off into the library. The boy leaned against the man slowly, sighing.

"Tha' lady there...she scares the livin' shits outta meh," he muttered, closing his eyes as he felt the other's warm arm slide around his shoulders. A slow, thoughtful grin spread across his face. "Y'think y'coul' ge' some champagne sen' up t'ya room? er...our room?" He laughed. "Play cards'n'drink champagne."

Gambit blinked at the bold request from the boy. He let out a hearty laugh as he lead him inside their room, grinning and winking at the boy. "Ol' Remy nevah tink he hear dat befo', cher. You be good and he go get some good stuff fo' us."

He shook his head as he laughed, a slight skip in his step as he easily slipped down the railing downstairs, finding the nearest champagne bottle.
Jeannie looked around the room as Gambit moved downstairs. It smelled of cigarette smoke. He turned and let himself drop on the bed. It was long and rumpled, as if it had never been made since the day its owner had moved in.

He stared at the ceiling, scanning over the single table before closing his eyes, drinking in the smell as he turned his face into the pillow. He tucked the Ace--he'd forgotten he was holding it--into his pocket and sat up, kicking the edge of the bed as he swung his legs.

Gambit whistled to himself as he twirled the champagne bottle and glasses in his nimble fingers with the greatest ease. He hopped and skipped upstairs, smirking as he sauntered back in the room. "Mmm....He be back, cher."
Jeannie grinned. "Yeh." He moved over as the older thief made a show of pouring the bubbling liquid into the two glasses. He picked up the glass, taking a minute to figure out how to hold it as Gambit laughed. He blushed. "Shuddup. I never had t'hold one o' these fancy-shmance glasses before." He toasted and took a gulp.

It came back up in a spray as he choked and gagged on the taste of alcohol.

Gambit laughed, easily sipping his. "Boy, you got to take it slow, non? Sip it, don' drink it so quick."
Jean nodded and sipped at it, swallowing awkwardly. "Sorta burns," he rasped, closing an eye as the man ruffled his hair.

He smirked and playfully nipped his neck as he slowly downed his drink. The thief flicked his fingers and magically produced a set of cards from behind one of the boy's ears.
Jean gulped as the man nipped his neck, choking slightly on the drink before smiling. "Nice trick."

He winked and with a flick of his wrist made them all vanish. He carefully maneuvered behind him and snapped a finger, a couple of roses appearing in front of the boy.
He leaned and sniffed at the roses, tilting his head and looking back and up at the other mutant. Another small smile appeared on his face. "Y'ever gonna show me how t'do tha'?"
