Kurt smiled. "Ve vill see zen." He leaned over, kissing his cheek. Jeannie shifted his eyes from one to the other, rubbing the grit from the right, then the left.

Kurt smiled, returning the kiss. Jeannie huffed softly, worming under Gambit's back and nipping at his side.

The elf's smile widened as he nipped at the man's ear. The boy shifted under the man, kissing at his neck.

Jeannie blinked as Jubilee shook him awake. "Hnn?"

"Hey. Get up. We have to go."

"We're going to Senator Kelly's rally," Bobby whispered. "The Professor said he's sending us to spy on him. Let's go." Jeannie rubbed his eyes and stumbled up, following after them.

The Cajun slept soundly, Kurt nestled under his arms and against his chest.

Jeannie swallowed as they threaded their way into the crowd of teens around the man standing at the podium and speaking. He was standing next to a rope which lead to a giant thing covered by a massive white cloth.

"We need have no fear! We have the weapons now! And with this strength, we can overcome our enemies before they destroy us!" The crowd cheered as the man ranted.

Gambit slowly woke up, smiling as he planted some kisses on the Nightcrawler's forehead.

Nightcrawler purred, kissing his cheek. He blinked, looking around. "Vhere's ze little one?"

Fuse glanced around, blinking as he saw some people move up onto the nearest building before Bobby jerked his head back around to the senator. Kelly glowered down at the crowd.

"Mutants are an abomination! They must be arradicated, if we're to survive. They want to kill us."

"No we don't," hissed Jubilee.

"That's why we're unveiling today this new technology to use against these threats. To seek them out where they live and demolish them." He reached up and pulled the crowd. The sheet tumbled down.

"Oh mah God..." Fuse shuddered, staring at what was revealed. "Oh mah God..." A Sentinel. Iceman gripped his arm.

"Keep it cool, man. Don't go freaking out and blowing everybody up."

He tilted his head, gently kissing him slowly. "Mmm...dunno, cher...Maybe he went out?"

He shrugged. "Maybe ve should ask ze Professor?"

The robot turned its head, staring toward the three mutants and moving slowly. The crowd of teenagers immediately did the instinctive thing, despite the senator's reassurances: ran like all hell was on their asses.

"RUN! RUN RUN, ******** RUN!" the Cajun boy shouted, pushing the others from behind as he pelted through the mass of bodies. He gave them a shove and skidded to a stop, turning and racing back the other way.

"Fuse, are you out of your mind?! FUSE!" the two shouted, swept back by the rush of people.

He sighed, resting against the blue mutant's chest, kissing him slowly as he smiled up at him. "We can, cher..."

He concentrated and sent his thoughts out to the Professor, asking where Fuse had gone.

"Hm?" The Professor turned his thoughts toward him. "Fuse went Jubilee and Iceman to the Kelly rally. They're--"

"Professor!" Logan's thoughts broke in violently. "The kids're in trouble! They've got a Sentinel!"
